Lunations and Long-Term Aspects This month the Full Moon, which usually indicates an ending, culmination, or shifting to a new phase, occurs in Taurus, your 11th House of friends, associates, organizations, hopes, and wishes. Thus, something in this area of your life will be emphasized with the attending aspects lending a few clues to what that might be. For starters, Mars is creating a T-Square with the Sun - Moon opposition from your 2nd House of finance, possessions, needs, and pleasures. One thing this particular configuration could do is put you in the mood to enjoy yourself more than you should, given the condition of your wallet. Cancers are usually pretty good with their money, but you're also emotional creatures that can be lured to indulge in impulse spending. Thus, you might want to anticipate and plan accordingly and set limits on it before the urge strikes and dissipates your common sense to say nothing of your money. Making decisions ahead of time when you're not in the heat of battle is usually a helpful tool. Making decisions with a joint agreement between your heart and head will serve you well. Another element of this lunation comprises several aspects involving Venus, who's happily residing in Libra, which she rules in addition to Taurus. Libra is your 4th House of home environment and you couldn't have a nicer visitor there than the goddess of love, which implies happy times spent with family and enjoying your abode. Venus also influences your finances, so benefits may be coming your way there as well. Venus is forming a T-Square with the Lunar Nodes indicating changes are coming into your life and close relationships that originate with something pleasant on the home front. T-Squares are often challenging, but in this context, it shouldn't be unpleasant. Any change institutes challenges, however, but as a Cardinal Sign making decisions isn't usually a problem for you. Venus is also trine both Neptune and the asteroid, Chiron, who are camped out in Aquarius, your 8th House of transformations. Neptune tends to dissolve and distort, but can also inspire and deceive, so be a bit cautious about indulging in too many dreams that may fall short in the real world. The trine to Chiron, however, could represent some healing of past hurts or processing them in such a way that they contribute to your experience base and wisdom. A sudden or unexpected change of course related to your beliefs or expectations may come about or it could also involve something like a legal matter, higher education, long-distance travel or even a relocation. In other words, the influence will be directed at your 9th House, which comprises such things. Saturn is square Pluto, a hard aspect between two less than friendly planets who are hanging out in your 4th and 7th Houses, respectively. Saturn implies an increase in responsibilities at home or the need to define more structure to your household routine. Pluto is in your 7th House of relationships, however, so the people close to you are going to present some resistance to these efforts (big surprise). Pluto dredging through this particular House can be rather trying, particularly if there are a lot of skeletons in your closet or unresolved issues from the past regarding those close to you. Pluto won't tolerate things swept under the rug and will makes sure that anything you've tried to cover up is dug up and presented for proper disposal. He is not to be denied and if you try to ignore it things may get a bit ugly; arguing with a planet seldom ends well. If your relationships are healthy, then this won't be as difficult. If your birthday is right around June 23, give or take a day, Pluto will be opposite your Natal Sun, however, which will be working on you personally as well. In this case, you can expect an emphasis on power struggles for quite a while to come. Either those around you are trying to keep you on a leash or perhaps your "Crab" tendencies are doing the same. Venus in Libra, a Sign that promotes fairness and balance, will help you resolve them provided you don't procrastinate since Venus leaves Libra for passionate, obsessive Scorpio on November 7. The New Moon on November 16 is in fellow Water Sign, Scorpio, your 5th House of ego expression, creativity, children, romance, speculation and entertainment. If your birthday is right around July 16, you can expect to see something changing in your life; something is about to leave and something new arrive to replace it. This will affect you, personally, as well as your relationships and will involve something new from that 5th House domain denoted above. Mars is square Venus at this time which again introduces that possible issue of impulsive spending. Another possibility is that something could break down beyond repair and you may be tempted to replace it at a much higher level than your budget would condone. In other words, giving up that Ford Focus for a Mercedes S550 probably isn't a good idea unless you've recently had a very substantial windfall. News or activity at work is going to bring opportunities to enhance those home responsibilities in some way, perhaps via a new project, promotion or raise. Saturn and Pluto are still square with their meaning the same as described above with respect to possible power struggles within your home and other close relationships. The New Moon is trine Uranus, creating a Grand Trine for those of you born around July 16, which will bring something unexpected your way and probably involve your children, ego, or some other 5th House element. Transformations are likely and may not come particularly easily. You could encounter a disappointment or lose something you care a lot about. However, a sudden flash of inspiration and enlightenment can carry you through by changing how you see things. Both lunations this month tie into home, family, and relationships and promise to bring various transformational experiences your way. These are emotional areas and you're an emotional sign, so you might warn those around you accordingly. Daily and Short-term Aspects November 1 - 2: Be prepared for an unexpected conflict related to your finances, either someone denying something you want or someone such as a child or romantic interest demanding something from you. You may also want to make an investment or pursue some form of entertainment that constitutes an attack on your wallet. The Full Moon and its likely effects on November 2nd are described above. November 3: Neptune goes direct, allowing his energy to be externalized which can bring your dreams to the surface. This does not mean that they're realistic, only that you'll become aware of them. A reality check is still required. November 5 - 7: News and/or information related to your children, romantic interests, speculative activities or some form of entertainment will come your way. This is going to trigger some admonitions from your sense of responsibility or a reminder of existing obligations. Venus goes into Scorpio on November 7th, bringing a touch of passion or even obsession to your desires. A few jabs related to unresolved issues from the past are also possible. November 8: Responsibilities and obligations will be in your face again, perhaps denying something you really, really want, or at least think you do. Pursuing or dismissing this idea will have a strong effect on you and how you see the world. More reminders of past issues with those close to you will also arise, but there will be positive opportunities to deal with them. It's all a matter of where your heart is and whether you're doing something because you want to or because you're "shoulding" on yourself. November 10 - 11: Increased understanding of yourself and what you really need will have a significant effect. A sudden flash of understanding that affects your beliefs and expectations is possible or perhaps an event that has the same effect. Be cautious about borrowing money or going into debt at this time. Don't overestimate existing or future resources. November 14: Your ego may have a surprise encounter that could be related to your expectations. Unexpected events related to long-distance travel, higher learning or legal matters are another possibility. You can come out of this smelling like a rose, however, so don't let it get to you. November 15: Mercury goes into Sagittarius today, facilitating communications and information regarding your work or health. If you haven't seen any of those power struggles yet that were alluded to earlier, you probably will now. Make sure you're not being too idealistic or falling for another sob story. Your sense of compassion is easily triggered and others can use that to manipulate you, so consult with your head before following your heart. November 16: The New Moon occurs on this date as described above. November 19 - 21: This may be the day when you're really tempted to make a large purchase to feed your ego or indulge in something else which may not be in your best interest. The Sun goes into Sagittarius on the 21st, bringing emphasis to your work, current projects, or health. More ruminations relative to your relationships and obligations are likely as well. November 23: Another day of potential transformations. Your ego is grasping for expression but doing so with your wallet or the plastic in it isn't the best course. If your self-worth is tied up in material goods, increasing your debt load will ultimately erode, not enhance, it. Again, look to your past and what life has taught you, then question whether or not it's accurate. November 24 - 25: Opportunities related to work or personal projects, particularly on the home front, are likely to manifest today. Take advantage of them however you can. A pleasant surprise is also possible. November 26: This is a favorable time to express yourself at work, whether it's about a current project or regarding a raise. Your dedication and work ethic will be noted and work to your advantage. Just don't entertain any delusions in the process or count your chickens before they're hatched. November 29: Watch for opportunities today related to news at work. Expanding any shared resources to your benefit is possible as well as a personal transformation of some sort. Those old relationship issues and how they affect your personal values will surface again as well. November 30: Unexpected news or information relative to your work or health is likely which will result in seeing something differently or possibly a significant change in your beliefs and expectations.
