This month has two major themes, one of positive thoughts and communications that results from Venus and Mercury as conjoined travel companions and another related to that Mars - Pluto opposition that culminates in a Cardinal Grand Cross with the Full Moon on the 21st. Knowing how much you enjoy information and intellectualizing, the links in that first sentence alone should keep you busy for a few minutes. The month begins with that Venus - Mercury pair making a somewhat itchy aspect to your Sign Ruler, Jupiter. The good news is that Venus and Jupiter are generally benefic and Mercury is usually neutral, so it's nothing much to worry about. Since Jupiter is currently residing in your Natural 2nd House of possessions, finances, and pleasures, which should have an overall positive effect on such things, this might be no more than a minor annoyance or nuisance that comes along relative to any decisions you need to make in that area. It could be as simple as having to decide between two investments that are both doing fairly well, yet you don't have enough money to invest in both. At any rate, it shouldn't be onerous, just a blip. It's also worth noting right up front, that starting the first part of March and continuing on past the middle of June, Jupiter will sextile Uranus, which should bring various opportunities your way which are likely to relate to your 4th House, which comprises your home environment. If you've been wanting to remodel or redecorate, now is undoubtedly the time. This could be enhanced by the first stop that Venus - Mercury team will be making, i.e., a conjunction with Neptune between March 3 - 13. Mercury is all about our thoughts and communications as noted earlier and Venus brings positive vibes that include peace and security whereas Neptune is very stimulating to our dreams and imagination. Thus, if remodeling or beautifying your environment is on your list, this combination should be especially helpful, even inspiring, since it's occurring in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors and short journeys. Needless to say, these pleasant vibes would also apply to planning a nice weekend away someplace different or to having a neighborhood get-together to celebrate the fact that spring is almost here. During approximately this same time period, give or take a day or two, the Sun will conjoin Uranus, which will provide even more impetus for change around your home, though it could also facilitate a surprise or unexpected event of some sort. Uranus is very unpredictable by nature and it's hard to make the call whether such an aspect will be good or bad. In either case, it's likely to be unexpected and possibly dramatic, so be on the lookout during this time. Given that this event is occurring in Pisces, it could very well be at the spiritual level as opposed to physical, or simply tie back into the inspiration noted earlier. The New Moon on March 7 occurs in this same neighborhood, so is lending further energy to something new at home. The next stop for Mercury and Venus will be a sextile to Pluto between March 11 - 18. Pluto slid into your 2nd House of possessions, finances and pleasures toward the end of January and his function is somewhat like the Zodiacal Molly Maid. He will sweep out and clean every corner, including all that dirt that's been swept under the rug, in which case he's likely to shake it out right in your face. There will be no secrets left by the time he's finished, though that won't be for several years yet. Nonetheless, this is what is considered a "soft" or positive aspect that should bring some opportunities and the timing is while the traveling duo moves from your 3rd House of thoughts and so forth into your 4th of home environment. Thus, it appears that you'll have an opportunity via some good ideas of your own regarding how you might clean up your abode. Thus, if you suddenly find yourself motivated to go on a cleaning frenzy in the attic or garage, you have this astrological team to thank for it. Or rather, maybe your significant other or domestic partner will be the one doing the thanking. Next on the itinerary for our traveling pair will be a trine to Mars between March 12 - 21. By then Mars will be in Cancer, which has the effect of watering down his fiery nature quite a bit. This is your 8th House of sex, death & regeneration, and other people's resources. A trine is another positive aspect, and this could help motivate some improvements in these areas as they relate to your home environment. Transformation is another key word for the 8th House, so this could be of a physical nature as well. This could mean anything from your sex life being reborn to finding a good home equity loan to finance your home improvements. At any rate, it should be a good thing. Mars delivers energy and in this Water Sign his aggression should be significantly dampened. Moving right along, our happy couple's next stop will be a bit more serious, which will be an opposition to stuffy Saturn. Note that this will take place between March 13 - 20, so will overlap the trine to Mars. Saturn is currently hanging out in Virgo, your 10th House of career and reputation. This appears to indicate that you're going to have something going on with your career that is going to interfere in some manner with all this stuff you want to accomplish on the home front. Gee, that never happens, right? Wrong! Conflicts between these two venues are nearly a daily occurrence, but this looks like it's going to be a little stronger than usual. Not much you can do about it other than to know it's coming and do your best to roll with the punches and not let it bother you any more than necessary. And this is where we may as well face the music and go into some of the negative stuff that's out there for March. The month starts out with an opposition between Mars and Pluto, which will be in effect until around the 18th. However, in reality, this is going to continue on a bit longer and actually get worse before it gets better. Sorry, I don't drive the planets, only try and provide warning of what they're up to. The house placement for this lies between your 2nd House of possessions, finances and pleasures and your 8th of sex, death & regeneration, other people's resources, etc. As previously stated, there's some good stuff going on relative to your finances and investments, but there may be some old issues to need to take care of first. You be the judge of that since I'm not your accountant, only your astrologer. Another thing to look out for is possible accidents, which are quite common when Mars and Pluto get together in hard aspect. Theft is another possibility, so make sure you secure your belongings properly and don't invite trouble. About the time you'd expect this opposition to start fading, the Sun gets into the act right between the two of them, effectively tying them together again with your creativity, children, lovelife or ego somehow in the middle of all this at the apex of a T-Square. These keywords should be ringing a bell for you so I won't try to map out all the different scenarios because I imagine you can get the picture on your own. Another zinger in this astrological vignette is the fact that the Full Moon on March 21 occurs in your 5th House as well, indicating a culmination of issues in this venue is likely. That's all well and good, except the Full Moon creates that Cardinal Grand Cross mentioned earlier. Cardinal signs generate a lot of energy. If you think about having four people in a room who are all strong leaders with entirely different personalities trying to promote their own agendas for a single line item on the budget, you can get the general idea. With the Moon in Libra, your 11th House of groups, organizations, coworkers, friend, and hopes & wishes, this implies something from that venue is going to jump into all these other things going on with your lovelife, children, finances or all of the above. Again, do the math, as you know the details of your life and I don't. About all I can say is bon chance. The good news is that the Moon will move along quickly and this should be an ending as opposed to a beginning. The Sun will maintain contact with Mars in a square from March 25 through April 5, but that should be the last of the conflict between your 5th and 8th houses, or children/lovers/creativity and sex/death & regeneration/other people's resources for those of you with short memories. Between March 22 - 25, the Sun will throw a quincunx to Saturn over there in your house of career, which will probably stimulate any adjustments required in that area. Not to be forgotten, Mercury and Venus will make one final stop between March 24 - April 2, which will be a visit to Uranus. Here's another big-time conjunction in your home environment. Remember that Uranus is the planet of surprises, unexpected events and change, but on the positive side Mercury and Venus may very well make this a pleasant event. It may represent a bit of a conflict or crisis at first, especially if your birthday is around December 16 - 21, but hopefully the end result will be good. Needless to say, this is a busy and probably eventful month. There will be a lot going on in your home environment, career and possibly with your possessions and finances. You don't like to be bored and more than likely you won't have to worry about that this month. There's a fair balance of good things and challenges, so it's up to you to tip the balance in your favor. Aries|Taurus|Gemini|Cancer|Leo|Virgo|Libra|Scorpio|Sagittarius|Capricorn|Aquarius|Pisces |
