This should be a busy and interesting month for Libras as Venus, your Sign Ruler, interacts with several planets. Of further interest is the fact that she'll be traveling in fairly close proximity to Mercury, the communications and data magnate. As a logical Air Sign, who likes both data and information, this combination should be very stimulating and favorable for you. The two planets will be making virtually the same aspects to the other planets along the way and during roughly the same time period, which will enhance the effect. Nonetheless, it's somewhat of a mixed bag this month, as you're about to find out. The first week of the month the Venus - Mercury pair will be in your Natural 5th House of creativity, children, and love affairs from which they'll be making a somewhat scratchy aspect with Jupiter, who's currently residing in Capricorn, your Natural 4th House of home environment. This implies that events of some sort might escalate at home and interfere in some manner with your children, creative efforts, love life, or possibly no more than your ego. Considering that the planets involved are generally pretty friendly, this is likely to be fairly inconsequential and may well pass unnoticed. As the happy pair moves forward, their next stop will be to pay a visit to Neptune, who's also hanging out in your 5th House. This will mean a conjunction, which is one of the strongest aspects out there, and can be either good or bad, depending on the planets and house involved. Considering that most of them are fairly good, and that this is taking place in your 5th House, this looks as if it could be rather pleasant. Neptune can bring inspiration and insights, which are very welcome in your house of creativity. They're pretty nice with your children and love life as well. One caution, however, that Neptune can also be the master of deception. What you see if not necessarily what you get, so enjoy it for what it's worth, but don't get a second mortgage on your primary residence in order to finance any ideas that come along unless you have a firm business plan to go along with it. Kapeche? As the pair continues their orbital jaunt, their next contact as they slide into your 6th House of work, health and pets, will be a sextile to Pluto, who's back there in your 4th with Jupiter. A sextile generally brings an opportunity and is also considered a soft (or favorable) aspect. The energy mix is a bit unique, but could certainly work. Pluto tends to be the Zodiacal Molly Maid, and as such has quite the knack for finding anything that's been swept under the rug. This could be behavior, feelings, or even consequences, that have been buried without adequate resolution. Needless to say, this involves past events as opposed to present ones. Bottom line, Pluto is making the grand sweep of your home environment and will be doing so for several years to come. While he may shake a rug or two out in your face to make a point, nonetheless, your house will be clean and spotless when he's finished. The question is how do past events tie into the Mercury - Venus pair who's moving out of your house of creativity to your house of work, health and pets and create an opportunity? You're going to have to answer this one, since it would obviously be impossible for Whobeda to make the detailed, individual call for every Libra on the planet. Maybe you'll simply be doing your spring cleaning and find something hidden in the attic that will inspire your creativity and allow you to save the day at work in some way. Maybe you'll be able to work from home and turn one of your hobbies into a job. Who knows? Sorry, but you're going to have to figure out the finer points of that one yourself. So, moving right along, from there our dynamic duo moves into Pisces. Worthy of note is the fact that the New Moon will also occur in Pisces on the 7th, implying something new regarding 6th house issues, i.e. work, health and pets, in case your memory can't quite reach back as far as the last paragraph, and may require an adjustment of some sort on your part. Meanwhile, Mercury and Venus will take turns throwing a nice, harmonious trine between March 12 - 21 to Mars, who's in your 10th House of career and reputation. Mars in the 10th implies some real energy and drive being directed at your career and this trine will bode well as far as communicating your ideas and making a favorable impression. Overlapping this timeframe, from March 13 - 21, however, the now-famous pair will oppose Saturn in your 12th House of inspiration, dreams and spirituality. As the name implies, an opposition usually generates a tug-o-war of some sort. Saturn is all about boundaries, authority, responsibilities and obligations, and this will be directed toward that house of work. This is likely to facilitate some heavy thoughts regarding your job, though it could also be no more than a sanity check of some type. Now is as good of time as any to step away from Mercury and Venus for a while and talk about what's going on with some of the other planets. A long-term aspect is forming between Jupiter and Uranus, which is going to last until at least the middle of June. This is another nice sextile, which as you recall, indicates an opportunity. Uranus is known as the planet of surprises, unexpected events, and change. This aspect relates somehow between the homefront and work and will represent a surprise of some sort. At any rate, it's likely to be a good thing, so keep your eyes open as it may require some action on your part to bring it to fruition. Between March 4 - 14, the Sun will be conjunct Uranus, adding a lot more energy to any changes or surprises events out there just waiting to happen. All of this energy going in that direction is likely to stir up something, so be prepared. So far it's apparent that there's a lot going on between your home and job. Making that even more likely is that Mars - Pluto opposition that will be in effect starting March 1 - 18, though there will be other influences joining the party that will extend the effects into April. To start with the opposition, as you recall, Pluto is housecleaning in your 4th house of home environment. Mars starts the month in Gemini, but moves into Cancer, your 10th house of career and reputation, on March 5th. We've already seen some action coming in the workplace, so now it's coming in your career as well. This is probably as good of place as any to explain the difference between a career and a job. Your career is how you leave your mark on the world, or what you're known for. This is not necessarily how you earn your paycheck. You may be a brilliant artist or musician, yet have to work at McDonald's in order to pay the rent. Get the picture? Okay, that said, Mars will be throwing some definite energy and drive into your career, but Pluto is working at cleaning up unresolved issues at home. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that home and career or natural enemies, and I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that something is already going on between these two venues. Fast forward to March 18 - 25 when the Sun will step in-between Mars and Pluto. Simply stated, this is right around the time that the Sun enters Aries, your polar sign. This will create a T-Square, which will throw a personal touch to all this, but will also pull your relationship into the home-career fray. As if that's not already interesting enough, on the 21st, the Full Moon will take place in this same vicinity, which is likely to indicate a culmination of some type. For that event, the Sun will be in Aries, the Moon, in your sign (Libra), Pluto in Capricorn and Mars in Cancer. I point this out because these are the four Cardinal Signs and as such will throw even more energy and motivation into each of these venues. They also represent the "angles" as far as Libran Natural house placement is concerned, and also represent considerably more power than the other houses. With the Moon in your 1st House of personality, you're likely to express your will or be personally affected in some manner. Sometimes Librans have a hard time defending themselves, so this could come into play here. Try not to worry too much about being fair to everyone else and consider what you want and deserve as carefully as you would for someone else. In other words, be as fair to yourself as you are to everyone else in your life. Back to the Full Moon, that will create a Grand Cross, which will conduct a considerable amount of conflict to these important areas of your life. Since Full Moons generally herald a culmination, hopefully this will mean you've found a solution or at least a peaceful compromise regarding whatever has been going on in these key areas. As the Sun moves along, he'll connect with Saturn in a quincunx between March 22 - 26, which may bring a few reminders relative to various responsibilities at a deeper, more spiritual level. This may further reinforce any revelations that may result from the Full Moon. From March 25 - April 5, the Sun will still square Mars, but his hold on Pluto will diminish and the Moon, of course, will be well on her way by then. The Mars square may emphasize any conflict between your relationships and career, though these may only be within yourself and may not be open discussions. Hopefully, by the time the square fades into oblivion, all will be solved. Back to the travels of Mercury and Venus, between March 24 - April 2, they'll be interacting with Uranus. As you may recall from above, Uranus is the planet of change, unexpected events, and surprises, and conjunctions can be either good or bad. As these two wade through Uranus' neighborhood, hopefully it will generate some interesting news of either a financial or romantic nature. Since this is occurring in your 6th house of work, maybe you'll get an unexpected raise or make a new friend. It's likely to necessitate some adjustments on your part, but will hopefully be something you'll like. Obviously, most the action this month involves your job and career with some heavy influences from home as well. It's likely to be hectic, but this will be more on the mental and emotional side than physical. Some important decisions will have to be made, but it's likely that you're going to be happy when you get to the other side.
