The emphasis this month will be in your 5th House of creativity, ego, children and romance as well as your 6th House of work, health/fitness and pets. The New Moon on July 2nd will also be in Cancer, i.e., your 5th House, which will initiate some sort of action in this area. This is an excellent time to start a new creative endeavor, get into a new activity with your children, start or renew a romantic interest or even concentrate on doing something for yourself. The Sun is in this neighborhood until the 22nd, throwing light and emphasis on this area, and Venus, Goddess of Love, is hanging out there as well until the 12th. Between July 3 - 9, Venus will trine Uranus, which will bring a pleasant surprise your way in this part of your life. However, during about that same time, Mercury will square Uranus, which could bring some news your way that affects your home environment in a disruptive way. As soon as those aspects fade out, the Sun will trine Uranus until the 19th, which will continue to bring unexpected but, in this case, most likely pleasant surprises into your life. About that time, what ever disruptive event came along should also resolve itself as that square eases into a nice, harmonious trine between July 20 - 26. So while the month may be somewhat chaotic for a time, when all is said and done everything should work out in a satisfactory manner.

Also worth noting is that for the entire month, Uranus will be conversing via a semi-sextile with Neptune, your Sign Ruler. The aspect isn't one that I usually look at too closely for large scale horoscopes, but in this case these two planets are in a configuration known as a mutual reception, meaning that each rules the house where the other is currently residing. This enhances the energy exchange significantly, and since Neptune is your Sign Ruler it's worth mentioning. This energy will stir up a few changes in your personality and how you see yourself as a result of some new inspiration and insights into your place in the cosmos.

Mars and Saturn are both in your 7th House of relationships this month. Saturn has been there for a while now, and probably has been living up to his reputation of being somewhat bothersome. Saturn is all about boundaries, restrictions, and responsibilities, so this stern task master has probably been rubbing your nose in these for a while. Mars will liven things up a bit, bringing his energy to that venue, but it could also bring along some contention as well. During the first week of July, Mars will trine Pluto, who's slipped back into Sagittarius, which represents your 10th House of career and reputation. If there's anything amiss or you have any unfinished business regarding your career or public image, Pluto will help you identify it and get it straightened out. With Mars in trine from your House of relationships, this implies that someone with whom you have a one-on-one relationship will be participating in this process. Remember that relationships in this context include not only your significant other but close friends and relatives, business partners, and so forth.

In addition, for a little over half the month, Mars will be hooked up with Saturn in a conjunction. Thus, Saturn will also get into the act and implies that this person will be either an authority figure or simply someone who will bring some extra discipline or wisdom to the situation. All in all, it sounds like a very favorable combination for working things out. Mars, Saturn and Pluto are frequently the bad actors of the zodiacal set, but in this particular situation my guess is that you'll have some welcome assistance in taking care of whatever it is that's lurking out there and requires attention.

From July 21 - 31, Mars will trine Jupiter in your 11th House, which will bring some new energy into your group activities, perhaps resulting in a new relationship from amongst those with whom you already associate. It could also be a favorable time to pursue any hopes and wishes you may have that relate to existing relationships. Remember that planetary energy is there for the using and if you don't direct it where you want, then it could turn up somewhere at random or simply dissipate, if ignored. The Full Moon on the 18th, also in your 11th House of groups, organizations, friends, hopes & wishes, will culminate an activity of some sort as well. One possibility could be that you get tied up in a new creative effort as mentioned earlier and you simply no longer have the time to devote to group activities or something else comes along that has the same effect.

The month ends with Venus opposing Neptune. Neptune tends to dissolve boundaries and can also cause delusions, though in his positive manifestation this can come out as inspiration. Venus will be in your 6th House of work, health/fitness, and pets at the time, while Neptune is in your 12th House of dreams, spirituality and hidden enemies. There's any number of ways that any aspect could play out and this is certainly no exception. Perhaps something very favorable will come along at work, but you'd really been thinking about quitting and pursuing something of a more spiritual nature. Or maybe you really want to get on a fitness routine, but there's not enough time to do both. The key here will be to negotiate a happy medium between the two; maybe your fitness routine could include yoga, which will also lend itself to spiritual renewal, or maybe some inspiration will help you find new direction at work. This aspect could also cause you to be unrealistic about a romantic relationship, so if that new relationship is in that category, don't make any major decisions with those rose colored glasses on.

This month the overall emphasis looks like it will be on people and your relationships with them in various capacities. Surprises and unexpected events will be a common occurrence, though the better part of them should be pleasant. There's some action going on with your work and career that the planets are trying to help you work out, so give it some serious thought and then put some action behind it. The planets will keep moving such that windows of opportunity close if not acted upon in a timely manner, so if there's something you feel need attention, don't put it off. You have a lot going for you this month so don't let it go to waste.
