This month Twins will see a lot of activity developing in your 5th House of children, lovers, ego, and creativity. Being told to stay busy is not something you are typically counseled to do, and this month there will be more stimulation than usual pulling you in various directions. If you consider all the things that are comprised by the 5th House and the potential they have for consuming your time, I'm sure you'll see what I mean. As if existing issues aren't enough, expect that New Moon in the same House to kick off something new sometime around September 29 as well. There are a couple of long-term aspects out there this month that deserve some thought. These involve the slower moving, outer planets, e.g. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. From the first part of September through mid-December, Jupiter and Saturn will be in trine. With Jupiter in your 8th House of transformations and Saturn in your 4th House of home environment, something is definitely brewing in this area. Jupiter, especially when he's retrograde, tends to stir up issues related to beliefs and ethics and in your House of transformations, this implies you'll be considering a few things that will have a transformational effect on you. In other words, you won't be quite the same when all is said and done, and with Saturn in your 4th grinding away on your sense of responsibility and obligation, these will be tied together in some fashion to effect change in how you see this part of your world. When the Sun conjoins Saturn between September 4 - 8, you should get at least a good glimpse of what this might be, if you don't already know. Another long-term aspect that has been out there for a while, but will fade away toward the end of the month is a scratchy semi-sextile between Uranus and Neptune. This aspect tends to stir up nuisances and annoyances that draw your attention to something that requires attention. These two planets are in a configuration known as a Mutual Reception, meaning that each is resident in the Sign the other rules, giving them increased synergy, or what you could even call positive interference, if you recall anything from your college physics classes. This is taking place in your 9th House of legal matters, higher education, beliefs, and long-distance travel as well as your 10th House of career and reputation. These two neighboring houses have a lot of influence on one another and it looks as if each is egging the other on in some fashion. Remember that Uranus is the planet of disruptions, unexpected events and change while Neptune makes it his goal in life to hand out rose-colored glasses. If you have anything going on in these areas of your life, the stimulation will continue until the end of the month, so you need to take a hard look at what the Universe is trying to tell you, if you haven't figured it out already. Maybe it's time for a major career change that involves a significant move or going back to school or maybe you simply need to get your belief system in-line with something. Note that the Full Moon on September 15 is also in your House of career, indicating either a culmination or new phase is afoot, so if you're considering a change, this supports it. Do your best to figure it out as it could be key to other dilemmas you're dealing with at this time. It's particularly interesting to note that Sarah Palin's Natal Sun is currently conjoining Neptune, drawing some obviously heavy energy from this aspect in her direction, particularly with the Full Moon further energizing things with respect to her Natal Sun. There's quite a square dance going on between Mars, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter between September 3 - 18. Mars and Venus are converging into a conjunction that will last for much of that timeframe during which they'll throw a square to Jupiter with Mercury following suit around the same time. As you've probably already guessed, most of them are hanging out in Libra, your aforementioned 5th House. This has particularly interesting implications when you think of Mars and Venus in a bear hug in your house of romance with Mercury enhancing communications. While squares have a generally sordid reputation for stirring up trouble of some sort, Jupiter is friendlier than some so shouldn't be too bothersome. What you do need to watch out for, however, is being too over-confident or optimistic when the facts don't warrant it. With Jupiter in your House of transformations, there's unlimited potential here for something very interesting to occur. Since you're good at being reasonably objective as well as data gathering, you should be able to keep this one under control. The key is to enjoy yourself as much as possible without getting too carried away. If there's no romance in your life, then it might be something like how much money it's going to take to get your kids back to school or even putting forth a superior effort toward selling yourself or one of your creative ideas, which could involve investors, as well. As noted earlier, the 5th House has a broad spectrum of possibilities attached as does the 8th, and these are the houses we're dealing with. During this same time period, i.e. between September 10 - 16, the Sun will oppose Uranus, which should trigger a situation of some description that pits your homelife against your career. As we all know, when it rains, it pours, so it figures that when you have all that other stuff going on that this will come up, too. Can you say "Murphy's Law?" From September 17 - the end of September, Mars and Mercury will be trining Neptune, which means we have your ego or creativity in cahoots with some inspiration associated with those 9th House issues of academia, long-distance travel, beliefs, and legal matters; contracts, particularly, come to mind. This looks like it will bring something positive your way, but remember to keep those rose-colored glasses on the table and read any fine print very carefully. Pluto gets into the action toward the second half of the month, i.e. September 18 - 25, when he's squared by the Sun. The Sun starts out in your 4th House of home environment, which will bring something to your attention that requires clean-up, somewhat like when your cat leaves a dead rodent on the back porch. It's intended to be a present, but usually doesn't elicit a very favorable reaction when you step on it on your way out the door to go to work. Pluto, by the way, is in your 7th House of relationships, so it isn't too hard to guess what this is going to entail. It may not be quite as easy as you think, however, since relationships in the 7th house context include all one-on-ones, though they'll more than likely be limited to your family members. The Sun slips into Libra on the 22nd, bringing the Sun into play with all that other 5th House creativity-children-romance-ego business noted earlier. This will bring more light and emphasis to it, but in square with Pluto, who remains in your house of relationships, it looks like whatever issue it is will spill over from strictly your home environment to your creative endeavors, involve your ego in some way, or perhaps children other than those that live with you. As the month draws to a close, that Mars - Venus pair will sextile Pluto, but this generate some opportunities, probably by discovering something you didn't know before, or meeting someone who can assist you in some way. If you have a creative work you're trying to sell, this looks auspicious for something like that. One more thing to note is that Mercury goes retrograde from September 24 through October 15. As your Sign Ruler, this will affect you more than most others. Just remember that this is a good time to rework, review, and replan to make sure you haven't missed anything. Accept it for what it is rather than getting frustrated when moving forward doesn't seem to be working out. Also remember not to buy anything mechanical or electronic during this time or it will have a virtual curse upon it for as long as you own it. Since you already live in a highly stimulated mental environment, this month should keep you hopping with all that action in your 5th House. Personal expression is what it's all about, though kids or romance could be involved as well. Pursuing something in this area will have a lot of zodiacal help, so put it to work while it lasts. Venus will help you put your best face forward such that you're well-received, and her companion, Mars, will give you the drive and energy to move forward appropriately. Just make sure you set your priorities such that you devote enough time to those things that require action at this time.
