This month the Sun will be hanging out in your 11th House of organizations, groups such as friends and coworkers, as well as the hopes and wishes department. Mercury and Venus will also be wandering through that area at sometime or another during the month. The New Moon occurs there on July 2, implying a new beginning of some sort as well. Therefore, if there's something you've been wanting to get started in this particular area of your life, this is a good time to do so.

During the first ten days of the month, some unexpected news at work will affect one or more of your close relationships as Mercury squares Uranus. Mercury, which transmits ideas and data of all sorts, will be in your 10th House of career and reputation until July 10th, while Uranus, planet of unexpected events, change and surprises, is in your 7th House of relationships. Conversely, something could occur in a relationship that will affect your career, but one way or another, expect some activity in these areas that tie into one another. Also remember that the 7th House comprises all one-on-one relationships, including close friend and relatives and business partners along with your significant other.

During this same time period, Mars, Saturn and Pluto will also be having a tête-à-tête. Both Mars and Saturn are in your 1st House of personality, which will be throwing a lot of drive and ambition your way. While this can be a good thing as far as accomplishing things, it can also make you a bit aggressive or bossy, which can annoy the hell out of anyone who has to be in close proximity to you during this time. So, if you notice that people tend to avoid you or give you hostile looks, consider your behavior before automatically blaming them. Virgos tend to be critical and blame others by nature, but this is one time when you need to take a hard look at yourself before jumping the gun. Mars and Saturn will get together into a conjunction between July 3 - 18, which will combine their energies in a very focused manner. This is great for accomplishing something, but again make sure you don't walk all over someone or something that can bite you later.

From July 1 - 10 Pluto will get into the game as well from your 4th House of home environment. Remember that one of Pluto's raison d'êtres is to help uncover issues that need attention. Thus, if there's anything going on at home that needs to be brought to the surface and addressed, the fact that Pluto will be trining all that drive and ambition going on with your personality should bode well for getting it identified and solved during this time. Ordinarily, this trio of planets aren't the friendliest out there, but in this case they'll be helpful for getting things done.

During about this same time period, i.e. from July 3 - 9, Venus will trine Uranus. As noted earlier, during this time period Venus will be Cancer, your 11th House of groups, friends, organizations, hopes and wishes. This is a rather nice place for her to be, especially when you have all that energy in your 1st House of personality since this will help these people in your life view you more favorably during a time that it would be easy to think you're a jerk. A trine is a friendly aspect, so this implies something good is coming that you don't expect regarding either a new or changed relationship with one of these friends or associates. Remember that relationships in this context include all one-on-ones, whether it's a close friend or relative, business associate, or your significant other. Thus, it looks as if someone from one of those 11th House venues is about to become more important in your life than they were previously. From July 9 - 19, the Sun will take over and trine Uranus, with Mercury doing the same for the week following that, so if you missed what was happening before, it will be hard to miss now. Remember that New Moon on the 2nd indicated something new was coming, and the planets don't lie.

From July 18 - 22, Mercury will oppose Jupiter, who's over there in your 5th House of creativity, children, romance, entertainment and ego. This looks like you may have a tug-o-war of some sort going on between expanding something related to your creative expression and your group involvement or interactions. This could be as simple as having your child or significant other want you to do something with them at the same time you'd prefer doing something with your friends. At any rate, you'll probably have to choose between one or the other relative to something during this time. From July 21 - 31, Mars will trine Jupiter, which will be a nice, friendly boost toward getting something done that will have a positive effect on those creative urges. It could also bring some extra drive that relates positively to your children, love life, or simply enjoying yourself in some other manner. The Full Moon occurs in Capricorn, your 5th House, on the 18th, which should bring a culmination of some type to this area as well.

For the last few days of July and into the first week of August, Venus will oppose Neptune. Venus will be in your 12th House of inspiration, spirituality and dreams, which is a rather nice placement, but when she opposes Neptune you'll need to watch out for delusions. Neptune is over there in your 6th House of work, health/fitness, and pets, which are among Virgos' favorite things. Neptune can also be quite inspirational, but he's often not based in anything even remotely related to reality, so if you get some inspiration that pertains to your job or even your health and fitness, don't take it too seriously without doing some serious research on it and giving it some of that good ol' practical Virgo scrutiny, which you'll probably do anyway, but I'm just making sure.

This looks as if there's going to be a lot going on for you in the social and relationship area as well as work. For the most part it looks pleasant, and you'll be enjoying a lot of drive and ambition toward accomplishing your goals, which should feel really good. Endeavors are favored as well as activities with your children, romantic interests, hobbies, or other areas of creative expression. The potential to get a lot accomplished is out there for the taking, including resolving something on the homefront that's been brewing for a while. The planets are giving you a helping hand in several of these areas, so zero in on what you want to accomplish and go for it.
