Over the next several months and years you're going to see various trends, thanks to the placement of the outer planets. Pluto changed signs into Capricorn in January, and Saturn moved into Virgo last fall. Pluto has been messing with your life for the past decade or so, and you should be noting some relief or a lighter feeling than you've had before. Of course it lasted for so long, you may not have quite gotten past it yet, but probably will in the months to come. Pluto is all about transformation and while we all change as the years go by, a decade or more with him in your Natural 1st House of personality is going to be felt. Your sense of personal power will have changed and any area of your life that was ridden with issues that required change have been at least identified, if not resolved, by this time. The good news is that Pluto moves slowly enough that you don't have to worry about this happening again in your lifetime. Thank the heavens for small favors.

Now that Pluto is in your 2nd House of possessions, finances, and pleasures, he'll be reconstructing those areas of your life. Saturn is in Virgo, your 10th House of career and reputation. Pluto and Saturn will be in trine for all of April, which is likely to create some harmonious correspondence between these two areas of your life. Best case could be a career change that has a favorable influence on your finances. Saturn is currently retrograde (RX) so most of this action will be at the unconscious level, but will float to the surface around the first week of May. Perhaps it's time for you to take more responsibility, either in your career itself or perhaps in directing where it's going. If you're not working to your full potential, you'll probably figure out how you could improve in that area, or may see where you've held yourself back in some way in the past. If you're not satisfied with your life style or financial picture, there is undoubtedly a connection between the two that you'd do well to identify.

Working with you this month is a sextile between your Sign Ruler, Jupiter, and Uranus. Jupiter is all about expansion and increase, and he's also in your 2nd House, so this should be having a positive effect on your possessions and such. A sextile usually heralds an opportunity of some description and since Uranus is the planet of change, surprises, and unexpected events, more than likely whatever comes along will come out of the blue and take your by surprise. Uranus is currently in your 4th House, which comprises your home environment. This includes your family, early upbringing, past lives, and physical home. He's been there for a while now, since March 2003 to be exact, and if you reflect back over the past five years you'll probably be able to create a pretty long list of weird and unexpected crap that has occurred on the homefront during that time with about two more years to go. So the good news is at least the end is almost in sight. In spite of all the things that were disruptive and annoying, this aspect should bring something good your way that will involve the expansion of your finances and a change of some sort at home. Perhaps you'll be able to take advantage of the depressed real estate market and obtain a larger home or something else will occur such as an opportunity to work from home and make some extra money. At any rate, keep your eyes open and pay attention so you recognize it when it comes along.

It's most likely to surface around the middle of the month when Mercury gets into the act. Mercury in Aries tends to make us a bit too direct and perhaps even tactless in our conversations, to say nothing of getting angry more easily, which probably doesn't take too much for a Sag. However, when Mercury moves into Taurus after the 18th, you should get a better grip on things and be able to muster the control and determination to get it solved. Creative ideas are likely to flow, followed by the determination to put them into action and make them work. This will require effort on your part, but should be entirely within your ability. The Sun is in Aries until the 20th, your 5th House of creativity, children, lovers and ego, which will bring light and emphasis to this area of your life. The New Moon occurs there on April 5, indicating something new is on the way.

The first half of the month could bring a conflict of some sort, perhaps of a financial nature, but the key to solving it will be your creativity. This implies that it won't be an easy, intuitively obvious solution, but something you create that is a new and different approach to whatever the problem happens to be. Be prepared to put on your thinking cap and use your gifted intellectual abilities to solve it. Sometimes Sagittarians can be all intelligence and no brains, so make sure you include an appropriate dose of common sense as well. Neptune will be throwing some inspired thinking your way during about this same time, but make sure you wash it in reality sufficiently before accepting anything too outlandish as your panacea. The Full Moon on the 20th falls in Scorpio, your 12th House of inspiration, and could also indicate a little extra help finding an inspired solution.

There could be an event relative to your career or reputation that requires an adjustment to your thinking, perhaps due to a delay of some sort, the first few days of the month. This should be resolved around the 20th or so as your thoughts stabilize and you understand your responsibilities more clearly, allowing you to put forth the required determination to correct the problem. Be more careful than usual between April 8 - 13, when the likelihood of accidents or other problems will be higher than usual. Mars has been in Cancer, your 8th House of sex, transformation, and other people's resources since October, though he backed into Gemini for a while due to retrograde motion. Thus, problems in your 8th house venues or with your relationships while he was in Gemini, have probably been rumbling around for several months. Arguments are likely, but the last few days of April and the first few of May should bring an opportunity to solve the problem. These events are likely to push you toward some major changes in how you view the affected areas of your life, however, such that you'll see things differently from now on. This is where experience comes from and as they say, Good decisions come from experience, and experience comes from bad decisions.

Friendly Venus starts the month in compassionate Pisces, which should help soften your thoughts somewhat. When she moves into Aries on the 7th, however, that compassion is likely to evolve into the tough-love department, particularly if something you didn't know about at home comes along, perhaps involving your children or lovers. What this smells like to me is perhaps your children or lover either broke something or spent some of your money behind your back and you'll be less than enchanted about it when you find out, which is likely to happen between April 5 - 10. Male - female conflicts are especially likely between April 20 - 30 in any venue. The month should end on a positive note, however, when Venus, Saturn and Pluto get into a nice, harmonious Grand Earth Trine the last two days of the month. This should connect all these issues regarding your kids and/or lovers, career and reputation and your possessions or finances on the same page and on the way to resolution.

This promises to be a lively month, not that the life of a Sag tends to be boring. There quite a bit of transformation in work relative to your finances with increased responsibility emphasized in your career and changes and disruptions still on the agenda at home. Opportunities are out there and if you work at your communication skills a bit, you should be able to solve many of your current problems by the end of the month.
