This month your mind will be particularly active along with the possibility for short trips and lots of action on the home front as the month progresses. There is also a long-term aspect kicking into gear this month that will be running in the background until around your next birthday or so. The outer planets, including Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, are the real drivers behind where are life is heading. They move slowly and deliberately and sometimes quietly, but they have significant influence upon us. The Sun, Moon, and inner planets such as Mercury, Venus and Mars, move a lot faster and have a more noticeable effect on daily occurrences, though in reality these "innies" are actually acting as emissaries of the "outies" in executing your life's master plan.

That said, Saturn, planet of restrictions, delays, discipline, authority figures (including your father) and responsibility, is currently in your 1st house of personality. If your birthday is around September 10 - 14, you will probably be feeling this during this month. You may feel as if you're stuck in the mud or overwhelmed with responsibility, your obligations, or that you're being picked on by your boss, parents, or anyone who has authority, even cops, so watch your driving habits. In addition, Uranus, planet of surprises, disruptions, rebellion, unexpected events, and innovation, is hanging out over there in your 7th House of relationships. This is likely to stir things up to a remarkable degree, which you've probably already been observing for quite some time now. The trick this month is that these two big boys are in opposition to one another.

If you think about it you'll notice that these two planets are very diverse with one all about structure and stability and the other one is very unpredictable and about spontaneity and rebellion. Thus, factoring in the relevant houses, something inside of you is urging you to be more stable while the people you're closest to may be encouraging you to lighten up and be a little bit crazy, which is definitely out of character for most Virgos. Remember that relationships in the zodiacal context include all one-on-one interactions, not just your significant other. Close friend, relatives, business associates and so forth are also included.

This opposition is going to be exact on November 4. Another sometimes dirty trick of the outer planets is that they go retrograde a lot, which means these aspects don't necessarily move on their way as you'd expect. In other words, this opposition will initiate something that resembles a conflict between you and someone close to you, but come February 5, 2009, when the aspect occurs again, you're going to have something come up that you're going to be thinking real hard about. Then come September 15, 2009, you should have things all figured out and be moving on. Planner that you are, you've probably already written them in your PDA or planner, to check on my predictions if nothing else. Thus, this is an ongoing issue of some description and won't be ending anytime soon.

On November 3rd, Venus is going to park her pretty planetary butt in your 4th House of home environment, right between Saturn and Uranus. Venus is generally pretty friendly and usually brings good fortune, particularly as it pertains to finances (since she rules Taurus) and relationships (because she rules Libra). Both of these will have a positive effect on your home environment and also create a stabilization point for whatever is going on with you personally and close relationships, as described earlier. This implies that whatever crap is going on is outside your home, that things will be relatively pleasant there and represent a haven of sorts. Remember that she's functioning with that ongoing opposition between Saturn and Uranus.

Also on November 4th, Mercury will sextile Pluto. Unless you're an astrologer that doesn't mean squat, so let me explain. Mercury, your Sign Ruler, will be in your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, and short journeys. Pluto is also in your home environment, and Pluto is the zodiacal roto-rooter who find any hidden dirt or problems that are holding you back and then rubs your nose in them so you can take care of business and move on. A sextile is a favorable aspect, so this will present an opportunity or something positive. Most likely you'll come upon some data that reveals something related to your home environment that will allow you to clear something up and then move forward happier and healthier (at least mentally) than you were before. That same day, Mars will square Neptune, which has numerous possibilities. One relates to the possibility that you've been fooling yourself in some way, perhaps with respect to a project or even or job, and something is going to occur that gives you a sanity check. Another possibility is that something is going to come up in your neighborhood or even in your thoughts that clashes with an ideal you've been hanging onto. I'm sure you'll figure out what it is.

About that same time, on November 5, Venus will sextile Neptune, which gratefully is a positive aspect that usually bring an opportunity. Neptune can mean delusion or illusion, but it's also loaded with inspiration and idealism. Venus, being the friendly little goddess that she is, and hanging out in your 4th house of home environment, this has the potential for some very pleasant inspiration that pertains to improving your home in some way. On the other hand, on the 7th, your creativity as it pertains to this newly conceived home project, may be met with some opposition in the form of an annoyance of some sort. Never fear, it won't last long, and it probably won't have any more effect than you allow it to have.

November 10 - 11, the Sun is going to be throwing some positive energy toward the opposition between Saturn and Uranus spoken of earlier. In addition, lucky Jupiter will get into the act and expand upon it in what should be a positive way. Jupiter is in your 5th House of creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation, which should be a rather pleasant visit, if you ask me. If there's a conflict going on between you and others in your life, perhaps your children will create a bridge that eases any disharmony. If you don't have any kids, this could just as easily represent a romantic interest. On November 12 when Venus is conjunct Pluto, something that has been swept under the rug or hidden in some other way should come out, but in a positive way that allows you to resolve it, once and for all.

Jupiter is throwing some good fortune your way on the 13th that will relate to your children, lovelife, entertainment, creativity or ego expanding in some way that has a positive effect on one or more relationships. That same day the Sun will square Neptune, which is another one of those aspects that might bring a reality check. If your work has been interfering in your home life, or you have a project regarding your home that's a bit out there, that will become apparent at this time. The Full Moon on the 13th occurs in Taurus, your 9th House of long distance travel, beliefs (including politics and religion), legal matters, and higher education. A Full Moon usually indicates the culmination of something, which will relate to this particular house. It will either end or enter a new phase.

From November 16 - 17 Mercury, your Sign Ruler, will be giving you an extra dose of data, again regarding that personal versus relationship issue. The aspects are positive, so take heart, and Jupiter, who's doing good things for your creativity, children, romance, and so forth, will be involved as well. Mercury will also square Neptune on the 17th, another opportunity to gather data and information in whatever form it may come regarding that idealistic project or work issue. Also note that Neptune is in your 6th house of work, health and pets. This could also relate to a health issue, an illusive one, and this could mean you finally get a handle on what the problem is, paving the way to resolution.

Jupiter will trine Saturn on November 21, which will bring some additional energy of an harmonious nature to those self-imposed limitations. In other words, you may see at least of glimpse of some payoff for all your hard work to this point, or come up with an idea that will bring you some very positive attention. On the 25th a rush of ideas or data related to your home or home life will come your way, so take note. The New Moon on the 27th is also in your home environment and will herald something new in that area. On the 28th it looks like something pleasant is coming related to your love life. Another possibility, if you have children, is that they'll offer an opportunity to start or renew a relationship in a good way.

On the 29th something will happen related to your home life that will get you fired up. Hopefully this will be a new idea or some information that really gets you fired up and motivated to pursue. It could mean an argument, perhaps a significant one as well. However it manifests, work with it the best you can to turn it in a positive direction. On November 30, friendly Venus will trine Saturn. This is another positive aspect that implies another payoff for your sense of responsibility, either via increased respect from a romantic interest or your children, or perhaps a benefit of some kind related to your creativity. On December 1, some very good luck or something of a positive nature should come to pass again with regard to any creative projects, your children, or love life. It's also a favorable time for speculation or to simply go out and have some serious fun.

Another long-term influence that's kicking off this month is Pluto moving into Capricorn on the 27th. This may have a ring of déjà-vu, which makes perfect sense since it happened once already this year in January, but due to retrograde motion he returned to Sagittarius for a spell to take care of some unfinished business. The unfinished business again relates to your home environment and as he moves into your 5th House of creativity, children, romance, entertainment, and so forth, you'll notice an entirely different flavor. Pluto in the 4th can cause all sorts of stuff, from plumbing and electrical problems to family intrigue and even cockroach invasions. In your 5th, he could stir your creativity in a deep and transformational way or reveal things about yourself, children, or lovers that you didn't know before. Overall, his influence there should be much more comfortable and beneficial and even give you considerable advantages in those areas as Pluto can really deepen your perceptions and understanding.

Obviously, this is going to be a busy month in a variety of ways. There's a lot of action regarding your home life and your mind is going at about 800 gHz. If you have kids, they'll also be a major part of your life. Expect the next year to emphasize personal and relationship issues with an entire series of daily occurrences that play into this theme. And remember you just had a solar return not too long ago, so you're entering a new cycle from that as well. May the Force be with you.
