Lunations and Long Term Aspects

This is largely your month, Rams, as the Sun traverses your Sign until the 19th. This should invigorate you and be a refreshing change from when the Sun was in Pisces. Things will get even better on the 22nd when your Sign Ruler, Mars, also enters Aries. It's probably a good thing that by then the Sun will be in Taurus or you may have had more energy than you'd know what to do with, constructively, anyway. If you feel your aggression levels rising and the people around you backing away with a fearful look in their eyes, you might want to find positive releases of that energy through physical exercise, legitimate competitions, or pursuing one of your goals that doesn't involved tromping all over the people who have the misfortune to get in your way.

The Full Moon on the 9th is in Libra, your 7th House of relationships. This will have the strongest effect on those of you born around April 8 - 10, though all Aries will probably feel it to some degree. A Full Moon usually brings a culmination so expect one or more relationships to either end or shift to a different phase. As with all lunations and eclipses, this one has its own personality based on the planetary aspects in effect at the time. This one contains an aspect known as a Triangle of Potential by which Jupiter is connected with the Sun and Moon from over in your 11th House of groups, associations, coworkers, and hopes and wishes. This implies that the key to those relationship issues lies in expanding your involvement in one of these areas and implies more of a shift in the level of one of your current friendships as opposed to one ending.

Since hopes and wishes are in this same astrological neighborhood, these could also be involved more so than another individual. This pursuit will require some adjustments and perhaps a change of course with respect to your existing vision, which is likely to involve breaking away from something that's been holding you back. Information pertaining to your career should be forthcoming at a deep level, revealing things that were heretofore kept hidden, and there's a good chance that this will have an effect on your personal finances in some way, or perhaps on one of those relationships. Some annoyances and surprises will litter the path, but there's a healthy mix of opportunity out there, provided you take charge of the situation and move in the right direction, which usually isn't too difficult for Rams.

The New Moon on the 24th is in Taurus, your 2nd House of finance, possessions, and pleasures, so expect something new to come along in this area. This may bring some annoyances or general nuisances your way as you attempt to plow some new ground. The good news is that by this time Mars is in Aries, providing some assistance and energy to get through it. Venus will also be in Aries, providing an extra shot of personal charisma so you can charm your way through some of it as well. The challenges will be coming from your 11th House, which as noted above involves your group interactions, friends, coworkers, and your hopes and wishes. Don't believe everything you're told or come across and be aware that others may try to put you on a guilt trip about your intentions.

Deep insights into what you need to do will be available, which will probably pertain to your career or public image in some way, and these will also present some conflicts relative to your personal goals. Don't get tied up or discouraged by the various speedbumps and trip wires and you should be able to work your way through things successfully. Bear in mind that you're starting a new cycle yourself since it's time for your Solar Return, a.k.a. birthday, and starting something new usually presents a challenge of some description. However, Rams thrive on challenges, so it should be an exciting and stimulating time for you.

Pluto is over there in Capricorn, where he'll be retrograde until September. Pluto is the zodiacal roto-rooter and he's in your 10th House of career and reputation, so he'll be digging up various considerations in that area for the entire time he's in Capricorn, which is going to be a long time. If your birthday falls between March 23 - 25 you'll notice this more than other Rams. It's time for all of you to determine if you're in a career that suits you, energizes you as opposed to depleting you, and brings you the satisfaction that you crave. If you're there for the wrong reasons, you will be giving that close scrutiny in the days to come.

Short Term/Daily Aspects

Based on what the lunations are doing, it shouldn't be any surprise that something will come up at work right around April 3rd that will require a change of course and is likely to involve your finances or someone close to you. Remember that Venus is retrograde in your 1st House of personality and her function in this state is to bring attention to something you've been neglecting, perhaps for a long time. Discovering what that may be is likely at this time. On the 4th some good information should come your way, and if you use it properly will provide you with an opportunity to expand upon either your hopes and wishes or something you're trying to accomplish that involves a group of some description. On the 5th, however, your responsibilities at work are going to feel like shackles, which will force you to confront them directly and institute a change of course.

Inspiration is possible on the 7th, but make sure it's within the bounds of possibility. Even if it's a complete fantasy, however, enjoy it for what its worth. Mercury goes into Taurus, your 2nd House, on the 9th, which will assist you in acquiring information and thinking about how to handle any financial issues you're trying to solve, and this is also the day of that Full Moon discussed earlier. On the 10th keep a sharp eye out for opportunities.

On the 11th Venus backs into Pisces, thus stirring things up those things you've been neglecting in your 12th House of spirituality, transcendence, confinement and inspiration. If you've been ignoring something in this area that is keeping you from the soul-satisfaction you need, Venus is trying to help you put you finger on it, so take some time to give it some thought. More information pertaining to your career and its affect on your finances should surface about this same time, which may help you make a few decisions. Expect some surprises in this area, including what may be a chance to break free from anything holding you back, on the 15th, along with some good ,old-fashioned inspiration to feed your dreams. Venus goes direct on the 16th, which should help you get things figured out even further.

Right around the 18th some good news or ideas pertaining to your responsibilities will come your way. The next day, the Sun moves into Taurus, which will shift emphasis to your finances and possessions. Note as the Sun goes through the various signs that he shines his light on that part of your life as defined by the house it represents, which over the course of a year should cover just about everything. Anything we miss or ignore will be addressed as the planets go retrograde.

On April 21st Venus will conjunct Mars, right on the edge of your 12th House. This encounter should bring further enlightenment regarding all those things that are on your mind these days, and when Mars goes into Aries on the 22nd you should have plenty of drive and energy to move forward to what by now you should have figured out. On the 23rd expect a challenge of some description, though once again you'll be able to find out some things you didn't know previously, either directly or through synthesizing what you already know. This could be one of those "Aha!" moments that could have a transformation effect on you, so don't ignore it. Venus enters Aries on the 24th, which will bring something good your way, though this is also when the New Moon occurs, so remember that challenges are also on the way, though they shouldn't be unsurmountable. Remember to scrutinize any information at this time to assure it's accurate and expect some sort of challenge to come your way relative to your career.

This will be a busy and eventful month during which you'll be confronted with a variety of decisions. The way you handle them will set the course for the coming year and beyond, so take them seriously. Using that Mars energy to move forward is favored, but make sure you have accurate information before doing anything you can't undo or revoke.
