Moon Void of Course Table

Lunations and Long-term Aspects

This month the Full Moon occurs in Pisces, your 10th House of career, reputation, and public image.  A Full Moon typically indicates a culmination but not necessarily an ending; frequently it's simply the completion of a given phase, which appears to be the case since the New Moon on the 18th contains very similar themes.  Some of the aspects to consider include a square between Mercury and Mars which are in your 5th and 2nd House respectively.  This indicates that there will be some news or ideas coming your way relative to your creativity, children, romantic interests, ego, entertainment or speculations.  These are generally pretty favorable parts of your life and if you're a creative sort ideas will be soaring.  The square to Mars, however, implies that something is going to get in your way, probably of a financial nature.  Mars in the 2nd House sometimes indicates trouble with your possessions with them breaking down or being damaged in some other manner.  It could also indicate considerable drive on your part with regard to this area of your life.  However, this combination seems to say that something you'd like to pursue is going to be hindered due to issues with your finances.  There is nothing indicating that this obstacle is insurmountable, but it will be in your way nonetheless.

Another aspect is an opposition between Saturn and Uranus.  Saturn is in you 4th House of home environment and Uranus in your 10th House of career and reputation, which probably sounds familiar since it's the same location as the Full Moon.  These planets are quite antithetical so it figures that they would be in opposition because they are, anyway, by their very nature.  Saturn is all about stability, responsibility, structure, obligations, delays, and hard lessons and he's camped out in a position that's affecting your home environment.  More than likely things there, whether the people or the physical environment itself, have been reminding you of your obligations on a regular basis.  This is not necessarily unpleasant, but you've been very aware of the responsibility you have and have probably had to perform various duties lately that prove it.

Uranus, on the other hand, is the planet of rapid change, unexpected events, rebellion, surprises, and innovation and he's in your 10th House of career.  Uranus has been there for quite some time, so this is nothing new.  There's a good chance that you've bounced around a bit over the past several years, since March 2003 to be exact.  This does not necessary mean that you've changed jobs a lot, though it could.  It could also mean that it's been one surprise and disruption after another or just a full-out hectic pace that never seems to end.  Thus, it's very possible that Saturn is trying to put the brakes on all this and instill some stability so that your homelife can be more peaceful and predictable.  This could involve a choice of some sort, however, that could even tie back to the previous aspect between Mercury and Mars; you may have a career opportunity or idea that feel very comfortable and less erratic, but the money won't be nearly as good as what you're making now, creating a rather difficult dilemma.

Another aspect to consider is a quincunx between Neptune and Saturn.  Neptune is in your 9th House of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, legal matters, relocation, long-distance travel and other cultures.  Neptune inspires us and takes us to other dimensions of thought and experience but can also dissolve what he touches into a giant puddle of confusion.  He, also, is antithetical to Saturn.  Jupiter has also been in this particular house and he expands what he touches so between the two of them you could have a giant bubble that is full of vision and idealism but doesn't contain a lick of common sense.  A quincunx indicates a change of course or adjustment so depending on what you've been doing lately, it's time to shift your thinking.  If you've been too responsible, it's time to dream, and if you've been too dreamy it's time to be responsible.  Knowing how intelligent Geminis are I'm confident you'll be able to figure out which one applies to you.

There's another quincunx between the Moon and Venus with Venus in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, short-journeys and siblings.  Venus rules both material possessions and relationships so your thoughts have probably been dwelling on those areas a lot lately.  The Moon is about our emotions and if you're not emotionally satisfied with your work or current status, you are probably thinking about ways to improve that.

Yet another aspect comprises an opposition, even thought the orb is fairly wide, between Mars and Pluto.  There's a lot of energy and power associated with these two who can definitely cause trouble if you don't keep an eye on them.  On the other hand, they can imbue us with a lot of drive and unearth hidden prospects.  As noted earlier, Mars is in your 2nd House of finances, possessions, pleasures, and needs while Pluto is in your 8th House of transformations, shared resources, sex, death and taxes (how apropos).  This could be as simple as the drive to make a major purchase that is going to require a loan.  At any rate, this lunation should give you plenty to think about.

The New Moon on the 18th is in Virgo, your 4th House of home environment, implying something new is coming to this area of your life.  This lunation has some very interesting aspects that all imply changes.  The New Moon, which by definition comprises both the Sun and Moon, is also conjunct Saturn and Mercury, which at that time will be retrograde.  This doesn't look particularly cheerful but rather emphasizes a new phase of responsibilities and obligations at home; Uranus in your House of career is opposing them all, so whatever this new phase happens to be it will come upon you suddenly or in an unexpected manner.  With Mercury retrograde you'll be rethinking previous plans and more than likely devising new ones.

Neptune is in there, too, throwing a quincunx to the Sun, Moon and Saturn, which will deliver some idealized beliefs that will provide a change of course.  Those idealized beliefs could also manifest as a relocation, going back to school, or some other similar pursuit.  Neptune is opposite Venus, which will further influence your thoughts but make sure that your inspiration isn't no more than delusion.  Pluto is trining Venus, an aspect that will allow you to see things differently than you ever have before.  A transformation of some description is in work that is going to have a positive influence on your thoughts and ideas.  However, Pluto is also square the Moon, Sun and Saturn, so that transformation is likely to hail from that surprise event or situation on the home front.  Thus, you'll have a lot going on related to home and your career or public image this month.

Daily and Short-term Aspects

September 1 - 3:  Frustrations about something you'd like to do which probably has something to do with your home versus the resources available will be on your mind during this time.  Career considerations will be in there, too.  Now is a good time to remind you that nothing is impossible; create it in your mind first.

September 4:  Full Moon today as described above.

September 7 - 10:  Mercury goes retrograde on the 7th.  This is your Sign Ruler we're talking about here so expect to feel it more than others.  Moving forward with any ideas will be difficult if not impossible.  Now is the time to edit, rethink and re-plan.  Remember not to buy anything electronic or mechanical, either.  Mercury rules communications as well as moving parts and automobiles so they're not going to be very happy, either.  You'll start seeing things differently today, either with regard to your finances or perhaps a relationship, which relates to resolving something from the past.  Be cautious about being unrealistic about either.  Pluto goes direct on the 10th, helping see the path beyond those old issues; expect more irritating thoughts related to the situation at home.

September 11:  Time to examine your current beliefs in light of any new circumstances and consider a change of course.  Creativity should be enhanced to help define where to go from here.

September 12 - 14:  Responsibilities related to home and idealistic beliefs aren't in synch and require some adjustments.  Make sure you're not tripping over your ego.

September 15:  Surprises related to your career will stir up more related to those home responsibilities.  Just remember that the lotto is a tax on those who flunked math.  It will be hard to focus today in spite of all the reasons you need to be able to think clearly; doing so isn't likely but it isn't you.  Gathering ideas, dreams, and information together is favored as it relates to needed changes but not a good day to make decisions.  Remember Mercury is retrograde so examine the data carefully and rethink previous paths without expecting to move forward until the middle of next month.

September 16 - 17:  Thoughts about home and money are still as irritating as sand in your shoe.  Keep examining those beliefs as well as any options on the platter such as going back to school, relocating, or any connections you have with other cultures; legal matters are possible as well.  Whatever is going on careerwise will be highlighted in some manner today.  A deep, transformation change is brewing related to someone or something that may come about as a result of seeing something you'd previously missed or information coming your way from someone else, perhaps your kids or romantic interest.  Those home responsibilities are going to be glaring at you as well.

September 18:  The New Moon occurs today and Mercury backs into Virgo, helping you reconsider those home issues.

September 19 - 21:  The trend continues regarding home though Venus comes into the world on the 20th which will help in a variety of ways, either to communicate more easily with family members or even show the way toward some financial assistance.  This is an excellent day for finding what you missed earlier regarding future plans.  Expect to start seeing things entirely differently, perhaps due to those annoying limitations.

September 22 - 23:  The Sun goes into Libra on the 22nd, highlighting your house of creativity, children, entertainment and romance.  Continue to restructure your plans relative to home.  Another day for various "Aha" moments.  More news on the career front or related to your status or reputation.  Time to adjust those beliefs and expectations some more, remembering to use that Air Sign logic to contain any illusions.

September 24 - 30:  Time to really hunker down and determine what the new course is going to look like.  It's okay to think big, but make sure you know how you're going to handle it.  Mercury goes direct on the 28th, so it's time to get ready to move forward, though true progress won't occur until mid-October.  Once you make up your mind, start watching for opportunities.
