Lunations and Long Term Aspects This month the New Moon on March 15th is in Pisces, your 12th House of inspiration, enlightenment, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and the collective consciousness. This is what I usually call the "woo-woo" house and is somewhat antithetical to what Aries is all about. If your birthday is within a day or so of April 15, this is more likely to be noticeable. The aspect the New Moon system will make to your Natal Sun if you were born around then is a semi-sextile, which usually brings an annoyance of some sort. This, of course, isn't terribly surprising since Aries will find most of what Pisces contains a bit of an annoyance anyway. I really suspect this will be one New Moon that will pass unnoticed, but just in case it hits one of your Natal planets, here's what you can expect. Bear in mind that New Moons usually bring something new into you life. First of all, there is quite a cluster of planets in Pisces for this lunation. Not only are the Sun and Moon conjunct, which of course is the definition of a New Moon, but Mercury and Uranus are in there as well. Uranus is not a planet to be trusted. He is all about sudden change, the unexpected, rebellion and disruptions and conjunct Mercury this is likely to come in the form of news or information, though with them both in Pisces, this could come as a revelation at the spiritual level. However, remember that the 12th House also includes such lovelies as hidden enemies, confinement and institutions, so you can do the math on that based on anything lurking in your past that may come out and bite you. In other words, if you have any unpaid traffic violations, don't be terribly surprised if you wind up in the slammer. The possibilities for something like that occurring are further increased by Saturn, the planet that rules authority figures, who is opposite all four of them, i.e. the Sun, Moon, Uranus and Mercury. Saturn is in Libra, which tends to be fair, but also houses lawyers, so be warned. The fact that Saturn is square Pluto, who's lurking in Capricorn, isn't exactly fortuitous, either. Pluto is the zodiacal roto-rooter who digs up old issues that weren't properly resolved, so clearly his place in all this isn't likely to be pleasant. The good news, however, is that your Sign Ruler, Mars, is out of retrograde as of the 10th, and he's in favorable aspect to Mercury and Uranus and also Saturn, so hopefully he will mediate any problems that arise. He is in your 5th House of ego expression, creativity, entertainment and speculation, which implies you can use your usual Aries charm to your advantage in this situation. One other thing to look out for is the minor involvement of Neptune, who rules Pisces and tends toward delusion. Jupiter is also hanging out in Pisces, and he tends to exaggerate, so the message here is not to overreact to anything until you get all the facts. Of course I've mapped out the worst-case scenario when I use the "J-word," i.e. jail. In all probability unless you've done something really bad, that won't be a problem. Confinement and seclusion can be self-imposed, so maybe something from your past will simply come back to haunt you and you'll want to be left alone for a spell while you work things out. Or, on the other hand, as I mentioned in the beginning, this may be one that comes and goes unnoticed. Keep your fingers crossed. The Full Moon is on March 29th and occurs in your polar sign, Libra. This is your house of close relationships including open enemies as well as anyone else you have a one-on-one relationship with such as your significant other, business partners, close friends and relatives and people like your accountant, tax and financial advisors, doctor, lawyer and so forth. A Full Moon usually brings a culmination or shift to a new phase. If your birthday is within a few days of March 30 this is most likely to be noticeable. That convention in Pisces has broken up by this time with the Sun, Mercury and Venus all in Aries, which will be to your advantage, particularly as they contact your Natal Sun. And speaking of Natal Suns, remember that birthday time means solar return time, when you start a brand new cycle. A solar return chart is similar to a natal chart, but it's only in effect for a year. Nonetheless, you will be feeling the effects, even if they are relatively temporary. There's some potential for romantic involvement out there, which could be someone new or possibly kicking it up a notch for an existing relationship. This may originate with some sort of conflict, but ultimately be resolved in a pleasing manner. The Libra Moon will help incline you toward fairness, though you may feel as if you're having to give something up in the process. Change is also implied that may include some irritation or inconvenience, but again, it should ultimately work out to your satisfaction. Short Term/Daily Aspects March 1: Some new insight or revelation could threaten your ego in some way and effect a change of course or direction. This won't necessarily be a bad thing. Mercury enters Pisces today, which will enhance your ability to attain deep insights and spiritual growth. March 2: Give some thought to those close to you and whether your relationship is as it should be. Consider where any adjustments should be made to make things better. March 3: Expect the unexpected with regard to love and money, though this is most likely to occur as inspiration as opposed to Ed McMahon or your soulmate turning up on your doorstep. March 4: Give some serious thought and introspection to your career goals, public image, and status. Remember that "status" covers a lot of ground and includes just about anything that involves a title, license, or label. March 7: Venus goes into Aries today, bringing her blessings and charm to your first house of personality. This will even enhance your physical appearance so you can expect to attract members of the opposite sex until the end of the month. This effect is further strengthened by the fact she's trining Mars in your 5th House of romance. It's also a very favorable time for redefining your dreams and visualizing how things could be. Don't let this day go to waste because days like this don't come along very often. March 9: If your romantic life is picking up today you're likely to give some serious consideration to what additional responsibilities could bring into your life. Keep a positive attitude along with any thoughts of "What have I done?" March 10: Mars goes direct, putting his energy back on track and more easily accessible than it has been since before Christmas. March 11: Encounters, either physically or in memory, with someone from your past such as a past love, are likely. Some forensic work regarding the lessons learned from that relationship is encouraged. March 14: Another good day for deep contemplation, understanding the past, and determining what your dreams contain. March 15: New Moon in Pisces as described above. March 17: Expect the unexpected, though this is also as likely to occur inside your head as opposed to the real world. Pay attention either way. Mercury enters Aries today, clarifying and enhancing your communication skills. Now is a good time for conversations with your romantic partner as well as gathering information regarding any other types of speculations. March 18: If you've been ignoring any of your responsibilities, they're likely to get your attention today. March 20: The Sun goes into Aries today, which should be cause for celebration. The coming month is a time when you can really shine. However, make sure any encounters with authority figures or those with any degree of power over you are not perceived as arrogant or aggressive. The possibility for conflicts with those types is rather high. March 21: This should be a very positive day. Romantic interests, entertainment, speculations, and feeling good about yourself generally are all favored, so put it to good use. Don't be irresponsible, though, or you'll regret it later. March 22: This is a good time to think about your romantic relationships and possibly kicking them up a notch. March 25: How you see yourself versus how others see you aren't likely to be in synch today. Use charm as opposed to aggression to deal with any conflicts that may arise. March 29: Full Moon today as noted above. March 31: Adjustments or a change of course as it relates to your responsibilities are calling for your attention. Inspiration is possible, so look for it. Venus goes into your 2nd House of finances, possessions and pleasures today, so start thinking in that direction as well. |
