The first few days of the month you may encounter a minor nuisance or annoyance related to your finances or possessions, such as forgetting to subtract something from your checkbook, misplacing a bill that needs to get paid, or losing or something valuable, like your wallet, watch, purse or what-have-you. In other words, you're likely to be a bit careless or daydreaming more than usual, so bear that in mind and take care of any obligations early. You'll no sooner get rid of that and you may find you need to make an adjustment to an idea you've trying to get off the ground or perhaps postpone a weekend trip, more than likely because you don't have as much money as you thought you did. Not to worry, however, because you'll have plenty of energy and lots of ideas for working around the house and may gain a useful insight or two along the way. On April 7th, Venus enters your Natural 3rd House of thoughts and ideas, which will further enhance your thought processes. However, between April 20 - 30 she'll square Mars, which doesn't bode too well for male-female relationships.

Over the next month you'll probably find yourself pondering things on a more spiritual level as Pluto goes retrograde in your Natural 12th House of dreams, spirituality, and inspiration. Your dreams are likely to be usually vivid or even weird, and may hold a message related to something from your past that you never quite resolved. If anything is amiss in this area of your life, you'll be drawn to give it some attention and possibly do some healing. Your awareness and ability to see deeper than you have before, uncover hidden elements or facts you'd previously missed, or perceive others' intentions more clearly than usual are also likely. Between April 16 - 30 the Sun will trine Pluto, which should help you focus in on what is going on more clearly.

During this same time, Pluto will trine Saturn, as well. Saturn is also retrograde until May and has been in that state for a few months now. Saturn is all about discipline, responsibility and obligations and is also known to institute delays. He's currently residing in your 8th House of sex, transformations, and shared resources and linked up with Pluto is likely to bring some attention to your deepest feelings about this area of your life, their origin, and whether any major changes are in order. By the end of the month, Venus will move into position between these two serious planets, however, and create a harmonious Grand Trine from your 4th House of home environment, which could be the catalyst to pull all these rumination together in a positive way. This could even relate to buying your dream home, though that is far from the only way it might show up. Some good news or information is likely to surface in this regard between April 17 - 21.

During April Jupiter will also sextile your Sign Ruler, Uranus. A sextile usually brings an opportunity, so with Jupiter usually expanding anything it touches and Uranus usually evoking change, it looks like more inspiration, but this time relative to your 2nd House of finances and possessions. If you're an optimistic sort of person, you're probably thinking that this would be a good time to buy a lotto ticket. Actually, lotto tickets would more likely fall under your 5th House of games and speculations, but you never know. Just remember that a lotto is a tax on those who are bad at math and don't throw too much at it. If you're supposed to win, you will, without spending your life savings on multiple tickets. The Sun will square Jupiter between April 5- 17, however, so I'd skip buying a ticket on those days since it's likely that your conscious mind won't be particularly receptive to any inspiration at that time. During about this same timeframe, i.e. between April 12 - 16, you're likely to have a fairly steady flow of inspiring ideas, so keep a notebook handy and write them down for future use, but remember there can be a fine line between inspiration and not recognizing reality.

If you're trying to pursue a specific project or task at work you're likely to encounter some resistance the first two weeks of April. Your drive will be in high gear, but something is likely to inhibit your progress. Arguments are also likely, especially the second week. The New Moon on the 5th occurs in your Natural 3rd House of ideas, thoughts, neighborhood issues, and short journeys, which is likely to usher in something new in one of these areas. Venus will be bringing optimism and goodness to your thoughts, though you may find you have to make an adjustment or two to any ideas that come between April 7 - 11 because serious Saturn will be imposing some definite structure on them during that time. In addition, during that same timeframe plus a little beyond, the Sun will square Neptune, which will tend to place a bit of a fog over everything that isn't likely to be helpful. While Neptune can inspire, he can also cause delusions or deceptions, so be especially cautious about believing anything you see or hear until after the 20th.

The second half of the month, the pace is likely to be very hectic at work as Mars trines Uranus. This could also give you some strong motivation toward making some changes at work or even switching jobs, especially if there's a financial benefit in it. You're not one who really likes change, but you do like money, so this could be the driver. Just make sure you're seeing everything clearly until after the 20th, like noted above, because what you're seeing or hearing to influence you in this direction may not be accurate. I think most of us have at least one story of being lured into a job under false pretenses and the planets are configured in such a way that this could be the case. Thus, do your homework, listen carefully and ask the questions you need to ask, comfortable or not. Between April 20 - 30 when Venus square Mars, this doesn't only indicate arguments between the sexes as previously noted, but it could also mean a conflict between your thoughts regarding finances and work. Of interest as well is the Full Moon on the 20th, which occurs in your 10th House of career and reputation. Full Moons usually indicate a culmination, though this could simply refer to a specific project and not a complete career change.

Another possibility to look out for is being lured away from your dreams because of everything that is going on at work. Money can sound pretty enticing, but if it's going to take a lot more of your time or leave you so drained at the end of the day that you don't have the energy to do the things you really like, then you need to consider carefully whether or not it's worth the price. Adjustments are likely to your dreams due to Mars opposing Jupiter from April 15 - May 4, and that looks like a tug-o-war between pursuing your dreams and your job to me. In addition, a quincunx between Mars and Neptune between April 23 - May 3 implies an adjustment of some sort will be required between your personal aspirations and your job. Therefore, before you make any serious, irrevocable moves, give them serious thought regarding all the ramifications. When Mercury throws a sextile to Mars, however, between April 27 - May 2, this should help you think things out in a rational way and thus find a suitable, logical solution you can live with.

In general it looks like April's action is going to be largely focused on your source of income, how you go about earning it, and how it might possibly conflict with your dreams. Remember that if you let your dreams die that a part of you dies with them, so treat them like a living entity and give them the respect they deserve before you set them aside. Expect some action on the homefront as well and possibly some experiences that bring you to a different place than you were before.
