Lunations and Long Term Aspects This month the Full Moon, which typically denotes an ending or culmination, even if only to move into a different phase, occurs on November 2 in Taurus, your 2nd House of possessions, needs, pleasures and finance. Its position suggests that some adjustments or a change of course may be called for, especially since Mars, your Sign Ruler, is forming a T-Square with the Sun-Moon opposition. A T-Square bring tension of some sort and in this case it will probably relate to your 5th House of children, romance, creative endeavors, entertainment and speculation. The Sun is conjunct Mercury in Scorpio, your 8th House of sex, death, shared resources, and transformation bringing not only emphasis to this part of your life but a flow of news or information related to it that will tie in with those other elements, i.e. your finances and whatever is vying for your money. So far that isn't a very happy lunation, unless it is indeed an ending where whatever has been sapping your resources will no longer being doing so. One potentially positive element derives from Venus who's happily residing in Libra, your 7th House of relationships, which she rules in addition to Taurus. She is making several contacts which are potentially positive including a trine to both Neptune and the asteroid, Chiron. Neptune has been chugging through your 11th House of friends, groups associations, hopes, and wishes for a long time and he will come out of retrograde on November 3rd. His influence tends to be a illusive and ranges from inspirational insights to downright delusions. While retrograde this was internalized, but once direct these dreams and visions will have a better chance of manifesting. The trine to Venus will harmonize nicely with Neptune's inspirational side, perhaps enhancing a relationship or bringing one closer to what you've been hoping for. Chiron's involvement could dissipate some old hurts with a healing effect. Venus is quincunx Uranus, planet of sudden change, freedom, and disruptions, who's in your 12th House of dreams, transcendence, inspiration, confinement and enlightenment. A quincunx indicates a change of course or adjustment and considering the house placements and meaning of the two planets, one possibility for all this Venusian activity could be suddenly falling in love or perhaps the renewal of an existing relationship. Venus is also forming a T-Square but with the Lunar Nodes, further indicating a life changing experience that will affect your home life and status. The opportunity for something new to come into your life is definitely beckoning. If romance in a new or existing relationship is going to be the focus this month, the square between Saturn and Pluto could easily indicate committing to someone, which will involve resolving something from your past that may have been keeping you from this step up until now. Your status is in flux right now and Pluto is definitely doing what he can to help unearth old issues so that they can be swept clean and provide a new start. Pluto is located on your 10th House cusp, or MC, which includes all aspects of your public image including your career, reputation, and community status. One way to view "status" in the context of this House is to think of the various titles and labels we collect throughout our lifetime. For example, you may be a student, graduate, homeowner, husband or wife, parent, elected official, or licensed business owner. Chances are good that when you fell into that role something was going on in your 10th House. If you get promoted on the job or fired, married or divorced, your status changes. If any of these types of events or roles have caused issues which are as yet unresolved, then Pluto is going to help you change all that. In fact, if you've had a bad experience with any such things, they may be preventing you from assuming more responsibility in your relationships. This would be very typical of this Pluto - Saturn square, given their House placement. So give it some thought to determine if that applies to you, then see what's going on around you to help resolve it once and for all. Thus, the Full Moon this month looks like it's about relationships. This may not be a romantic relationship, however. It could just as easily involve a close friend or relative, business partner, or if you're in business for yourself, your cliental. In this last case, it's an excellent time to build your business through some creative marketing to help bring it to a higher level and thus increase your income. Since every planet, sign and house provides several choices, there are multiple delineations for every aspect and even if it's not specified here, if you do the mix and match routine on the options you'll find that one of them fits your situation. The New Moon on November 16th is in Scorpio, your 8th House of intimate relationships, death, other people's money, debt, and transformations, indicating something new is coming your way in one of these areas. This is further reinforced by the fact the New Moon is sextile the North Node, indicating the opportunity for something new to come into your life that will affect your status, which was explained earlier. In fact, there is a Sextile Pattern that also ties in Uranus, indicating something unexpected that could relate to your dreams may be a factor as well. This could relate back to those relationships issues indicated by the Full Moon or could also tie into something like buying a house or something else that you've been striving for. This will not come without some hard work and challenges, however, meaning this won't necessarily fall into your lap with no effort on your part. That Saturn - Pluto square is still in effect, in fact, nearly exact, for the New Moon, which further emphasizes any difficulties related to resolving old issues, but Saturn is also sextile Mercury in the 9th House, indicating opportunities to think things through, take a closer look at your beliefs and expectations, and find the answers you seek. The chances of encountering some significant life changing events are particularly strong if your birthday is within a day or so of April 12th. Short Term/Daily Aspects November 1 - 2: There's a lot of energy tied up in your ego expression, creativity, romantic inclinations, desire for entertainment and speculation with information coming your way that could change how you see things due to a deeper understanding. Unexpected insights that have a strong effect at a spiritual level are possible. The Full Moon occurs on the 2nd as described above. November 5 - 7: Information that has a transformational effect is possible and will relate to your sense of responsibility toward those close to you. There will also be shades of the past taunting you with memories of something you haven't entirely resolved. Venus goes into Scorpio on the 7th, enhancing your love life and/or finances. November 8: Your obligations will be vying for attention today. It's a favorable time for expanding upon your networking activities, particularly as they relate to achieving your fondest goals. Those unresolved past issues may make an appearance, perhaps due to an annoyance concerning your commitment or lack thereof to a relationship. There will be an opportunity to make progress is this area if you're willing to let something go. November 10 - 11: During this time consider what is holding you back from achieving your goals and what you need to do to reverse it. Expect sudden insights or inspiration to help you, including recognizing anything that was unrealistic. November 14: More insights into how you've been sabotaging yourself are possible. Take time to relax and absorb it, then consider making some needed changes. This can be a day of transformations if you're paying attention. November 15: Mercury goes into Sagittarius, your 9th House of beliefs, expectations, long-distance travel/relocation, higher learning, and legal matters, facilitating communications in these areas. It's time to get a grip on how past issues are jeopardizing your close relationships. If you've been unrealistic in any way it's time to confront that and resolve it as well. November 16: New Moon today as noted above. November 19 - 21: Romantic entanglements are likely, either the pursuit of a new interest or intensification of an existing one. Flashbacks to previous relationships and whether or not you're ready to commit again will bother you periodically. If you're doing any financial speculation today, be cautious. The Sun goes into Sagittarius on the 21st, bringing emphasis to your beliefs, expectations, and those things of a philosophical nature. Travel or relocation is also likely during the next month. November 23: Expanding your circle of friends and associates may present a challenge or two. If your aspirations are growing by leaps and bounds due to a recent transformation, you may find yourself excited but slightly uncomfortable at the same time. Time to look at your beliefs and expectations as they apply to any past issues and determine if they were simply out of whack, setting you up for disappointment. November 24 - 25: Opportunities to expand a relationship or take it to the next level will present themselves today as the result of a sudden flash of inspiration or enlightenment, perhaps as a result of recently sorting out your past. November 26: An excellent day for philosophical discussions, except for the verboten ones such as politics and religion. Focus on your beliefs and expectations. You may tend to get a bit carried away with what appears to be the fulfillment of your dreams. Enjoy them for what they are but don't expect it to last forever. November 29: A good day for networking, gathering information to plan for the future, and socializing. Direct your energy toward creativity and enjoying yourself and dissipating old paradigms that no longer serve you. November 30: Expect the unexpected today, including the sudden urge to break free and pursue your dreams NOW. Your mind will be actively pursuing your dreams and what it will take to get there.
