Lunations and Long-term Aspects

The Full Moon on November 2 occurs in Taurus, your 4th House of home environment.  The Full Moon typically indicates an ending or culmination, after which you proceed into a new phase.  Your home environment comprises your home and family, including your physical abode, the people in your household, and anything that relates to them and affects your home life.  Ideally your home environment should reflect your retreat from the world and a place where you are free to be yourself.  By definition, a Full Moon is an opposition between the Sun and Moon and with the Moon in your 4th, the Sun is then in your 10th House of career, reputation and status, bringing emphasis to that area.  Of course it shouldn't be much of a surprise that your home life and career (or private self and public image) would be in natural opposition to one another.

If your birthday is within a day or so of January 30, this lunation will create a T-Square with your Natal Sun, meaning that for you there should be some significant issues to deal with regarding home and career/status.  Bear in mind that "status" in the 10th House sense comprises just about anything that has to do with a status change, which often includes a title or label by which you're known publicly.  For example, if you graduate from college, that is a change of status as you become known as a "graduate."  It also includes such things as a promotion or conversely losing your job or even retiring; likewise being elected to public office, becoming a homeowner, or a parent. 

This is emphasized even further by the fact that Mars is already creating a T-Square with the Full Moon, so this becomes a Grand Cross for Aquarians, throwing some action in your relationships into the mix as well.  This will liven things up and motivate a lot of interaction with those close to you.  Relationships in the astrological context include not only your significant other but close friends and relatives, business partners, and if you're in business for yourself, your cliental.  Use this energy in a positive manner and take care that you're not perceived as aggressive, which can often occur with Mars in this House.

The Part of Fortune, a calculated chart point that contains energy related to those things that bring you happiness, is conjunct Mars, which implies one or more of your relationships is likely to be affected by whatever is going on at home and in your career/status.  Mercury is involved as well, implying news or information will be forthcoming in this area as well, perhaps triggering all this other action.

Those of you born within a few days of February 12th can expect to see some interesting occurrences this month as well with Venus  in your 9th House of higher learning, legal matters, beliefs, expectations, relocation and long-distance travel and trine your Natal Sun.  Venus is a benefic planet anyway and in trine should bring good things your way.  Neptune is conjunct your Natal Sun, throwing influence in that regard as well.  Neptune can be very inspiring and enlightening, but by the same token can distort reality and create illusions and delusions.  Hopefully in this case being tied in with Venus he will bring inspiration your way that relates to your beliefs.  Neptune has been retrograde for several months, but goes direct on the 3rd.  This will allow his energy to be expressed more easily and pave the way for pursuing your dreams, which will now come into focus better than they've been.

Venus is square the Lunar Nodes, creating another T-Square that will result in a tug-o-war that is likely to relate to your job or work and something at the spiritual level.  One example of how this could manifest would be something favorable related to your beliefs and expectations helps you overcome any self-defeating behaviors that have been holding you back.  With the Lunar Nodes involved, expect something to come into your life as something else leaves.  This is most likely to involve something related to your work.  Change and shifts in your life's direction are extremely likely at this time, particularly with Venus quincunx Uranus, planet of disruptions and sudden change, which reinforces the contacts with the Nodes.

Saturn is square Pluto, a harsh aspect between two bad-boy planets.  Saturn is in Libra, your 9th House of beliefs and expectations, and Pluto is in your 12th House of spirituality, enlightenment, self-undoing and hidden enemies.  Pluto flushes out those things that need to go in order to make room for something new and better.  This could relate to any self-defeating behaviors you may be hanging onto and a restructuring of your belief system.  This won't be an easy aspect in itself, yet it could easily pave the way for these other changes which will overall have a positive effect on your life.

The New Moon on the 16th occurs in Scorpio, your 10th House of career, status, and reputation, and implies something new coming your way in this part of your life.  This will be especially noticeable for those of you with birthdays around February 14 and is most likely to show up related to your job and spiritual progress.  Pluto and Saturn are in nearly exact square at this time, reinforcing the influence they had for the Full Moon as described above.  Again, take a long, hard look at any self-defeating behaviors or limited beliefs that may be holding you back.  It may also be a time to take life more seriously than you have in the past.

The sextile pattern between Uranus, planet of sudden change, the North Node, and New Moon indicates change is on the way which is likely to have an effect on your finances.  Aquarians are naturals at networking and with Mercury in your 11th House of groups and friends, it's highly likely that one of your connections with someone somewhere will be the catalyst for change.  The Part of Fortune is conjunct your Natal Sun if your birthday is right around February 16, meaning these events are going to affect your overall satisfaction.

Short-term Aspects

November 1 - 2:  News or information pertaining to your career, status or reputation will create some issues with one or more of your relationships.  The Full Moon also occurs at this time.  Positive adjustments to your beliefs, a legal matter, relocation or something related to higher learning can bring about changes to your financial situation or values at this time as well.  Defining your dreams more clearly is also likely at this time.

November 5 - 7:  Significant news or ideas related to your career or status is likely at this time which will have a sobering effect on your beliefs and expectations.  Venus goes into Scorpio on the 7th, which will deliver her blessings to your career/status situation.  If you feel confined in your current career or status situation, anyone is trying to undermine your efforts, or you're having issues with any institutions it will also manifest at this time.

November 8:  Status or career issues will seem difficult or restrictive, but this will help motivate you toward making a needed change.  As a Fixed Sign, change isn't something that comes easily for you, yet it's the only way to escape any unsatisfactory status quo.  Progressing at a personal level is going to take some effort.  Continue to look for anything that is holding you back.  Opportunities to get past them are coming your way.

November 10 - 11:  You'll be in the limelight in some way during this timeframe.  Good news pertaining to your finances is also possible.  If you've been entertaining any unrealistic thoughts or basing decisions on inaccurate information, the truth should come out.

November 14:  Watch for unexpected events which will affect your possessions or finances. 

November 15 - 16:  Mercury goes into Sagittarius, your 11th House of groups, friends, organizations and goals on the 15th, facilitating communications and information in this area that could yield opportunity.  Continue to look for anything that has been holding you back, particularly within your own belief system or anything beyond the scope of reality.  The New Moon occurs on the 16th as noted above.

November 19:  A conflict between you and someone within your inner circle is possible, perhaps related to your career or status.  Interactions with the opposite sex are likely to be tense as well.

November 21:  The Sun goes into Sagittarius, your 11th House of groups, friends, and goals, shifting emphasis to this part of your life.  If you haven't figured out what's holding you back careerwise, you may find a hint or two when you realize you're capable of much more than you thought.

November 23:  Don't let a lucky break go to your head, even if you earned it.  Being over-confident is no better than not having enough; seek for balance.  Look at your past some more for clues where changes are needed.

November 24 - 25:  Opportunities through networking are favored that could have a major impact.  Changes in your financial situation are possible as well.

November 26:  Another excellent day to pursue networking opportunities with friends and associates.  You are likely to be very well perceived, provided to have realistic expectations.

November 29:  Positive results may come today from your networking activities.  A confrontation with someone is also possible.

November 30:  Something unexpected that might wind up costing you money could occur today.
