The month looks like a busy one as far as your friends and any groups or organizations you've involved with. There also looks like some changes are afoot that will affect your home, career, and finances. The Full Moon on October 14 should mark the culmination of something related to your 5th House, i.e. a creative project, a romance, or something related to your children. This could be an ending or simply the beginning of a new phase. Also note that Mercury is retrograde until the 14th. Bear in mind that we seldom move forward with new ideas during this time, but it's excellent for going over existing ones with a fine tooth comb to find anything we missed. Also, as always, don't buy anything mechanical or electronic, particularly a car of major appliance, during this time as it will inevitably turn out to be a lemon.

There's a configuration known as a Triangle of Potential in effect for most of the month that involves Saturn, Uranus, and Jupiter. All of these are outer planets which move slowly and thus have long-term effects on our lives. Saturn has been strolling along through your 10th House of career for just over a year. Saturn is quite comfortable in this locale and has probably imbuing you with increased ambition and desire to pursue your career goals and ambitions. This house also relates to your public image. Note, also, that your career and job (6th House) are not necessarily the same. Your career is where you leave your mark on the world and where you heart is as opposed to your work, which may be no more than a paycheck to you or anyone else. Saturn can be a stern task-master and teaches us responsibility, imposes boundaries and limitations, and encourages us to meet our obligations. If nothing dramatic has happened in this area of your life so far, that may be about to change.

This Month Saturn will oppose Uranus, planet of sudden change, unexpected events, rebellion, and surprises. Uranus is across the zodiac in Pisces, your 4th House of home environment. If there have been a lot of disruptions and general chaos centered around your home and family for the past five and a half years, this is your culprit. After that length of time, it probably feels somewhat normal, but it's really not. This month when Saturn and Uranus face off with one another it appears that something significant is going to come along that creates a conflict or tug-o-war of some sort between home and work. This isn't particularly unique, but this will be more than the usual frustration of having enough time for both.

The interesting part is that Jupiter, your Sign Ruler, is also involved, and he's hunkered down in your 2nd House of finances, possessions, and pleasures in positive aspect to both Saturn and Uranus, implying that financial considerations are a key factor. Jupiter will receive an extra shot of energy due to being squared by the Sun between October 3 - 11. During this time beware of being overconfident and keep the facts before you. This influence could work either way in this argument. Perhaps you'll be offered a significant promotion or another position that will mean a big fat raise, but it will require you to be away from home much more than you already are.

It's pretty rare for anyone to not need more money, so this would be a serious thing to consider, particularly if you've been struggling to make ends meet, which is also pretty common these days. However, if you really feel that it would be detrimental to your family to be away so much, perhaps Jupiter will help you find another solution to the financial end of things. Remember that Uranus is full of surprises and you never know what he'll stir up. Regardless of what you may think is going to happen, you can bet it will be something entirely different. At any rate, when this issue comes along this month, keep an open mind and consider all your options.

During the first week of the month Mars will sextile Pluto. Mars will be in your 11th House of friends, group associates, as well as hopes and wishes until October 5. A sextile usually brings an opportunity and is considered a positive aspect, but when you get two bad boys like Mars and Pluto together this doesn't always work in your favor. Rather, it's somewhat like that friend you had in junior high who was ever so much fun but the two of you always managed to get into trouble of some sort. Pluto is in your 1st House of personality, which will mean such things as power issues as well as weeding the garden of your life. On the positive side, this could mean an opportunity to assume power of some type relative to one of the groups or organizations your affiliated with. It could also mean a clash of some sort where someone is trying to undermine what power and influence you already have. You'll recognize it when you see it.

The Sun will trine Neptune from October 10 - 18, which implies some inspirational thoughts will be available and could be helped along by one of your friends or associates. It also could relate to your hopes and wishes, and perhaps getting a clearer picture of what they comprise. Naturally, this could also tie into that home - career issue as well.

From October 19 - 28 the Sun will sextile Pluto, which will ultimately result in some serious soul searching regarding what you really want in life. Consider where you are, how you got there, perhaps why you're not somewhere else, and how you have helped or hindered yourself along the way. This also ties into future achievements. The New Moon on the 28th is in your 12th House of spirituality, inspiration, and dreams, so something new is coming along in this area that you can identify if you give it enough thought. Mars will sextile Jupiter from October 22 - 31. Again, this could be a separate issue or simply another component of the bigger picture in force this month. Mars is all about drive and energy and if it's tied into your hopes and dreams, this will further help you make that decision about home and career. Venus is favorably placed during this time to help you as well.

All in all, this will be a very active and significant month for you with lots of mental and spiritual action running in the background. A turning point is brewing that is a preamble to the coming year. Be sure and consider all angles and follow them through to the results and/or consequences for each in making your decision. Like they say, be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.
