Lunations and Long-term Aspects This month the Full Moon occurs on the 9th in Libra, your 8th House of transformations, sex, death & regeneration, and shared resources. This indicates that a culmination or new phase is imminent in this area of your life. Lunations have their own character, based on the other aspects that accompany them. First of all, consider that by definition a Full Moon is an opposition between the Sun and Moon, putting you mind and heart face to face regarding something. In this case, the Moon is in your House of transformation while the Sun is in Aries, your 2nd House of finance, possessions, values, and pleasures. With the economy the way it is these days, it’s likely that money is a concern. This, in turn, is affecting you emotionally and changing you in a subtle but significant way. Jupiter is in aspect to both the Sun and Moon in a favorable way in what is called a Triangle of Potential. This will mitigate that Sun/Moon dialog in a positive way that will also create an opportunity. Jupiter is in Aquarius, your 12th House of transcendence, enlightenment, spirituality and dreams. This House holds a special place in Pisces’ heart since it rules the zodiacal 12th House. Pisces love to transcend and escape the mundane on a regular basis in one way or another or they become spiritually malnourished. Thus there is a spiritual lesson or glimpse of another dimension that will help you resolve these other issues; for example, realizing that there is more to life than money can be a great help in dealing with financial problems. Other influences inherent in this month’s Full Moon involve a change of course relative to your direction in life. There will be a conflict between your finances and hopes and wishes that you’ll need to resolve. Another possibility is that your friends, coworkers, or any organizations with which you’re associated will place financial demands on you. Now that Pluto is in Capricorn, your 11th House that comprises these groups and such, it will help you see them in ways you haven’t been able to before. You’ll be better able to see others’ motivation and if they’re using you in some manner that is not in your best interest. You may be wasting your time with these activities which is keeping you away from more important things. Thoughts and understanding of these issues will abound this month as the Universe strives to tutor you through the events and people in your life. Take note of those you admire and you’d like to emulate and determine how they got there. While it’s wise to trust the Universe, we also have to define our own path and ultimate destiny. Effort and discipline are required to attain our goals. The New Moon on the 24th is in Taurus, your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighborhood, and short journeys. Thus, it wouldn’t be surprising if you take a trip, or possibly even several, this month, perhaps just more running around with errands than you usually do. It’s also likely to stimulate your thought process in the direction it needs to go. Recall that the Full Moon should have signified a culmination, so it’s time for something new to come your way in its stead. The New Moon brings a few challenges with it, but opportunities are out there as well. The challenges are going to relate to your 12th House, which may be standing in your way as far as advancing at a personal level. Pisces love to dream, so it’s important that you be as realistic as possible. The 12th House has some dark and unfriendly elements as well, such as hidden enemies, confinement, and institutions. Thus, be extra careful when you're doing all that running around, particularly driving, for a variety of reasons. If nothing else, make sure you put your full attention on the road and other drivers when you're behind the wheel rather than daydreaming. On the other hand, you may simple visit someone you know in a hospital, it's hard to say. It's impossible to predict exactly how this might play out for everyone with so many options. Your Sign Ruler, Neptune, is also hanging out in your 12th, which is good for inspiration, so far as you recognize that not all of it is reality. Neptune may also contribute to being a bit too dreamy when you should be paying attention, so when your mind wanders when you're doing something else, discipline yourself to bring it back to task and save the daydreaming for your easy chair. Short-term Aspects The month starts out with the need for some adjustments or a change of course that will relate to finances and involve someone you're close to. This won't necessarily be your significant other, it could also be a business partner. If you're in business for yourself, this could even involve something as mundane as your marketing approach. A financial obstacle to your hopes and wishes may come out through something you weren't aware of before. Oddly enough, this same aspect could also mean one of your coworkers or someone you work with within the bounds of an organization or group of some sort has been pilfering money, but there's just as much chance that it you sprain your ankle during a jaunt with your hiking or running club. No telling exactly, as noted earlier, when there are as many possibilities as there are Pisceans. On or around the 4th some inspiration is out there that could bring some inspiration on how to handle those obstacles lurking around in the shadows. An argument with someone close to you, including your business partners, is likely about this same time which will result in a few adjustments or a change of course. On the 7th more inspiration regarding yet another opportunity, or perhaps an alternate approach to the one that came up earlier, is on the agenda. Mercury goes into Taurus, your 3rd House of thought, ideas, short journeys and such on the 9th, which will quicken your thoughts and possibly ramp up your to-do list. The Full Moon also occurs on the 9th, which was described earlier. On the 11th Venus goes into Pisces, which is always a very pleasant transit. People will perceive you in a favorable manner and even your appearance will be softened and be more appealing. This certainly can't hurt, no matter what you're trying to accomplish. It should also put you in a rather pleasant mood, which doesn't hurt, either. April 11th will bring some useful ideas related to your hopes and wishes with another possibility a pleasant trip with your friends or that group mentioned earlier. You will see things at a deeper level than previously, regardless of what the activity is, and perhaps find out something previously kept hidden or out of sight. This is a favorable aspect, however, so this should be of a positive or helpful nature. Good ol' "Tax Day," i.e. April 15, will bring a surprise or something unexpected that will affect you personally. This looks like it's going to be pleasant, based on its accompanying aspect that looks like more inspiration involving your finances. However, once again, I need to remind you to make sure it's based on reality and isn't just a very pleasant illusion. Due to your incredible imagination and dreamy nature, no one can work miracles like a Pisces can, but you still need to make sure it doesn't violate the laws of physics. Of course Einstein's theories give us a lot more latitude in that area than Newton ever did, so no telling. Nothing is going to happen until someone visualizes it first, and Pisceans excel at that, so who knows? The 18th is a favorable time for brainstorming with someone close to you or perhaps a pleasant day trip. I need to note that Saturn has been retrograde in your house of relationships, however, which indicates some restructuring is in order in that part of your life. Again, this is anyone you associate with on a one-on-one basis and not necessarily your significant other. At any rate, some changes are in order which Saturn is assisting with. If you're not sure what this relates to, keep giving it some thought; by mid-May, when Saturn goes direct, you should have it figured out, then have the appropriate changes implemented by late September, so file this away in the back of your head. The Sun goes into Taurus on April 19th which will further highlight your thought processes and assist you in your brainstorming. On the 21st, give or take a day or so, be sure to plan for something special with your significant other and if you don't have one, maybe put yourself in a position to meet someone new. Venus and Mars will be in conjunction that day, which bodes well for getting along with those of the opposite sex. If the main concern these days is more of a financial nature, this could also indicate the motivation to move forward with one of those plans you came up with the past few days. The next day, Mars goes into Aries, your 2nd House of finance, possessions and pleasures which will further motivate you to move forward. If there's anyone who's trying to undermine you, they will probably make an appearance on or around the 23rd. This could also involve hitting that wall of reality or setting yourself up to do so if you come up with something that is simply based upon an illusion. Seeing more things you hadn't realized before is out there at that same time, though this should be a good thing. The New Moon occurs on the 24th, which as noted earlier will bring a few challenges. Venus also enters your 2nd House on that day which should bode quite nicely for your finances or other pleasantries ahead. There's a lot going on this month to keep you occupied, most of it on the mental plane. This is all kicking off a new cycle for you, since you all (or should I say y'all?) recently had your solar return, a.k.a. "birthday." Take advantage of the various brainstorms that will come your way, write them down so you don't forget them, but recognize that some of them are unrealistic. Record them anyway because what's unrealistic today (such as lightspeed travel, for you science fiction buffs) may be commonplace tomorrow.
