There is a lot going on in your 9th House of beliefs, long distance travel, and legal matters this month as well as a variety of career issues. There is also some long-term aspects in effect that relate to your personality and your relationships. Long-term aspects involve the outer planets, i.e. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, who all move quite slowly. They remain in your various houses for a long time and often the aspects they make with one another linger for a long time as well. Furthermore, due to retrograde action the exact aspect can occur as many as three times. The first "hit" introduces the issues, the retrograde contact gives you plenty to think about, and the final one usually buttons it up. One such aspect that starts out with its first hit on November 4 is an opposition between Saturn and Uranus.

Saturn, planet of delays, responsibilities, authority (including your father), and obligations, is currently in your 7th House of relationships. Saturn spends about two and a half years in each sign, bringing structure and serious consideration to each venue. Saturn enters Libra about a year from now though he'll make a return visit to Virgo in 2010 due to the aforementioned retrograde motion. Thus, he'll be bringing his sometimes heavy influence to your relationships until roughly mid-2010. Remember that relationships in the astrological context include all one-on-one interactions, not simply your significant other. All close friends, family, business associates, and cliental if you're in business for yourself, are included in this overhaul.

Uranus, planet of disruptions, innovation, surprises, unexpected events and rebellion, is in your 1st House of personality. Uranus stays in each sign approximately 7 years and at this time is a little more than halfway through Pisces. I suspect that its effect on you should be intuitively obvious. The flavor of this influences will shift according to the other planets that aspect Uranus while he's there. With Saturn in opposition, that influence should also be intuitively obvious, i.e. your efforts to reinvent yourself are going to impact your relationships as those around you try to figure what on Earth is going on. Kapeche?

On November 3, right as that opposition is settling into exactitude, Venus will plop down right in the middle and form a T-Square from your 10th House of career and reputation. Venus is generally pretty friendly and influences are finances as the ruler of Taurus and our relationship as the ruler of Libra, both of which clearly relate to your career. Thus, good things are likely to be going on with your career with other planets in there as well stirring things up this month, which we'll get to in a moment. Meanwhile, this career and/or reputation blessing, whatever it may be, will also create a fulcrum between that Saturn-Uranus see-saw action. This could be a good thing as a fulcrum tends to stabilize things a bit, and this should also give you something to consider in that ongoing argument between your self and those around you. Pay close attention to what goes on these few days and also bear in mind that the New Moon later in the month on November 27 occurs in your career House as well, implying something new is coming along in that area.

Back to those first few days of the month, however, a few other aspects will come into play to help you gather data as well. Mercury and Pluto will get together to help you assess past experience that has influenced not only your beliefs but how they relate to your current career choice. Mars is also going to be slapping Neptune upside the head with a reality check, which will be another clash between your current beliefs versus any inspiration that may have been driving your life of late. Don't be too put off by this, however, knowing how Pisces really don't like reality very much, as Venus will be comforting poor Neptune and opening up an opportunity for some of his dreamy inspiration to sneak into your career considerations. Don't expect members of the opposite sex to be particularly understanding as the presence or lack of that "Y" chromosome is going to affect your thinking and thus what may be crystal clear to you will be a total enigma to your gender's counterpart. This won't last long, either because they figure it out or give up, and should be no more than a minor annoyance.

From November 10 - 13 several more interesting aspects come into play leading up to the Full Moon. The Sun is shining brightly in your 9th House of beliefs (including religion and politics), long distance travel, higher education and legal matters. This will be the melting pot for everything else you have going on with that personality/relationship deal as well as some expansion of your 11th House matters such as your friends, group associations, and oddly enough, your hopes and wishes. All these should blend together in a manner than only a Pisces could understand. Venus will have a tête-à-tête with Pluto in that House of Career during about that same time which will awaken a potentially unresolved issue from your past that involves either your finances or a relationship. This will somehow be relevant to this career issue. A lucky break, probably through a friend or associate, will further reinforce your personal path of renewed self-definition, though this will be accompanied by another clash between your beliefs and that inspiration. The Full Moon on the 13th is in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, short journeys and neighbors and indicates a culmination or end of a phase in one of those areas.

The month's aspects continue on between November 16 - 17 with Mercury stirring up all sorts of thoughts, ideas, communication, and data gathering. This will also relate to your ongoing me vs. you discussion and likewise pull input from either friends, associates, or your hopes and wishes. Fortunately, this time Mercury will be giving Neptune's dreaminess a sanity check to keep him in check. Note that this has happened three times this month from Mars, the Sun, and Mercury, respectively, as they've squared Neptune. Neptune is your Sign Ruler and it's easy for you to wander off into fantasyland, but currently something important is going on and the Universe is making sure that you keep both feet on the ground, like it or not.

On the 21st a casual acquaintance may graduate to a closer relationship which will be very helpful through all this. Keep an eye out for the candidate to surface through a conversation that grabs you in some way where you realize this person deserves a more important position in your life at this time. On the 25th, expect a major blast of career data to come your way, either as thoughts or information. The New Moon on the 27th in this same neighborhood will be introducing something new in the career/reputation arena. Group associations, friends and hopes/wishes will once more fuel your need for personal change on the 28th. The next day, a burst of energy will come your way, again hailing useful career data. This could also be a confrontation of some sort, also related to career. Networking will serve your relationships well right around the 30th, implying some lightening up or understanding on the part of those close to you. The new month begins with a very nice burst of luck and good fortune, again hailing from your group associations or friends.

Clearly this month will kick off an interesting year. That Saturn-Uranus opposition hits for the first time on November 4, then repeats through retrograde on February 5, 2009 and then again for the final encounter on September 15, 2009. Remember that it all gets started now, will give you plenty to consider come February and then find completion in September 2009. Important events are coming that will bring about significant personal changes in both your personality and relationships. More than anything it will benefit you to study the art of compromise. While it's important to assert ourselves and follow our respective dreams, it's also important to consider its impact on those around us. There are times when what we're pursuing may be more important that one or more relationship, but this is heavy stuff that deserves considerable thought. Pisces tend to oscillate between being a savior or a martyr. While you shouldn't allow those around you to define you or your life, likewise, saving the world or those around you isn't likely to be feasible, either. Finding a strong personal identity and means to express it to the world, however, is a worthy pursuit for everyone. Have at it.
