This month expect a lot of activity with your relationships, particularly intimate ones, with the possibility of someone new coming into your life. Also note that this month you'll have your solar opposition, or half-birthday. At this time expect to be in the spotlight in some way or another. Don't take any foolish chances, however, because some folks tend to be accident prone during this time, probably because they're showing off. Since impulsiveness and vying for attention are better left to the Fire Signs, you'll probably be okay. If your birthday falls right around May 4, give or take a few days, something of a personal nature will culminate this month with the Full Moon on November 13. All Bulls will see something draw to a close, but it will be a bigger deal for those born at that time since it will be right on top of your Natal Sun. There are also some significant long-term aspects out there that will have a slow and steady influence on you over the next several months. Since slow and steady is what it's all about for Taurus, you should appreciate these quite a bit.

The outer planets, which include Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, move around the Sun fairly slowly, meaning they transit the Houses of your horoscope slowly as well. As long as their in residence in a particular House, they will throw their planetary influence to that part of your life. For example, if stuffy Saturn, who takes about two and a half years to travel through a Sign, is in your 6th House of work and health, you're likely to encounter circumstances and events that bring you more responsibility or delays on your job, probably through a task-master boss, or perhaps precipitate some health issues. If quirky Uranus, who takes about 7 years to go through a sign, is in your 7th House of relationships, you can expect to encounter either a lot of odd people or experience various surprises and disruptions in your relationships. Actually, these are the two planets involved in the current aspect, which is an opposition between Saturn, who's in your 5th House of creativity, romance, personal expression, children, and entertainment, and Uranus, who's in Pisces, your 11th House of organizational involvement, friends, socializing, and hopes and wishes. Bear in mind, however, that these two vastly different planets are pitted against each other.

Saturn in your 5th House isn't a particularly nice place for this ringed wonder to be hanging out. This is kind of like having your friends over for a party, then having your mother-in-law show up at the same time with a very large suitcase. At the least, Saturn is about delays, so if you're trying to get somewhere in one of those areas, such as a creative project, progress will probably be slow. Also, if you're looking for romance, that may not be progressing like you'd hoped, either, though this particular month you may get some relief on that score thanks to the inner planets, but we'll get to that later. Your ego is taking a beating as well, in one way or another. Uranus, planet of surprise events, rebellion, innovation, and the unexpected, is just a little over halfway through your 11th House of groups, friends, hopes and wishes. Uranus rules the zodiacal 11th House, so he's quite at home there. This is rather fortunate, because if you're having a lot of action with friends and involvement with groups or organizations, you may not notice that your creativity and those other areas of your life are stuck in the mud.

This is the general theme going on with this opposition, which will be exact on November 4. It's not going away anytime soon, however, because of retrograde motion. These outer planet encounters frequently occur three times, as will this one. Thus, right around November 4 something in these areas of your life will manifest themselves with it giving you even more to think about around February 5th, then depart for good in September 2009. That's roughly ten months of tutoring, which is bound to take you somewhere you haven't been before. One way this could manifest would be you for you to realize that creative endeavors (or working with your children or romance) are not always fun but often require a lot of hard work to make them come to fruition. You're beginning to figure this out, but at the same time your social life keeps you so busy there's no way for you to find the time to devote to developing your idea, which in turn keeps you from achieving your hopes and wishes in this area.

Right around this same time, Venus, your Sign Ruler, will park her pretty little self right between Saturn and Uranus in your 8th House of sex, death, other people's resources, and transformation. Since Venus has a strong influence on both resources and relationships, this is bound to be noticeable. With her in between that opposition, she's going to provide a pivot point that centers around one or more of those 8th house issues. At this point it's up to you to do the mix and match with the house elements because there are so many possibilities I could never begin to touch on them here. At the same time, Mercury, who rules communications and data of all types, will sextile Pluto, also in your 8th House. Pluto is quite happy in the 8th House, so when these two get together expect a wealth of interesting information to come your way that will be at a much deeper level than you'd normally encounter. Past baggage could be dug up as well, giving you an opportunity to resolve it once and for all.

If you've been kidding yourself about any of your relationships, expect a sanity check in that department as well. Romantic or sexual fantasies are possible about this same time as well as some inspiration pertaining to utilizing other's resources in some way or perhaps obtaining a loan in this tight market. Taurus are good at both, so maybe you'll pursue both so you cover all your bases, like the practical creature you are. Members of the opposite sex may be somewhat annoying right around the 7th, but this should be of short duration. From November 10 - 11, the Sun will be throwing a lot of additional emphasis toward all the creativity/romance versus groups/hopes & wishes action. This should be of a positive nature, so not to worry. Note that the Sun, Moon, and inner planets such as Mercury, Venus and Mars, who move relatively quickly, instigate the daily occurrences that play out the larger theme set by those outer planets. Jupiter gets into the act as well at this same time, another positive influence, that will affect your beliefs in some way. A long trip, relocation, contract, or higher education issue may come about that provides a major clue toward where you should be heading to make this all come together over the next several months, so pay attention.

On November 12 your buddy, Venus, will conjunct Pluto, which is always an interesting combination, especially in your 8th House of sex, transformations, and other people's resources. I'm not even going to attempt to speculate how that will play out so I'll leave that one up to you to figure out whether it will be about love, money, or a combination of the two. On the 13th Jupiter will sextile Uranus, implying that a big surprise or unexpected event such as a sudden trip or opportunity to do something you really want will come along. Later that same day, another relationship revelation may come your way, right along with the Full Moon that, as you recall, is closing out something about you, one of your behaviors, or something else in your life that affects you personally.

Mercury will be bringing more data your way to consider between November 16 - 17 and this should relate to what got started the week before as far as your beliefs, that trip, contract, or whatever is concerned. Again, this is all relating back to that same theme with Saturn and Uranus in opposition. I find it particularly interesting that the opposition is exact on November 4th, which happens to be (or was, depending on when you're reading this) Election Day. The parallels that could be drawn between this planetary aspect and the two major presidential candidates is certainly interesting, to say the least. But I digress. Expect more data to help with your sanity checks on the 17th and more power boosts to your creativity on the 21st. Again, these are likely to hail from your 9th House of beliefs, long distance travel, academia, and so forth.

When the Sun conjuncts Mercury on the 25th a lot of transformation energy will be coming your way, so pay attention and expect something to affect you in what could even be a life-changing way. The New Moon on the 27th is in that same neighborhood, further indicating that a significant experience that affects you deeply is on the way, give or take a day or so, or even a week, since the Moon is involved. Your friend, Venus, will be bringing you more opportunities in this same vicinity on the 28th. This month has numerous positive aspects out there, more than usual, which should bring some good things your way. On the 29th a burst of energy and drive that further fuels that transformation will come your way and on the 30th some good fortune should be directed toward that creative effort, romance, child, or whatever you have going on over there in your 5th House. On December 1st, expect to have another significantly good day that again relates to your beliefs, travel or some other 9th House matter.

Also on the 27th Pluto will once again move into Capricorn, which happens to be your now famous 9th House. This is a bit of a rerun, since this initially ran in January, but due to retrograde motion he went back into Sagittarius for a time to complete some unfinished business, which for you was probably a transformation of some description. Now he's back in Capricorn to stay until November 2024, which will give him plenty of time to stir things up in that 9th House. This is clearly significant to all this other stuff going on. Remember that Pluto is the zodiacal roto-rooter who digs up old dirt so you can clean it out, heal, and move on. He's going to take his time addressing all such issues related to your beliefs, which includes religion and politics, your attitude toward higher education, legal issues and how you feel about foreign cultures. Long distance travel will carry extra meaning for you as you discern things at a deeper level than ever before.

Needless to say there is all sorts of stuff going on this month and it's impossible for me to completely nail down exactly what it will be because the houses involved cover so much territory. Significant growth and changes are underway, however, and the impetus this month is largely of a positive nature, so pay close attention to what's going on and then set yourself on the right path to make it work for you over the next several months.
