Lunations and Long-Term Aspects

This is your month, Pisces, as the Sun travels through your sign and ushers in your solar return, as he's done already for those of you born in February. The Full Moon this month is in Virgo, your 7th House of relationships, on March 10. This is a particularly interesting lunation in that it tightly entangled with that Saturn - Uranus opposition already in force. A Full Moon by definition is an opposition between the Sun and the Moon and tends to emphasize our emotions by bringing something to light. So the Moon, which rules your emotions, is already in your 7th House of relationships, but cozied up with Saturn. Saturn is all about responsibility, obligations, security, structure and often delays. Clearly these two could stir up some serious issues with no further help, but the Sun is there in your 1st House of personality in cahoots with Uranus, planet of disruptions, rebellion, unexpected events and sudden change. This implies that some major issues are in force that have a bearing on your obligations or security in one or more relationships and are going to affect you at the personal and relationship level. If your birthday is a few days one way or the other from March 9th this will have even more impact.

There are some important opportunities out there as well, which is typical as chaos tends to do so. Thus, rather than get too spun up at what's going on around you, be sure you keep a keen eye out for opportunities hidden in either some new information or your own thoughts that will reveal something formerly unknown, probably related to your work or health. Another opportunity is out there that relates to your financial situation. Expand your senses into realms that few others find as comfortable or alluring as you do and see what you can pick up. Most people are looking for answers these days and you may be able to provide a few of them and make some money off it as well. From March 6 - April 16 Venus will be retrograde in Aries, your 2nd House of finances, possessions, and pleasures. Venus in this condition excels at stirring things up that have been too long forgotten or neglected, which will further assist in finding something previously unknown or inaccessible. Sound good? Then pay attention, as no one is going to hand it to you on the proverbial silver platter.

Between March 14 - 31 Jupiter, your ancient sign ruler before Neptune's discovery, will be in an aspect known as a quincunx with Saturn. A quincunx is usually like a big, yellow Detour sign, indicating that some adjustments to our current course are required. A Catch-22 situation is often there as well, that forces us to make a few accommodations for whatever it is, like it or not. Jupiter is in your 12th House, which is Pisces' home base as the domain of dreams, imagination, inspiration, spirituality and hidden enemies. Thus, you're at home there and won't find it a problem as Jupiter works at expanding something going on in that part of your life. As noted earlier, Saturn is in your 7th House of relationships, so this implies that some adjustments are afoot in that part of your life as a result in your ability to access the next realm. Which direction this adjustment will take depends on your individual circumstances, but I think you get the idea, intuitive creatures that Pisces tend to be.

The New Moon on March 26 is in Aries, which, you've probably already gathered, is a busy place this month. A New Moon typically brings something new into our life, so you can see how all these aspects are working together as they usually do to effect changes and challenges that build up and evolve over time. The New Moon includes an extra power-boost toward unearthing something from yours or someone else's past that has been swept aside long enough. The implication with the New Moon in the same House as much of this other action is that by the 26th you will have figured out what was going on, or at least have some idea, and be moving toward some adjustments and changes that relate to the people you're closest to and your finances, possessions and possibly pleasures and indulgences. This can apply to your significant other or any individuals with whom you have a one-on-one relationship, such as business partners, close friends or relatives, or, if you're in business for yourself, your cliental.

Short-term Aspects

The month starts out with some news, information or thoughts that relate to all that other stuff rumbling around regarding your relationships that will give you a clue to not only what it might be but also that some tweaks will be required to your existing plans or situation. This may not come in a friendly manner, but could be the result of an action on the part of someone you thought was your friend but isn't. On the other hand, it could also come as a stroke of inspiration that you're driven to implement in an expeditious way. On the 5th even more inspiration is possible, though it could be so far out that you're in Lalaland before you know it. This will be the result of Mercury, ruler of communications, in conjunction with your modern sign ruler, Neptune. Since you're already imbued with plenty of Neptunian energy, you should be able to handle this event much more comfortably than others, though your attempts to express it will probably result in numerous deer-in-the-headlights looks.

Three days later on March 8th, Mars will take his turn interacting with Neptune, which could either cause any ambition to evaporate before your eyes or really light a fire under that inspiration that drives you to git 'r' dun. Later that same day expect a relationship issue to surface, if it hasn't already, that highlights a responsibility or obligation that you may have been neglecting lately. A few days after that, the Full Moon will jump right in there and kick start more action. On the 12th you can expect a major surprise that affects you personally, particularly if your birthday is within a few days of March 13th. In fact, if that's the case, you can expect an entire year of surprises.

Your expanding intuition could come upon some annoying bit of information relative to your checkbook around the 18th that could spell a great, big N-O to something you'd hoped to do. On the other hand, the next day an opportunity may come your way to do something you've wanted to do, but it will be through either a group you're associated with, your friends, or coworkers. If you're really lucky, this could fulfill a desire you've had for a while, but it will require some effort on your part to make it happen. About this time on the 20th the Sun will enter Aries, and the tides will shift a bit. More news of a surprising or disruptive nature is on the way on the 21st, which could simply be more information pertaining to that unexpected event back on the 12th. On the 22nd that Jupiter - Saturn quincunx is at its strongest, so if you haven't figured it out yet, now would be a good time to do so.

On March 23 the Aries Sun will square Pluto, which usually brings a crisis that reveals something that's been hidden, either by chance or deliberately. This is likely to have financial implications for you and relate back to those group interactions. On the 27th Mercury will square Pluto, bringing more information or thoughts your way relative to whatever broke loose a few days before. From then until the end of the month, more attention and information will continue to bombard you relative to that financial business that surely by now you have identified.

Clearly there's a lot going on this month with your relationships and your checkbook. Something you've been either trying to hide or ignoring will demand attention along with a few surprises. Things may be a bit more hectic than you'd prefer, but much is out there in your favor this month between all the planetary traffic in Pisces and their presence before that in your 12th House, both of which will enhance your intuition and understanding in such a way that discovering whatever it is you need to deal with and how to do so won't be rocket science. Pay attention, follow your instincts, and you've very likely to be pleased with what you discover.
