Yes, she loves to write. And she loves the cosmos in all its many dimensions.

Now the next part.  Everything significant that she has done has been directed at enhancing her ability to write one specific thing. This desire drove her to get that Bachelor's Degree in physics, work at NASA and even study astrology.

Okay. Here it is.

Put all that together and what comes out is that Whobeda's first love is writing science fiction. She wrote her first science fiction stories at Toddville Elementary in Peekskill, New York when she was in 6th grade. It took a while after that to get back to it, but she did. (Childhood dreams don't tend to die unless you suffocate them.) Back in 1986 she received "Best Novel" award in a Utah statewide writing contest for her novel, The Capture of Phaethon.* She has also written four SF novels for young adults in a series known as the Star Trails Tetralogy. Currently three of the four novels are available in ebook and print format on Amazon.com and Barnes & Nobles.  You can learn about the individual stories and ordering information through the links below as well as the website for the books which you can view at www.StarTrailsSaga.com.  With the asteroid named for Kalliope, the muse for writing, conjunct her natal ascendant it's no wonder she was essentially born with a pen in her hand.  Having the Moon and Uranus in Gemini in her 10th natal house of career it was inevitable that she'd have two concurrent careers with an unusual spin.

Better yet buy one!  As you may already know, her ebooks related to astrology are already out there for Kindle and most of them for Nook. The 4th book in the science fiction series, "Refractions of Frozen Time," will hopefully be out early in 2015.  She eventually plans to get back into writing non-fiction and specifically about astrology. It's working title is Reciprocal Energy: Exploring the Physics of Astrology.  It's going to take a while to pull that one together but it's time for her to combine her background in physics and astrology into a written work. Status updates will be posted to this website as the work progresses. She has given talks on the subject at the online conference Breaking Down the Borders 2 and the Astrological Society of Austin (Texas).

*It was actually while she was writing Phaethon that she got into astrology. As a physicist she thought it was a bunch of nonsense but started researching it to develop a flakey character in that novel. In the process she became converted, eventually leading to her graduation from the International Academy of Astrology and her second career.
