This month's Full Moon in Libra on 11 April suggests you'll encounter something that involves one or more relationships, given that sign rules such things. Remember, also, that a Full Moon typically indicates an ending, culmination, or shift to a new phase. Since you interact with people several areas of you life, this makes sense, whether it relates to the people next door, your job, friends, school, income, or whatever. The troublesome T-squares continue, those outer planets moving slowly enough that they maintain such things for a long time. This is how major trends develop and play out, but when they're as annoying as these have been, it certainly can get old. To refresh your memory, this one suggests difficulties taking control of something you would like to pursue which is also likely to involve others, either directly or indirectly, perhaps even simply that you're bucking up against unfavorable opinions or lack of support. If someone in authority is doing something like that, you are probably just about to the point, or possibly already there, where you are ready to fight for what you want. Breaking away if favored, but not necessarily easily.

Even if people aren't holding you back, other obstacles are likely; unfortunately, Saturn stationed retrograde a few days before this lunation, which is notorious for delays, boundaries, and slowing things down generally, and Mercury stationed retrograde 9 April, so this isn't obviously in your favor, either. However, Mercury RX is an excellent time to rethink, revise, reconsider, and redo. If you're changing course, then this is well-advised, even if it means you can't get moving in the direction you want immediately. Mercury is in Taurus, which isn't known for it's speed but it is for persistence and determination, which suggests once you make up your mind, nothing is going to change it. Mars in Taurus as well is like a bulldozer, which may not move quickly, but will not let anything get in its way. Venus, still retrograde and back in her favorite sign of Pisces, is another indicator of fighting for what you want and she's ready to take on anyone holding you back.

An aspect pattern I call a Course Adjustment Loop and sometimes referred to as a Learning Triangle, is out there, which implies a change of course is favored, which will help to some degree.  This will come about when you have finally had enough and make up your mind, once and for all, to take control and pursue your own direction. So there are some definite themes in this lunation, which bode nicely if you're tired of the status quo.

NEW MOON

The New Moon on 26 April is in Taurus, a Fixed, Earth sign that enjoins patience and determination. Mercury is still retrograde and conjunct Uranus in Aries, which suggests rethinking or reconsidering an impulsive action, perhaps attempting to undo something that didn't turn out as you had hoped. They are both trining Saturn, which has recently stationed retrograde, a time to rebuild and restructure. Venus is now direct and in the last degree of Pisces, where she is exalted. Venus is now the morning star, rising before the Sun, a time when various ancient cultures considered her the goddess of war as opposed to love. She is squaring Saturn, ruler of authority figures, responsibility, and tradition, suggesting conflicts in that area. Power trips and struggles are afflicting relationships where such has not been worked out in a fair and defined manner, but inspiration can help sort things out, if both parties are willing to make the necessary adjustments. Moving forward in a logic manner, based in data as opposed to feelings or emotion, could be the appropriate path, of which there are more than one. In other words, there is more than one way to solve the current problem.

OTHER COSMIC EVENTS

Three planets station retrograde this month (Saturn, Mercury & Pluto); one stations direct (Venus); and one is ongoing (Jupiter). Saturn stations retrograde on 6 April at 27:48 Sagittarius. Saturn RX typically indicates an area of your life that needs to be redefined and restructured, depending on in which house the event occurs. For Capricorn, Sagittarius represents your 12th house of spirituality, enlightenment, your subconscious mind, the collective consciousness, seclusion, confinement, hidden enemies, and self-defeating behaviors. Since Saturn is your sign ruler, this gives him additional importance. If your birthday is right around 18 January this station will have slightly more influence. This is a time to assess the situation in this part of your life. Your life thrives on balance, and if you've been neglecting your spirituality (probably because you're working too hard) then now is the time to figure out how you can work self-renewal into your life on a regular basis. If you sabotage yourself through lack of confidence, this is another thing to look at closely. Breakthroughs in this area can lead to a major change and new beginning.

The station chart contains an aspect pattern I call a Course Adjustment Loop and is sometimes referred to as a Learning Triangle. Another possibly neglected area of your life could be your 5th house which includes your creativity, children, romance, self-identity, self-expression, entertainment and speculation. Again, if you're a typical Cappy workaholic, this is very likely to be the case. Ultimately, better balance will benefit your career, not detract from it. With three planets stationing retrograde this month, they will all be working together, their influences overlapping, so consider what the Universe is trying to tell you. Mercury retrograde is the shortest and therefore the quickest to yield some useful information regarding what that may be, so start there as well as Venus stationing direct, covered last.

Mercury stations a few days later on 9 April at 04:51 Taurus. Mercury RX is the time to rethink redo, refine, reconsider, edit, or revise and not so good to begin a new endeavor. This is a time to look back and assess where you are and re-plan as required to achieve your objectives. If your birthday is right around 27 December this station trines your natal Sun from your 5th house of creativity, ego definition, children, creativity, speculation, and entertainment. Note that this conflicts somewhat with the New Moon in this house which suggests starting a new endeavor. However, this may be a time when you pick up something you set aside previously and didn't finish, or needs revision. This is a lot of help in this part of your life, provided you use it properly. Starting something brand new is not favored, but finishing something up or rethinking it is. Since both occur in your 5th house, also relevant to Saturn's message, give some serious consideration to this part of your life. Mars's presence in that house provides energy and drive, but that may be contingent on some transformational changes with regard to your view of the world or perhaps your self-confidence. Take some time to figure out how you feel about your career and status and what changes may be in order there as well.

Pluto stations retrograde 20 April at 19:24 Capricorn. His message is often one of elimination, to get rid of something you no longer need, whether it involves cleaning out the garage or attic, getting rid of old baggage, or perhaps relationships that no longer serve a constructive purpose. Capricorn is your first house which relates to your personality and how others see you as well as you and your life generally. Pluto has been tromping through your sign for several years and if your birthday is right around 10 January, he is currently grinding away on your natal Sun. As a fellow Cappy who went through that transit a few years ago, I can tell you that it tends to be life-changing. This station could be painful, but it has a message, and when you ignore what it's trying to say, it's even more painful. It's been said that a Pluto transit seldom kills you, but you may want it to. Some part of you is going to die and experience a rebirth during this time. Pluto's trine to Mars in Taurus suggests this relates back to the 5th house, giving it even more influence. With the Sun and Mercury in Taurus, conjunct with Mercury retrograde, this also points toward some serious rethinking. Mars in the last degree of a Fixed sign suggests this could be a now or never situation, an opportunity that won't come again. Windows of opportunity do close, so pay attention. Venus stations direct 15 April at 26:55 Pisces. Since Pisces is the sign where she is exalted, and thus functions at top efficiency, it's almost like she didn't like Aries, a sign of her debility, and decided to go back to where she was comfortable for a while before heading out into the cold, cruel world. Her station chart implies an opportunity to take action restructuring and rebuilding some part of your life, which hands off nicely to the planets above who station retrograde. Pisces is your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors, and local travel. Venus stationing there should bring something good your way, provided you don't sabotage it with negative thinking. Her retrograde gigs tend to relate to defining what you value, which of course ties back to everything else these retrogrades are trying to teach you. Pisces as your house of thought is a bit ironic for a practical, down-to-earth sign like Capricorn, but it shows you are capable of "thinking outside the box" if you'll just listen. Not everything in life is tangible or logical. Make room for such in your life and you'll be surprised at the outcome.
