Expect a lot of action this month relative to your neighborhood or within a short distance of home as well as within your home itself. This, of course, includes, everyone who lives there. This is due to the fact that the Sun, Mercury and your Sign Ruler, Venus, will spend some time in Cancer this month. The New Moon on July 2 is also in this vicinity, which implies something new is coming along as well in your 3rd House, which includes thoughts, ideas, short journeys and your neighbors.

During the first week of the month, Mercury will square Uranus. At that time Mercury will still be in Gemini, your 2nd House of possessions, finances and pleasures while Uranus is in your 11th House of friends, group interactions, hopes and wishes. Mercury is all about communications and Uranus about surprises, so when you add all that up what comes out is something like an unexpected expense of some sort that originates with either a friend or perhaps an organization, such as your home owner association. The good news is about that same time you may get a more pleasant surprise relative to your career, which could involve some beneficial inspiration. Also in effect between July 3 - 9 is a nice, friendly trine between Venus and Uranus. At that time Venus will be in your 3rd House of home environment, which you could put to use as far as pleasant thoughts, getting to know your neighbors in a friendly setting, or coming up with some financially beneficial ideas, which you Bulls are usually quite good at. While Uranus can bring upsets, surprises, and unexpected events, when he's in a favorable aspect with Venus, this will hopefully play out as a pleasant surprise or disturbance that you enjoy, even if it wasn't expected. Remember that Uranus is in your 11th House, so this nice surprise is most likely to derive from your friends or group associations, though in this case it could also involve some of your hopes and wishes, which of course would definitely make you happy.

Also in effect early in the month are some activities in progress with Mars, Saturn and Pluto. This trio isn't exactly brimming with benevolence as a rule, though they can be very useful in getting things done. Mars bring along a lot of energy and Saturn's specialty is discipline, authority, and responsibility. These two are hanging out in Virgo, your 5th House of children, creativity, romance, entertainment and speculation, which right off the bat doesn't sound like a very happy combination. Mars and Saturn will be conjoined between July 3 - 18, which will combine their energies. You can put this to good use if you're trying to accomplish something in one of these 5th House areas that requires some serious drive and ambition. Until July 10th these two will trine Pluto, who's slipped back in your 8th House of other people's resources and transformation. Put this all together and you could wind up with a very meaningful experience of some sort, perhaps one that resolves old baggage from the past or simply offers some profound insights into one of those 5th House elements. In other words, it looks like whatever concerted effort you put into them will be greatly rewarded.

From July 9 - 19 the Sun will trine Uranus, which could bring a pleasant or beneficial bit of attention or inspiration from your friends or one of your associations, also in an unexpected manner. About the time that one fades out, Mercury takes over from July 20 - 26, which will reinforce this inspiration with some ideas of your own in how to put it to work.

Mars hasn't gone away, either, once he slips away from Saturn and out of range of Pluto. From July 21 - 31 he'll be trining Jupiter, who's in your 9th House of legal matters, higher education, long distance travel, politics, and religion. Jupiter is quite happy in your 9th House where he loves to help expand your horizons and interact with society in a variety of ways. Mars will bring creative energy to those areas, so if you've had any projects or ideas going in that area, you'll have some extra drive to make it happen. If you're trying to promote a belief or philosophy of some description, plan a trip abroad, or figure out a way to go back to school, you can get some serious mileage out of this aspect if you put some effort behind it. During part of this time, Mercury will be opposing Jupiter, however. This should throw in a few additional thoughts that may require some compromises or negotiations to resolve, but will undoubtedly be useful in giving you some more to think about, so not necessarily a bad thing. Note, also, that the Full Moon on the 18th also occurs in Capricorn, your 9th House, so this brings along some additional energy that implies a culmination of something that's been in-work for a while now. Frequently contracts close at this time, as well.

Toward the end of the month, i.e. from July 25 - August 5, Venus will oppose Neptune. This could bring about some conflicts between home and career. For example, you may have a major opportunity come along regarding your life's ambition or life's work, then something comes up at home that is equally important and you have to figure out how to manage the two choices. Venus is usually pretty friendly and usually pertains to relationships or finances in some way whereas Neptune can inspire us but can also be too idealistic or when he's really on bad behavior, create delusions or dissolve reality. In other words, there won't be a whole lot of logic going for you to solve this one, not that making some decisions with your heart is a bad thing.

For the entire month, slow-movers Uranus and Neptune are in a somewhat itchy aspect known as a semi-sextile. This ordinarily probably wouldn't be worth mentioning, except they're in what is known as a mutual reception, meaning they're in the sign the other rules, providing some extra resonance to it all. As noted earlier, Neptune is in your house of career and Uranus is in your house of friends and organizations as well as hopes and wishes. This looks like it could bring some useful connections your way. As you've probably already noticed in life, it's not what you know, but who you know, so I wouldn't be surprised if you benefit from something along those lines this month.

This definitely looks like a month that will be anything but boring. Mentally and physically, things should be hopping, both at home, in your neighborhood, and in your career. Some serious energy is out there to put into your creativity, activities with your children or love life as well. Most of all remember to use that planetary energy in the way of your choosing so it doesn't use you.
