There should be a lot of emphasis on your 2nd House of possessions, finance and pleasures for most of the month as the Sun makes his way through Cancer with visits at one time or another from Mercury and Venus as well. The New Moon is there this month, too, which usually serves to kick off a new activity of some sort. During the first week, give or take a few days, Mercury will square Uranus, who's been stirring things up in your 10th House of career and reputation for quite a while now. Since Mercury is in your 1st House of personality, it looks as if you're going to express yourself in a manner that causes some upsets in your career or with respect to your reputation. Knowing that Geminis like to talk, it looks as if you'd be well-advised to put a lid on it to some degree if you want to avoid any career problems or perhaps placing yourself in a bad light. There's always the possibility as well that this is a problem that will come along that you had nothing to do with starting, yet it will fall in your lap or affect you in some way. On the positive side, at this same time Venus will be trining Uranus from your 2nd House, so it appears that you'll still benefit in some manner, perhaps through an upset of some description. Remember that where there's chaos there's opportunity, so maintain a positive attitude and keep your eyes open.

During about this same time Mars will be closing in on a conjunction with Saturn, which will show up in your 4th House of home environment in some manner. Mars is all about energy, drive, and aggression and Saturn is all about responsibility, discipline, delays, boundaries and authority. These two combined can be very useful for getting things done and with the two of them in picky Virgo, it will also be useful if whatever that project happens to be involves paying attention to detail. If these efforts require some detective work, all the better, though if you have anything that's been swept under the rug relative to your relationships, this could very well relate to getting that straightened out once and for all. Pluto has slipped back into Sagittarius, your 7th House of relationships, and the ones most likely to be targeted will be those on the homefront. Bear in mind, however, that the 7th House includes all one-on-one relationships, not just your significant other and close family members. It also includes close friends and business associates, though with this connection with your home environment it appears more likely it will involve family. Pluto will be in a trine, which is generally an harmonious aspect, though these three planets are frequently seen as less than friendly, so there's no telling what will happen when they get together. Hopefully they'll manifest in a positive manner, though if someone goes off on a power trip of some sort, this will probably be the cause.

Between July 9 - 19th the Sun will trine Uranus. This may be a continuation of all that career and finance activity that started in the first week of the month. As a trine, it also appears favorable, though it's hard to guarantee that when Uranus is involved, since he's the planet of upsets, surprises and unexpected events. This is not to say that it won't be a pleasant surprise, but you never know. As this aspect fades out, Mercury will take over, likewise trining Uranus, which should bring about some favorable news in the career department. All in all, it looks as if your career and checkbook will be on your mind a lot this month with all sorts of things going on that you should pay attention to.

From July 18 - 22 Mercury will oppose Jupiter, who's in Capricorn, your 8th House of sex, death and regeneration, transformation, and other people's money. Needless to say, that ought to be interesting. Jupiter tends to expand and sometimes exaggerate things, and with Mercury, your Sign Ruler, in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, and short journeys, where he's very much at home, your mind should be even more active than usual. While some sort of activity involving your neighbors or neighborhood is possible, this combination for a Gemini indicates some grandiose ideas will come along that will have a major impact on your life. Just barely overlapping this, from July 21 - 31, Mars will trine Jupiter, which will throw some drive and energy into it all and also tie into your home environment again. The Full Moon on the 18th will be in Capricorn, also, throwing some culmination energy toward all this. If something has been in work for a long time in this area, this indicates that it's finally time to "git 'r' dun."

From July 25 - August 5 Venus will oppose Neptune. Venus is throwing pleasant vibes in your 3rd House of thoughts and ideas, which should be helpful if you're trying to promote a new idea of some kind. This will make you received in a positive way with others receiving you in a favorable way. Neptune is chugging along over there in your 9th House of legal matters, higher education, long distance travel, and beliefs. Neptune can lean pretty hard toward idealism and in cahoots with Venus this could very well manifest as a strong desire to hug everyone you see and sing Kumbaya. It could be inspiring in some way as well, though negotiations will be required somewhere along the line along with perhaps making a choice of some kind.

For the entire month of July Uranus will be in a somewhat itchy aspect known as a semi-sextile with Neptune as well. This wouldn't be that significant except for the fact that these two are in what's known as a mutual reception, where each planet is in the astrological sign the other one rules, which drives the energy level up a few notches. You've probably noticed how much Uranus has come into various other planets this month and with him in your 10th House, this is simply more energy being directed at that area. As noted earlier, Neptune can be idealistic or, to put it more bluntly, unrealistic, and he can inspire as well as deceive. With Neptune in your 9th House, as noted earlier, this could throw some interesting elements toward all that career action, particularly if you look at the kind of things the 9th covers, such as legal matters, beliefs, long-distance travel and beliefs. Uranus can stir up rebellion, as well, so maybe you'll get fed up with it all and decide to go sell shrimp under a bridge so you'll have more personal time. At any rate, Geminis aren't the kind who ever let any moss grow under their feet, so I'm sure it will keep you busy and perhaps guide you in a slightly different direction than you've been traveling in the past.

In summary, this looks like a month when your career and public image is going to see a lot of action. Your already active mind will be going at about 800 GHz with some ideas excellent and others inflated or unrealistic, necessitating a heavy dose of that Air Sign logic you have tucked away for just such occasions. Your finances are going to see some action and all of this collectively is going to have a fairly strong influence on your life in some way. You'll be anything but bored, which for Geminis is usually a good thing.
