Influences of the 11th house include friends, groups, organizations, networking, hopes, wishes and goals. This is a time when someone new, a new involvement with a group, or a new goal could come into your life. Some also consider it the house of big gains. This is an excellent time to get out there and network, meet some new friends, or get involved in a new group or organization. Checking on the status of your goals or making some new ones are also favored.	Influences of the 6th house include work, health, service, employees and pets. A Full Moon in this house can bring the culmination of a project or perhaps even a position. For example, with hard aspects it could bring an end to a job or, with favorable ones, a shift to another one. (Promotions are usually 10th house.) If you're ready to make a change in your life, it's an excellent time to work on your diet or fitness plan or see a healthcare professional if you haven't been feeling up to par. Pets could be involved in some way as well.

NEW MOON

Compared to last month, this one is rather bland with nothing much going on other than the usual lunations. That ongoing square between Saturn and Uranus is now one let of a T-square thanks to Venus and Mars, who are moving toward a conjunction in Leo. This tension has been going on for a while, but will end a few days after the New Moon when Venus and Mars move on toward a conjunction on 14 July. Their contribution to the T-square is likely to represent unwelcome input to this long-standing argument between Saturn, ruler of tradition and authority figures, and Uranus, the cosmic rebel, who's trying to institute change or disruptions which are getting considerable resistance. This Venus-Mars conjunction makes me smile, especially in Leo, the zodiacal 5th house which includes romance. If you have any planets around 20 degrees, this might bring a relationship issue of some description your way. Also note that this couple will make a very pretty picture in the predawn sky as morning stars, or perhaps a morning couple. This time of year in the Northern Hemisphere, however, predawn is definitely at an early hour when most of us aren't up and about. So, depending on how dedicated you are to astronomical viewing coupled with the odds of having a clear view of the eastern horizon without any clouds or light pollution, I would guess that most of us are going to miss it.

Note that when Venus is the morning star she is considered the goddess of war (Wonder Woman, perhaps) as opposed to the goddess of love. And even more interesting, Mars IS the god of war, so no telling what these two will bring. Sounds like the Justice League may be up to something, right?

Back to the lunation chart, the new moon is forming a semisextile with these two, which typically indicates friction or an irritation. There have been so many so far this year, it probably will just blend in with the rest of the noise. Those two are squaring Uranus, as part of the T-square noted earlier, so maybe that Justice League analogy is more accurate than I originally intended. As always, time will tell.

Mercury is in the final degrees of Gemini, where he's been for quite a while given his recent retrograde. We can use all the logic and information we can get in these days of fake news, so enjoy it while it lasts. His quincunx with Pluto implies an adjustment or change of course as previously hidden information makes an appearance as Pluto continues in roto-rooter retrograde mode. Mercury's square to Neptune shows his valiant fight against delusions, illusions, and fake news/misinformation. That, too, will end as he goes into Cancer so hopefully he'll get the job done before that happens. Of course this is more a matter of you getting the job done and listening, discerning, and considering what's going on behind the scenes or beneath the surface and making sure you're seeing things clearly.

FULL MOON

The Full Moon on 23 July is in Aquarius, the sign that represents the zodiacal 11th house of friends, organizations, goals, groups, networking, and goals. This suggests the end of a project at that level coupled with whatever house it represents for you as noted above. As the Sun goes into Leo on the 22nd he immediately forms a quincunx to Jupiter in Pisces. There have been a lot of this awkward, unstable aspect lately, which usually demands an adjustment, change of course, or perhaps even a Catch-22. It's an unstable aspect where the signs have nothing in common by element or modality and there's no telling how it will resolve. In most cases it's as difficult to predict as Uranus. Jupiter is comfortable in Pisces as its traditional ruler, but he's retrograde and heading back to Aquarius to take care of some unfinished business. This is a tough one to delineate because Jupiter tends to expand what he touches rather than having a true personality of his own, other than being a bit of a buffoon that exaggerates. The Sun, likewise, reflects (pun intended) the personality of the sign he occupies. In this case that's Leo, who tends to be the center of attention and king of the roost. So anyone in that particular position is likely to be put on an even high pedestal or seen as bigger than life.

Mercury has been on the move now that all that retrograde business is behind him (another pun--sorry) and he's now trining Neptune from Cancer! So how he's in cahoots with Neptune and throwing a bunch of emotional energy out there. He's opposing Pluto, which implies a strong emotional reaction to anything Pluto has thrown out there.

Venus is now in Virgo, her least favorite sign, where her more usual pleasing nature becomes naggy and critical. She's opposing Jupiter, clearly not impressed with whatever he's all puffed up about. Her quincunx with the lunation suggests a change of course based on details related to a group or organization while she essentially tells Jupiter to "get over it."

The sextile between Neptune and Pluto suggests opportunities to use your imagination and take control of whatever it is you are striving for. It can also be useful for such things as forgiveness where Neptune and Pisces' compassionate side are directed at whatever nastiness Pluto may have unearthed. Pluto is the planet of transformation so this applies to yourself as well and letting go of anger and hate toward others as well as anything you don't like about yourself.

So that's about it for this month. Of course it's never that simple, but that's what the lunations have to say and as the ruler of function, they're usually the trigger for events on both a personal and mundane level. Remember that Cancer is a cardinal sign, the start of a new season, and where things change.
