Long-term Aspects and Lunations

Other than Pluto transiting your 2nd House, which was covered last month, the only other major aspect that hangs in there for a while this month involving the outer planets is a quincunx between Jupiter and Saturn from roughly March 14 - 31 with it exact on the 22nd. A quincunx is an aspect that usually indicates adjustments will be required, such as a change to original plans, or sometimes it involves a Catch-22. It doesn't necessary mean things will turn out badly, only that they will require a few tweaks and changes versus what you originally thought was going to happen. Jupiter, which tends to expand and exaggerate whatever he contacts, is in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, and short journeys while Saturn, who governs delays, authority, responsibility and obligations, is in your 10th House of career and reputation. Blend all that together and it looks as if the latter part of the month you're going to be dealing with changing what you originally thought were your career goals or perhaps tweaking the original plans for a project. While this may be inconvenient or disappointing, it shouldn't be a major problem, just a change in direction, which certainly isn't surprising these days with the economy and such the way it is.

The Full Moon this month is on March 10 in Virgo, your 10th House of career. This could very well tie into the change in plan noted above, particularly since it occurs almost on top of Saturn. A Full Moon usually indicates a culmination of something, so more than likely this is going to bring something to a halt that will ultimately affect something you planned to do. The New Moon on March 26 is in Aries, your 5th House of children, romance, creativity, and entertainment. New Moons usually herald either something new or a new phase of an existing activity or relationship. This is usually the house where we find some fun or relaxation so hopefully this will bring something of that nature your way.

Short-term Aspects

The month starts out with a lot of mental activity with Jupiter, Mercury, Mars and Neptune all hanging out in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors and short journeys. This will result in a somewhat hectic pace with a lot of running around, though it's also a time that should be fruitful as far as problem solving or generally getting things done. As the month progresses, some of this energy will move into your 4th House of home environment, which is already being emphasized by the Sun's presence until the 20th. Venus is in your 5th House of romance and creativity, which is certainly a nice place for her to be, with the Sun, Mercury and New Moon also implying something is brewing in this area of your life as well.

March starts out with Mercury in quincunx to Saturn. Since Mercury usually brings news or information, this is likely to be the precursor to those changes coming your way. Pay attention and you'll probably be able to figure out what that they're going to entail later in the month. That same day Mercury will also be in conjunction with Mars, which in this context implies you're going to be less than enchanted with this situation and more than likely react with anger or resistance. Over the next few days several annoyances will come your way along with some additional surprises, so brace yourself. On the 5th Mercury will be in conjunction with Neptune, which will mean either some major inspiration or your idea completely evaporating into space. Delusions are also possible, so it's best not to entirely trust whatever comes to mind that day, though it could also simply mean you'll have a series of very weird and vivid dreams.

On the 6^th Venus goes retrograde, which typically evokes ruminations relative to our relationships and since Venus is in your 5^th House of romance, this makes it all the more likely. Thus you can expect to be looking at this area of your life more carefully and considering whether or not you like where you are currently with respect to this part of your life.

Mars will take his turn in conjunction with Neptune on the 8th. The implications here are similar, i.e. whatever you're trying to get rolling is going to evaporate into thin air. There's the possibility that you may come up with a completely new idea that's even better than the first, but it's more likely to be an encounter with the proverbial wet blanket. That same day the Sun will oppose Saturn, which will bring about a conflict of some description between your home and/or family and your career. Either your boss is going to want you to stay late and work on something when you'd rather be home, or vice versa in that your family wants you to come home while you'd really rather work. It will be up to you to solve it the best way possible to keep everyone as happy as possible.

On the 10th, along with the Full Moon, look for an opportunity to find something you've been looking for that relates to your home, whether it's figuring out why something hasn't been working properly or discovering where to buy something you've been looking for. There's no guarantee it will be on sale, but you'll at least know where to get it. The next day should bring a boost to your creativity that will be rather pleasant. A good idea of some description will come your way that is likely to enhance either a creative project or affect your children or love life in a positive manner. On the 12th the Sun will be in conjunction with Uranus, which will bring a surprise or disruption your way involving your home or family. If your birthday is within a few days of December 14th this will be even more significant. Irritations involving the opposite sex will be out there the following day as well.

Mercury will oppose Saturn on the 18th, bringing more conflicts between home and your career but the following day should bring some opportunities to get started with something that needs to get done around the house where your instincts serve you well for identifying any hidden problems or finding what you need to get it done. The Sun goes into Aries on the 20th, bringing more energy and emphasis to your house of creativity, activities with your children, or pursuing a new love interest, whichever applies. Unexpected news or a disruption is out there on the 21st, so don't expect everything to go as planned. On the 22nd that Jupiter - Saturn quincunx is exact, so most likely to bring that change in direction to that career issue.

If you're working on a new creative project and have missed anything, on the 23rd you'll find out what it is, causing a few problems you'll have to resolve. It's not a particularly good day for romance, either, as something is going to come along that stirs things up, whether it's an unexpected expense, a dirty little secret comes out, or one of you just isn't in the mood. If you have children, expect to find out something that makes you wonder why you ever wanted to become a parent, though it could just be finding out something they forgot to tell you, like accidentally breaking something. Whatever it turns out to be, you probably won't like it. The New Moon will open a new chapter in that same part of your life on the 26th and the following day on the 27th even more information will come out regarding that mess you didn't quite clean up on the 23rd. Any ruminations that started earlier in the month with regard to your relationships will be highlighted at this time along with some positive opportunities to talk them out with the relevant individuals.

Thus, March looks like a month that is going to have a lot going on at home, with your career and also with any creative projects you have going, which also includes activities with your children or regarding your love life. While a few hassles will come your way, they shouldn't be catastrophic with the month definitely ending on a positive note.
