This month there's a lot of energy in your 10th House of career and reputation. This is home ground for Cappies and thus will mark significant events in this part of your life. The Full Moon is in your 4th House of home environment on the 14th, which will mark the culmination of something related to your household. This could be an ending, or simply the shift to a new phase.

There are some long-term influences out there all month due to a configuration known as a Triangle of Potential being formed by Saturn, Uranus, and Jupiter. Your Sign Ruler, Saturn, has been in Virgo, your 9th House of beliefs, long-distance travel, higher education, and legal matters for over a year. If you're a typical Cappy you're not exactly a party animal anyway, and this transit certainly wouldn't do anything to reverse that tendency. Saturn is all about delays, boundaries, restrictions, discipline, responsibility, and obligations. Put this together with those 9th House elements and you have pretty serious stuff.

This month, however, Saturn will oppose Uranus, planet of sudden change, unexpected events, chaos, rebellion, and surprises. He's currently residing in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, short journeys, and neighborhood issues. If things have been hectic around home and your thoughts have been more erratic than usual, this is why. Needless to say, Uranus is the antithesis of Saturn. Saturn is about stability, Uranus, instability. Saturn is about responsibility, Uranus, rebellion. At any rate, you get the idea, and during this month these two planets in their respective venues will be faced off with one another.

In a nutshell this looks like you may be making some landmark decisions about your beliefs or perhaps issues that relate to travel or relocation in some way. Bear in mind that Mercury is retrograde until October 14, meaning communications in your career area especially will be hampered until after that date. Moving forward will be nearly impossible, but this is an excellent time to rethink, re-plan, and review your current plans or ideas for anything you may have missed. Also, remember not to purchase anything of a mechanical or electronic nature until after this passes unless you want to deal with a lemon for the entire duration of ownership.

The third leg in this triad is Jupiter, who's in your 1st House of personality. Jupiter brings good luck and expansion our way, which certainly can't hurt in this situation. He's in positive aspect to both Saturn and Uranus, putting you and what you want right in the middle of all this. Note that from October 3 - 11 the Sun will square Jupiter, which could introduce a challenge or two related to your career. Just don't lose your focus on what you really want to achieve or indulge in over-confidence that could bite you later. Between October 22 - 31 Mars will sextile Jupiter, which will throw some energy your way and perhaps a helping hand from an authority figure or one of your friends. Venus is also well placed to throw some luck and good fortune your way and assure that you are optimistic and perceived in a positive way. The New Moon on the 28th will herald something new in your group associations, friends, or the hopes and wishes area, further reinforcing good things to come.

During the first week of the month Mars will sextile Pluto. One way this aspect could play out is that Pluto in your 12th House of spirituality, dreams, and inspiration could help you identify what you really want in life along with the drive and energy to pursue it. Both of these are powerful energy sources that can give you a much-needed boost in the right direction. They will also help allay any fears or reservations that have been holding you back.

From October 10 - 18 the Sun will trine Neptune. This could bring some more good news of a financial nature, or at least give you a glimpse of what's possible. Neptune can cast some beautiful illusions but as long as you understand what's real and what's not it can give you a nice vision to move toward. The Sun will sextile Pluto from October 19 - 28, which should further help you formulate your vision for the future and what you need to do to get there.

This month promises to be a turning point in a variety of ways. It's entirely up to you whether you'll latch onto these aspects and ride the wave or let it wash over you and maintain your status quo. If you're happy with things the way they are, you may not be very motivated to pursue a change. On the other hand, if you're looking for something else in your life, the planets are lending you a helping hand this month. It's entirely up to you whether or not you reach out and grab it.
