This month the majority of activity will be in your house of work and house of relationships. This is tied in with one of those long-term aspects that is effecting significant changes in your life, albeit slowly. The outer planets, i.e. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, act like program managers directing the overall flow while the faster inner planets, i.e. Mercury, Venus, Mars as well as the Sun and Moon, are the worker bees stimulating faster breaking events on the day to day basis. This month on the 4th Saturn will oppose Uranus for the first of a triple play. It's typical for outer planet aspects to hang in there for a while and be exact three times due to retrograde motion of one or both of the planets. In this case, it will repeat in February and September 2009. Thus this first occurrence will kick something off that will continue over the next several months. The areas of you life likely to see some effects are your home life and career. More specifically, changes or unexpected events in your career or reputation area will somehow change your responsibilities at home. This gets even more interesting this month since both of those planets are creating an aspect known as a T-Square with Venus, Goddess of Love, who just happens to be in your 7th House of relationships. Does that sound interesting or what?

Venus isn't singing solo, either. But rather than jump ahead too much, here's the melody the zodiacal symphony is playing this month. Also on November 4th Mercury will sextile Pluto. This is a favorable aspect that usually brings an opportunity of some sort. This will bring some information your way regarding either something involving your work or relative to you health that until now was unknown. Right around that same time your beliefs may be challenged in some way. Be careful of deception, however, and make sure you have all the facts before reacting. These considerations, however, will bring something your way of a positive nature, again in the relationship area. Remember that relationships in this context include all with whom you interact on a one-on-one basis, such as close friends, coworkers, relatives in addition to your significant other. If you don't have a significant other, then maybe one is on the way. November 7 you may find it difficult to communicate with those of the opposite sex, however, or they might just plain be getting on your last nerve. Bear with it and don't do anything horribly rash because it won't last long.

November 10 - 13 those home and career issues will be highlighted in such a way that it will have a lasting effect on you in some way. An increase in responsibility is likely that could result in a promotion or raise or some other form of recognition. That relationship business is going to be heating up as well during this time. A mysterious encounter or transformational experience is one possibility. Your libido is going to be in high gear, so make sure you don't allow that to drive any important decisions that should be made more logically since you really don't want to hate yourself in the morning. Career opportunities are out there during this same time which could be in an entirely different area than you're currently engaged. The vibes to find more satisfying endeavors hails from that Saturn - Uranus opposition. I even saw an article in a magazine the other day that talked about this very thing. The need to make a difference and feel good about our influence on the world is very strong these days so you're not alone. If you've been fooling yourself in any way, the lightbulb is going to come on around this same time. This period of time culminates with the Full Moon on the 13th which will further help you shift from one phase to another regarding your dreams or other spiritual pursuit.

Your Sign Ruler, Mercury, will be bringing you all sorts of interesting information November 16 - 17. Again, this will relate to your career or reputation in some way and have a transformational effect. Your homelife will be affected in a positive way as well, particularly your relationships with those in your household. Again, if you've been deceiving yourself in any way, this is likely to come out and have a strong influence on your beliefs. It could also affect your plans toward higher education, long distance travel, or even a legal issue. (Bear in mind that a legal issue includes anything that involves contracts as well, e.g. marriage, closing a property sale, and so forth.)

On November 21 expect further expansion to those events and such going on at home that are slowly but surely changing how you look at things. You are becoming a slightly different person, older and wiser, if you will, through experiences you're having now. These are not always fun but they help move us in the direction we're supposed to go. More is coming in this area on the 29th when home responsibilities will come up again, but in a favorable way that will also leave a lasting impression. Right around December 1st something really good should happen, perhaps involving your finances or perhaps simply another memorable experience that should be very pleasant, by the looks of things.

The spotlight will be on you regarding communications of all kinds on November 25, give or take a day or so. People will pay attention and listen, so make sure what you say is worth hearing. This applies primarily to that relationship area again, so if there are any conversations that need attention and discussion, this is a good time to express yourself. Information regarding relationships may come to you now in other forms as well, such as letters or cards. The same goes for you. Sometimes conversations are too difficult to handle, which is why Hallmark has made so much money. If that's the case, rather than ignore a situation that needs attention of some sort, consider sending a card. The New Moon on the 27 in this same House of relationships further indicates something new is developing in this area. Right around the 28th more surprise opportunities with a significant spin in the career/reputation area are on the way as well. Any conversations around the 29th are going to be quite feisty as well as philosophical. These will also center around your relationships or with those close to you.

One other long-term influence that is coming this month is the ingress of Pluto into Capricorn. If this brings a sense of déjà-vu, that's because this happened already in January, but then the little dickens backed out due to retrograde motion, so this is Capricorn Ingress Part II, but this time Pluto is there to stay until November 2024. As noted in previous months, Pluto is the zodiacal roto-rooter who absolute forbids us from continuing to sweep anything under the rug that relates to the House he's visiting. In the case of Gemini, this is your 8th House of transformations, sex, death, and other people's resources. This is a lot of heavy-duty stuff, but there's no need to freak out. Pluto is not only about death, but about regeneration. You could compare his domain to the removal of anything toxic so that healing can occur. Like the roto-rooter analogy noted earlier, he'll dig things up and make a big mess, but when all is put back where it belongs, things are better than ever.

Over the next several years as Pluto transits this house many events and experiences will be coming your way that will have a transformation effect on you. Depending on what planets you have in Capricorn, if any, he'll have a special experience for you related to them as he goes through that area. Also, as he aspects other natal planets you'll feel it as well. This takes a long time to accomplish since he moves slowly and also goes retrograde for fairly long periods of time on a regular basis. It's typical for him to hit the same area three times with him stirring things up on the first pass, giving you plenty to think about on the first retrograde pass, then cleaning things up and moving on with the third. I'm not telling you this to scare you by any means, but to give you a heads-up of what to expect in the spirit of "forewarned is forearmed." Geminis are all about data so this should be a stimulating learning experience as you step back with your very active and intelligent mind to think about what is really going on. Planetary transits are about personal growth and are what we make of them. If we have a weakness that needs correcting they can be painful, but their primary purpose is to tutor us in an area where we need it.

This is going to be quite a busy and interesting month. Home, work, career and relationships are going to see a lot of action that will have a lasting effect on you and how you see the world. Gather all the data you can, as you are so adept at doing, and use it to move yourself along the path of life.
