This month a few things are on the zodiacal agenda that will have long-term effects. First of all Pluto goes into Capricorn--again. Yes, I know this seems like old news, or at least familiar, and that's because Pluto first stepped into that Sign in January. However, thanks to his propensity for retrograde motion, he wasn't there very long and went back to Sagittarius to take care of some unfinished business. On November 27th, however, he'll enter Capricorn again, and this time to stay. Capricorn represents your 10th House of career and reputation, so over the long-haul that's the area of your life that will be affected.

Pluto, as you may recall, is the astrological roto-rooter and will be unearthing all sorts of things. While he can make a big mess, he's also the planet of transformation. Sometimes you can't move on with major changes until you do a thorough forensic analysis on where you are or have been. At any rate, this is going to mean some significant discoveries and changes relative to your career for a long time to come since Pluto will be there until 2024. During that time the inner planets will be throwing a variety of energy that way which will help define the path. Knowing how Aries-types like adventure, this should be an interesting time. Since 1995, while he's been in Sagittarius, he's been working on your core beliefs, attaining a higher education, and transforming your cultural attitudes. You may have made some trips overseas or relocated during that time as well. Expect those influences to fade away into new horizons that relate most strongly to your career and reputation.

As you've probably figured out, the outer planets are the prime forces in our overall life's plan. These "outies" move slowly and deliberately, go retrograde on a regular basis to re-emphasize lessons we missed or didn't complete, and plod along in their orbits directing us on the path of life, the template of which lies in your individual natal chart. Meanwhile, the inner planets such as Mercury, Venus and Mars as well as the Sun and Moon stir things up on a daily basis, though these will always tie into those long-term themes. Think of it as a symphony with Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto being the rhythm and bass section while the "innies" that comprise Mercury, Venus, Mars, the Sun and Moon, are the melody.

Another significant aspect this month that fits that description will be an opposition between Saturn and Uranus. This will occur on November 4th with retrograde motion facilitating encores on February 5 and September 15, 2009. Back in 1988 these two had a conjunction in Sagittarius that was a typical triple play that occurred in February, June and October. This would have kick-started a lot of what Pluto helped out with starting in 1995, as noted above. If you made any strides in your education level, engaged in any contracts (including marriage), deepened your core beliefs and redefined your view of the world, you can credit (or blame) this pair for kicking it off. If you were born roughly between April 17 - 20, this will have had an even stronger influence on your life.

This time the influence will be in different signs and houses as you'd expect, being as they're moving, albeit slowly. Saturn is in your 6th House of work and health and Uranus is in your 12th of spirituality, dreams, inspiration and, unfortunately, hidden enemies. This implies that there will be some interesting goings-on in this area of your life. Uranus is the planet of change, rebellion, and the unexpected while Saturn is all about hard work, ambition, authority, delays and boundaries. These two are about as different as two planets can get, and they'll be pitted against one another on and off for the next year. Expect to be in an on-going tug-o-war between your responsibilities at work and your desires to make major changes based on your dreams and aspirations. There will be various changes and your best bet is to harness this energy and make it work for you in the direction of your choice. So that's enough of the background music to expect for the next several months. Let's see what's going on in November with those "innies."

The first few days of the month Venus is going to position herself right between this Saturn/Uranus opposition. Venus, as you'd expect, is a "friendly" planet, but in this particular spot she's creating what is known as a T-square. She can be about your feelings for someone or something or about your finances, so one of these is going to be the fulcrum to a dialog between your job and dreams. She could even be offering you various pros and cons one way or the other, which should give you some good information to think about. Venus wants you to be happy, so she'll be encouraging you in that direction.

Around that same time and more than likely related, your thoughts will be weighing your various options. This won't be a superficial either-or exercise, but a deep consideration of where you are in your life. Relationships are going to have a heavy role and your core beliefs will as well. This won't last very long since Mercury moves quickly, but a major thought or decision could come at this time. About that same time, your Sign Ruler, Mars, gets into the action as well. He's hanging out in Scorpio, your 8th House, for the first half of the month, i.e. until November 16th. This placement will fire you up in a variety of ways which will include your libido, use of other people's money, and perhaps even drive you to some major personal transformation. In the latter case, it's going to tie into your group associations, friends, or hopes and wishes and your drive to accomplish them. There are a few things to look out for, however, as this isn't an easy aspect. Frustrations or obstacles are likely. If you've had any hopes and wishes that were unrealistic, that may slap you upside the head as well. This is not a bad thing, however, because if something is based on fantasy that simply ain't gonna work, you may as find out now as later when it bites you in the butt. The good news is that a Venusian opportunity in the relationship or financial area is right under your nose that can help those hopes and wishes become tangible.

The good news is between November 10 - 13 a bunch of stuff is going on that will bring you some good luck and opportunities that all relate to these same themes. An opportunity for an expansion in the career area is just waiting for you to make a move, with a lucky or favorable surprise on its way. This may be no more than a major revelation, but it will have a positive effect. Showing your stuff is going to bring benefits. Deep introspection and offloading some old baggage that will clean things up with those close to you, including your finances, are in there as well. Career opportunities are definitely out there, and if you've been unrealistic or foolish in any way, something is going to draw your attention to it around the 13th. Going along with this theme, the Full Moon in Taurus on that date will bring closure to something related to your possessions or finances.

Good news or useful information is coming your way mid-month, roughly around November 15 - 18. As expected, this is going to tie into the work-dreams dialog and bring some good luck and opportunities your way in that regard. Pay attention and don't let them pass you by. Again, if you've been fantasizing about anything you'll have your nose rubbed in it, but defining reality is a good thing. Expanding your responsibilities at work in such a way that enhances your career options will be a possibility around the 21st. Something could be handed to you on a silver platter that you should give serious consideration. Synthesizing your thoughts and expressing yourself are particularly favored on the 25th. This will be most noticeable with respect to your core beliefs, if you're involved in legal issues or academia, or if you're traveling or involved with another culture. The New Moon on the 27th will further emphasize this area, implying something new is coming. You're likely to be the center of attention, so play it for all it's worth. A surprise financial or personal opportunity is on the way as well. The drive to put these ideas into action will be especially strong on the 29th with some major career benefits coming forward as well. The month closes out on this theme, with a very favorable event related to your career or reputation.

November should not only keep you hopping but help you find some new direction in your life. Keep an eye out for opportunities, including new ways of looking at things. As a Cardinal Sign, sound decisions are something you make as a matter of course. This month the universe is giving you a lot of good information to facilitate that process.
