Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon this month falls on the 15th in fellow Water Sign, Pisces, your 5th House of creativity, ego definition, romance, children, entertainment and speculation. Clearly this is a rather pleasant place for you to watch for something new. A conjunction between Mercury and Uranus is in effect at the same time and within a degree of the New Moon, giving it even stronger influence. These two are likely to bring you unexpected news or some sort. If your birthday is within a day or so of November 18 this is likely to have an even stronger influence which will be of a positive nature since the entire quartet will trine your Natal Sun. This is truly the time to start a new creative endeavor or pursue something else that suits you in that 5th House realm. Besides that Mercury-Uranus conjunction there are some other aspects in effect. Some caution exists due to the fact that Saturn, who's in Libra, your 12th House of enlightenment, spirituality, inspiration, dreams, confinement, hidden enemies and institutions, is opposing the entire New Moon quartet. Saturn is also retrograde, a time when old baggage is being assembled in your subconscious for resolution sometime after Saturn goes direct, which will be May 30. Thus, whatever that new thing that comes along may be and regardless of how pleasant it may appear, some reserve and caution is advised. This is not to say that it will turn out not to be good, only that it's going to affect something lurking around in your 12th House that is going to need to be addressed and resolved in the coming months. There is some help out there, however, from your ancient ruler, Mars, who is in positive aspect to both the New Moon quartet and Saturn. Mars is in Leo, your 10th House of career, public image, status, and reputation. Remember that broad turf covered by the term "status" which is most easily described as any title or label that can be placed upon you. It also pertains to marriage, divorce, promotions, demotions, and any other situation that affects how you are viewed by the public. Mars comes out of retrograde on March 10, a few days before the New Moon. Mars retrograde nudges us to take care of some unresolved issue, something we should have acted upon previously but didn't for one reason or another. Once he goes direct, it's time to get busy and take care of business. The implication in all this put together is that taking care of whatever is lurking there will have a favorable effect on that new situation in your 5th House and also appease Saturn as well with regard to any responsibilities that need to be assumed. Responsibilities as they relate to the 12th House are a bit difficult to define, but if you look over what it comprises as noted above, something will probably ring a bell. The Full Moon on March 29 occurs in Libra, your aforementioned 12th House. A Full Moon indicates an ending or culmination, which of course implies that you successfully take care of whatever was lurking there. Your ancient ruler, Mars, is still lending some assistance from 10th House of career and public image. However, there's some potential for conflict with someone of the opposite sex, possibly at work, which is going to represent a challenge. Inspiration for dealing with this situation is there, however, from within your home environment, so look there for possible solutions. Your modern sign ruler, Pluto, may provide some insights and understanding at a deep level or perhaps uncover some information that you'll be able to employ in the situation. This may not be especially good news, but on the other hand, the more information you have, the better prepared you'll be to take care of business, whatever it may be. All in all, this Full Moon has some challenges, especially for those of you with birthdays right around November 2nd, but you should be able to handle it with a few adjustments, even if they're a bit annoying. Daily and Short-Term Aspects March 1: Mercury goes into Pisces, your 5th House of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation which will facilitate communications in those areas until March 17, so put it to good work during the next two and a half weeks. Some adjustments to your career goals or other status issues as described above are also appropriate today. March 2: Adjustments due to a Catch-22 or other issue are worth consideration. If you have any self-defeating behaviors or habits, that's a good place to look if one isn't already apparent. March 3: Look for a big surprise today that has a high likelihood of relating to romance. If you have children, it could also relate to them, particularly any daughters. March 4: Deep, probing thoughts are possible today that you can probably put to good use, so tune in accordingly. March 7: Venus goes into Aries, your 6th House of work, health, service and pets, which should have a favorable effect until the end of the month when she goes into Taurus. She is also trining Mars, which should have a positive effect on your work and career situation in one way or another. This doesn't necessarily mean a major change in that area but may relate to finding something you'd love and want to pursue. Remember that Mars is retrograde in your House of Career for a few more days, motivating you to resolve something in this part of your life, though it could relate to some issue regarding you status as defined earlier. Your creativity should be blossoming today as well, so be sure to use that in your considerations as well. March 9: Finding a livelihood that is satisfying and enjoyable may depend on how you manage your responsibilities toward self-satisfaction. There is also the issue of how many extraneous things you've brought into your life which need to be supported and keep you from changing jobs. What price are you willing to pay in order to do something you love? March 10: Mars goes direct today, giving you the green flag to start addressing those career or status issues. March 11: Give some deep consideration to what your options are. Delve beneath the surface beyond those superficial answers or excuses, as the case may be. March 14: Your creativity will be strong today, so put it to good use. Something may also come to light with regard to your children or romantic interest. March 15: New Moon today as described above. March 17: Expect the unexpected today. Mercury goes into Aries, opening up ideas and communications with regard to your work, health or service as well as your career and status. If you're looking for something that brings you more satisfaction, maybe it lies outside your day job or normal activities, such as volunteer work. March 18: Thoughts or information toward conquering any self-defeating behaviors are available today. You may also find out that someone in the workplace is trying to undermine you and is not the friend you thought they were. March 20: The Sun goes into Aries, bringing emphasis to your work, health and so forth. Finding hidden information with regard to what's going on at work is also favored. March 21: A very favorable day for pursuing career ambitions or a new direction. What do you need to give up to make it work? March 22: Opportunities are out there to take positive action toward what you want to achieve. If you've been putting something off that is for your own good, get to it today. March 25: Something previously hidden will come to light today, possibly related to work or your health. March 29: Full Moon today as described above. March 31: It's time to make a few adjustments and pursue a change of course. Inspiration is there, perhaps right under your nose there at home.
