This month your Sign Ruler, Saturn, will be in trine with Pluto who recently moved into your Natural 1st House of personality. This is likely to have a strong influence, though much of it may be below the level of conscious thought. Saturn is a bit of a task-master, which you undoubtedly already know, and he's currently hanging out in Virgo, which represents your 9th House of beliefs as well as more mundane items such as higher education, long distance travel, and legal matters. Pluto is all about transformation, so while this bad boy transits Capricorn you're going to find out things about yourself that you never realized before. The thing to remember this month is that this collusion between Saturn and Pluto is a harmonious trine, which should provide more help than hindrance. Saturn is retrograde, which will internalize most of this action, allowing your subconscious to do the bulk of the work. There should be a surge of thought activity in this area between April 17 - 21 as Mercury creates a Grand Earth Trine with the other two, a very stable, responsible, and practical aspect if there ever was one. Of course these are qualities that most Cappies have down to an art-form, so it should be a relatively comfortable manifestation. So what does this mean to you? Hell if I know, but I'll give it a shot. Since I'm a fellow Cappy, this interests me as well. As Pluto travels through our 1st House, he'll be revealing things about ourselves that we either missed, were blind to, or simply hadn't thought about before. Needless to say, a large part of who and what we are hinges on our core beliefs. Saturn is all about responsibility, obligations, authority and sometimes delays, and he's over there in the 9th where our beliefs, including such things as political or religious beliefs, dwell, along with our higher education, long distance travel and legal matters, as already noted. (Forgive me for repeating myself, but I know it's a pain to look back if you don't have this stuff committed to memory.) If we're on the verge of a major personal transformation over the next several years, it makes sense that our beliefs will be transforming as well, and this month in particular there's some extra help in that regard from our zodiacal friends. What these beliefs will be about is the question that we'd all like answered. Since Mercury will be in Taurus for the Grand Trine, and Taurus is our Natural 5th House of creativity, children, ego, speculation, entertainment, and love life, I would say just pick one and that is likely to be a candidate to be affected in a very firm and perhaps personally transforming way. Prior to the 18th, however, Mercury will spend his time in Aries, your 4th House of home environment. This is likely to pull a lot of thought and communication energy toward this part of your life, whether it relates to your physical home or the people in it. Things are likely to be busy in this venue and an Aries Mercury is going to make any conversations or thoughts direct and not loaded down with fluff. It's also a good time to take care of any repairs or maintenance that needs to be done around the ol' homestead. Take note that Mercury is not alone, by any means. Venus is there as well from April 7th through month's end, and the Sun is there until the 20th, when he moves into Taurus. Venus is a benefic planet, while Mercury and the Sun are considered neutral. However, the aspects Venus will make this month are to planets that are not considered friendly. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's not necessarily good, either. The New Moon occurs in Aries on April 5th, implying something new in this area as well. Venus usually relates to either our affections or our finances and in our home environment both of these apply, so these aspects could go either way. Not a big help, I know, but that's the way it is. Between April 7 - 10, Venus will square Pluto. This is likely to unearth some personal introspection relative either to how we relate to family members or handle our finances. At the same time, Venus will quincunx Saturn, which could necessitate an adjustment to our beliefs in this area as well, though any one of those 9th House issues could also be the topic (and this time I'm not going to spell them out again.) From April 20 - 30, Venus and Mars will be squared off, which doesn't bode very well for male-female relationships, especially since Mars is in our 7th House of relationships. While Mars in the 7th, more than likely we'll be more prone to conflict with all our relationships, anyway, so this may simply seem like business as usual. Mars doesn't move out of Cancer until May 10 and that's just the way it's gonna be until then. Your best bet is to use the energy in a positive manner, such as being assertive (as opposed to aggressive) in either pursuing relationships of interest or bringing issues to the table for existing relationships in a manner that can open a dialog without creating open conflict. At the very end of the month, between April 29-30, Venus will take her turn at a Grand Trine with Saturn and Pluto, which will hopefully bring resolution to these issues in a harmonious way. It can't hurt to have a smooth flow of energy between your personality, home environment and relationships. If we all had that on an ongoing basis, our lives would be relatively easy. The Sun, which usually represents our ego, will also be in your 4th House, which tends to throw extra light and emphasis on that particular area. In addition, Jupiter is in your 1st House or personality, egging this along even further. For the first half of the month, the Sun will square Mars while later in the month Mars and Jupiter will be in opposition. If part of this sounds somewhat familiar, it's because the Sun, Venus and Mercury are all traveling together through Aries this month and will thus throw similar aspects to the slower moving planets such as Saturn and Pluto. The bottom line is more conflicts in the home regarding your relationships. Remember that relationships in this respect includes everyone with whom you interact on a one-on-one basis. This could be your significant other, close friends or relatives, business partners, etc. The Readers Digest version of all this is that you may be tripping over your ego a bit, or perhaps, if you've allowed others to take advantage of you in the past, you'll finally assert yourself and tell them how the cow at the cabbage. Your fondest dreams for what you hope to achieve someday and have in the way of financial security will play a part in here as well, at least between April 8 - 20, though it looks as if the bottom line will be beneficial as far as these things are concerned. The last half of the month the Sun will be in a harmonious trine to Pluto, which implies that you'll know yourself a little better by the end of the month and be more on target with where you want to go. As far as your relationships are concerned, as previously mentioned, expect some dialogs that can be either assertive or aggressive and confrontational, depending on how they're handled. You're likely to want to move forward and see some changes, especially during the second half of the month. What you want is likely to be in opposition to what those close to you want, so conflict of some description is inevitable. Negotiating will be essential; strive for a win-win situation as much as possible without sacrificing what you want in your heart. Adjustments to your dreams may be required on one side or the other, so be as open minded as you can in seeking a peaceful solution. The Full Moon on April 20 is in Scorpio, your 11th House of group interactions, friends, organizations as well as hopes and wishes. A Full Moon usually indicates a culmination of some sort, so one of your compromises may be to finish off an obligation in one of these areas that gets in the way of activities higher on your list of priorities. This month there's a lot going on with you personally as you continue to get to know yourself better and identify what you really want out of life. Cappy's like material security, so this will be a blend of material items in a mix with your relationships and other interests. Career is always important, as well as your status in the community, so these aren't things you'll be giving up willingly anytime soon, and if you did it would probably have far-reaching repercussions of a psychological nature. If you have a family, this is all going to be centered around your home. Aries|Taurus|Gemini|Cancer|Leo|Virgo|Libra|Scorpio|Sagittarius|Capricorn|Aquarius|Pisces |
