This month there will be a lot of activity in your 12th House of dreams, inspiration, and spirituality as the Sun moves toward your 1st House of personality, which he'll enter on July 22. The New Moon on July 2 occurs in Cancer, i.e. your 12th House, which will introduce a new beginning in this area. During the first ten days or so of the month you can expect a surprise or change that will affect the way you think about a few things, such as your group interactions, coworkers, friends, or even your hopes and wishes.

Also in effect at that time will be some significant activity in your 2nd House of possessions, finances and pleasures as both Saturn and Mars congregate in that area. Saturn has been there since last fall, grinding away on your sense of responsibility pertaining to these things, and may not have been exactly what you'd call a stellar experience. Mars bring a lot of drive and energy, and with him slipping into Virgo to join Saturn on July 1, he's likely to start something. This won't necessarily be a bad thing, but he's going to stir up something, which could range from some extra incentive to get this part of your life in order to a means for doing so. From July 1 - 10, Pluto will get into the game as well from your 5th House of creativity, children, romance and entertainment when he trines Mars and Saturn. Fortunately for you, a trine is a nice, harmonious aspect, even though these three planets individually aren't usually known for their benevolence. Nonetheless, they are quite necessary and useful in our lives.

Pluto, as I've mentioned numerous times before, is the Zodiacal Roto-rooter. Just as a reminder what this means, if there's anything hidden or buried that requires attention, he'll dig it up and present it to you in a way that's hard to ignore. He hung out in your 5th house for quite a while, slipped into your 6th House of work and health briefly around the first of the year, and has now backed into Sagittarius again due to retrograde motion, where he'll be until around Thanksgiving. This gives you a few more months to take care of any remaining business relative to your creativity, kids, or lovelife. If any of these outstanding issues also relate to money, your possessions or even how you enjoy yourself, they'll be brought to your attention during this time and it would be in your best interest to resolve them. If this part of your life is in perfect order, then this aspect will not even be noticeable as it comes and goes. This, actually, is true of all of them. If the energy simply doesn't apply to you, it won't ever turn up on your radar.

During that same time period, Venus in your 12th House of spirituality, inspiration, and dreams will throw a nice, harmonious trine to Uranus in your 8th House of transformation, which has the potential to be a very uplifting and potentially life-changing experience of some description. It could also indicate a financial windfall, though this isn't likely enough to justify spending your entire paycheck on lotto tickets, no matter how much you enjoy gambling. As the month progresses, from July 9 - 19, the Sun will take over with some more harmonious energy directed toward transformational change, with Mercury getting into the act by stimulating your spiritual and inspirational senses between July 20 - 26. So, with all this action in these you can bet that something pleasant and uplifting is going to occur this month that you'll remember for a long time.

Toward the end of the month, from July 21 - 31, Mars will trine Jupiter. Jupiter usually bring luck and expansion and he's currently in your 6th House of work, health/fitness, and pets. He's another one who doesn't move very quickly, so he's been there for a while, i.e., since last December, and will be there until January 2009. Thus, he's been working on this part of your life for the past six months with about six more to go. If there's anything in this part of your life that you'd like to ramp up, he's there to help you during that time. This month, while Mars throws a trine his way, you'll have a burst of energy and drive to tie these efforts in with your finances in some way, so if you've been wanting to change jobs to increase your income, ask for a raise, or something along those lines, this is a favorable time to go for it. It's also a favorable time to start into a health and fitness program that is not only practical but enjoyable as well. Another possibility is a project of some sort, perhaps a hobby, that will bring you enjoyment and possibly some extra income. Whichever strikes your fancy, make it work for you. During part of this same time period, Mercury could be throwing some extra inspiration in that direction as well, though it may create a tug-o-war of some sort in your beliefs regarding what seems the obvious thing to do. In other words, some food for thought. The Full Moon is also in your 6th House on the 18th, implying the culmination of something in this area as well.

During the entire month, Uranus and Neptune will be in a somewhat scratchy aspect known as a semi-sextile. This wouldn't be quite so important except for the fact that these two planets are also in what is called a mutual reception, in that each one is in the Sign the other one rules. This synchronizes the energy exchange in such a way that it will have more effect than usual, especially with it lasting the entire month. Uranus, as mentioned earlier, is in your 8th House of transformation and Neptune in your 7th of close relationships. This implies some significant changes in how you see your relationships with one or more people. In addition, from July 25 until August 5, Venus will oppose Neptune, which will also affect one or more close relationships. Venus is another planet that usually brings good things your way and Neptune inspires our dreams, though it can also keep us from seeing reality. During this time, your perception of your relationships may be overly romanticized or you may not be seeing them very realistically. On the other hand, changing your view of them is likely to have a lasting effect. However, don't make any major decisions regarding them at this time.

This month there's a lot of action of an inspirational or spiritual nature as well as in your financial or material realm. There will also be some experiences that will make a significant impression on you. Something is going on as far as your work or health is concerned, that will also tie into your finances is some way. The Sun moves into Leo on the 22nd, so you're getting into your solar return period as well, which means a new cycle is ramping up with some phases ending and new ones beginning. It's a good time to ready yourself for change and look forward to the year ahead.
