The majority of zodiacal energy for Archers this July will be in your 8th House of sex, death and regeneration, transformation, and other people's money as the Sun transits that neighborhood until the 22nd, Mercury from July 10 - 26, and Venus through the 12th.  Thus, all three will leave their mark in one way or another, with that Cancer New Moon kicking things off on July 2.  This is probably the most intense House out there, so brace yourself for the month ahead.  This is not to say that it'll be unpleasant, only that you probably need to fasten your seatbelts to arrive safely wherever it is the Universe plans to take you.

For starters, it looks as if this month will contain several disruptions or changes in your 4th House of home environment.  This is because Uranus, planet of change, surprises, and unexpected events, is hanging out in that neighborhood.  This is nothing new, considering he's been there since March 2003, but if you look back over the past five years, you'll probably be able to recall various disturbances in this area, whether it's in the form of home repairs, issues with family members, or simply a hectic and unsettled lifestyle.  This month begins with Mercury throwing a square in his direction from your 7th House of relationships.  This aspect, which will last from July 1 - 9, implies that some kind of news or message related to someone close to you, whether friend, relative, business partner, or significant other, is going to create a disturbance of some description at home.  This will be followed shortly by a nice, harmonious trine from Venus to Uranus.  I don't know how much I want or need to say about Venus transiting your House of sex and transformation, so maybe I'll just stand down on that one and let you figure it out.  It could just mean you'll have a major revelation that will transform you way of thinking enough for the problem to go away.  Who knows?  As the month progresses, the Sun will throw a trine that way from July 9 - 19 and Mercury will follow suit between July 20 - 26.  With all those trines from major players, whatever the problem was early on should be solved before the end of the month.

Also during about the same time period, i.e. July 1- 10, Mars will trine Pluto.  But before we get into that, I probably ought to mention that Mars has a traveling companion, i.e. Saturn, who's also in your 10th House of career and reputation.  Saturn is a great disciplinarian who frequently represents the authority figures in our lives as well as reminding us of our responsibilities and obligations.  Put this in your 10th House and it looks as if you're going to be tangling with your boss; at best, he's going to have you under a microscope and possibly pointing out your every flaw.  Throw Mars, the god of War in that mix, and there's no telling what could result.  It could give you the energy to put forth your best efforts and alleviate and doubts or scrutiny from that corner office upstairs.  On the other hand, when those two planets form a conjunction between July 3 - 18, it may not be a pretty sight.

However, this is where that trine to Pluto may turn out to be quite helpful.  More than likely you've had your fill and more of this recently demoted planet who has just spent a decade or so messing with your 1st House, but this might actually help you out.  Pluto excels at forensics, and this is where you need to harness his energy as opposed to letting him harness you.  Worst case, if someone has had you under the microscope, this could be where they find any dirt you've been sweeping under the rug.  On the other hand, if you're squeaky clean and you bridle that energy properly, you should be the one finding out some interesting information that will bring the entire adventure to a successful close.

Jupiter, your Sign Ruler, has some interesting things going on this month, as well.  Jupiter is currently in Capricorn, your 2nd House of possessions, finance, and pleasures.  Since Jupiter is benefic and tends to expand what he touches, this House is a rather nice place for him to be hanging out.  Between July 14 - 20, however, the Sun will oppose him from your 8th House of transformations and other people's resources.  As the Sun cruises through that venue, he may be bringing you some significant insights and food for thought.  When opposite Jupiter, these should be enhanced even further, but there's likely to be a tug-o-war of sorts going on.  For example, with Jupiter in your 2nd House you may have been more extravagant than you should have been for the last several months.  If this is the case, the Sun in the 8th will call your attention to that in some way, making you realize that you need to tighten up your budget, get out of debt, and so forth.  Remember the New Moon occurred in your 8th House of transformation on the 2nd and on the 18th the Full Moon, which indicates a culmination, occurs in your 2nd House of possessions and finances.

From July 18 - 22, Mercury will oppose Jupiter, probably bringing either some news or data your way to reinforce what has already begun.  The good news, and hopefully the happy ending to all this, will come between July 21 - 31, when Mars trines Jupiter.  Mars, as you recall, is in your 10th House of career, and in a nice, friendly trine it appears that some extra drive on your part in your career could result in some financial benefits that could show the way out of those other challenges of the 8th House variety.  At least you can always hope.

By the end of the month, the Sun, Mercury and Venus will all be in your 9th House of legal matters, higher education, long distance travel, and beliefs.  If these things sound like home to you it's because they're all near and dear to an Archer's heart due to the fact Sagittarius rules the Zodiacal 9th House.  From July 25 - August 5, Venus will oppose Neptune, who's been floating along in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors and short journeys for a long time.  Neptune if good for inspiration, but not so good for common sense, and opposite Venus, you could come up with some highly romanticized idea that sounds good but won't hold water.  Venus in your 9th House should generally bode well for anything going on there, such as legal matters, involvements with academia, trips beyond the county line or even your belief system.  However, when she connects with Neptune, the master of delusion who does a great job of dissolving boundaries of all sorts, you need to be on the alert and make sure you read the fine print.  I recently saw a good quote that relates, but unfortunately can't remember the author to give proper credit.  To wit: Read the fine print.  Failure to do so results in experience.

As noted earlier, this is going to be an intense month.  Your Sign Ruler, Jupiter, is active and there's a lot of activity in your 8th House of transformations.  Some heavy duty planets are lurking in your House of Career and Pluto is back in your 1st House of personality.  None of this exactly adds up to what you'd call a bed of roses, but the outcomes look good.  Archers are intelligent and philosophical by nature and thrive on mental challenges.  Use that Fire Sign confidence and enthusiasm to take them on and you should rest easy on the other side.
