| This month's busy one which
means it's likely to be notable.
The New Moon has some very provocative aspects, Pluto stations
direct that same day, Mercury is retrograde until the 18th when
Jupiter also stations direct, plus Saturn stations direct on the
10th. Retrograde planets internalize their energy, so when they
go direct things start to happen. NEW MOON The New Moon on 6 October looks very interesting indeed. As always for a New Moon, the Sun and Moon are conjunct, but they're joined by Mars as well, all in the same degree of 13 Libra. As if that weren't interesting enough, all three are quincunx Uranus, the planet of sudden change, disruptions, disturbances, rebellion, and so forth. Mars is the planet of action, though he's a bit subdued in Libra where he has to be more polite and less aggressive. Libra generally tries to be as uncontroversial as possible, promoting fairness, balance, and justice. Libra rules relationships and prefers harmony and avoid confrontation. Thus, this may tone this energy down a bit, but it still is likely to kick off something noteworthy. For those of you living in the USA, this lunation hits the U.S. Sibly chart like a train. Don't be surprised if there's another one of those infamous "government shutdowns" due to arguments over budget issues. Actually, if the government shut down it would be a good thing due to all the insanity going on these days. Mercury retrograde is still busy as he has been for a while, retracing his steps to continue interacting with Pluto, Jupiter, and Neptune. Mercury retrograde is about rethinking, reconsidering, revising, redoing, and reverting. It's a time to give serious thought to anything that isn't working or done right the first time. It's the Cosmic gift to procrastinators, who can now go back and do those things they put off before and perfect for finishing up old projects. The square to Pluto, who is still in roto-rooter retrograde mode, suggests resistance to rethinking things that have been deliberately hidden and perhaps were wrong or underhanded. Jupiter retrograde, as I've mentioned numerous times, tends to relate to ethics issues. the trine there suggests these will be reviewed in a fair and balanced way. The quincunx to Neptune implies a change of direction or adjustment regarding any confusion or matters that were delusional. If this lunation aspects your natal Sun you can expect to take action in a new direction by assessing past information you may have ignored or misunderstood. PLUTO STATIONS DIRECT A little over 7 hours after the New Moon on 6 October, Pluto stations direct. Thus, the majority of aspects noted for the New Moon are still in effect for this chart, giving it a lot of the lunation's energy. By this time the Moon is moving out of aspect to Uranus and now trining Jupiter. This should give those ethics issues a boost. More on Jupiter below for when he stations direct. SATURN STATIONS DIRECT When Saturn is retrograde it tends to relate to something that needs to be rebuilt or restructured. When he stations direct on 10 October the time arrives when the process of rebuilding or restructuring begins. Saturn is not aspected by any other planets in the station chart. This leave him entirely on his own, which in many respects makes him stronger since he doesn't have to blend his energy with any outside influences. He's in traditional dignity in Aquarius, so he functions nicely in this sign. With the world in general in total chaos, it's a nice thought that maybe things will start to improve. It's more likely that at best it will perhaps involve cleaning up the mess first. Saturn retrograde slows everything down, throwing obstacles, boundaries, and limitations in the way. Some of these may begin to go away. For those of you trying to rebuild or restructure a life that has been turned upside down by government interference in your personal life, now is the time to take charge. How many are now unemployed for not taking the COVID vaccination? A vaccine that doesn't guarantee you won't get COVID, plus you can pass it on to others, yet the people refusing this insanity are the ones losing their jobs. Neptune has been working overtime with the fog machine and the square to him from the Sagittarius Moon shows knowledge and truth are still being resisted on this matter. Mercury RX is now working with Uranus to get that changed. JUPITER STATIONS DIRECT Jupiter stations direct on 18 October with Mercury following suit just under ten hours later. Jupiter retrograde relates to ethics issues which is a broad topic, to say the least. Any sort of lying or cheating at any level falls in that range. Jupiter as ruler of Sagittarius relates to your belief system. This includes religion, politics, your beliefs and expectations, and how you interact with society in general. The BS has been so thick the past year and a half that we need hip-waders to slog through it all. It's a sure bet that every one of us has been duped in some manner. Truth is being suppressed by "fact checkers" and sources of information that we should be able to trust are lying like never before. This results in some serious cognitive dissonance. Venus in Sagittarius, the planet that represents your needs, is in the sign that represents knowledge. She's telling you this is a time to question everything. Her quincunx to Uranus suggests an adjustment is recommended. Seek out other sources of information. Then decide which one is telling the truth and why or why not? Lying tends to have an agenda that is not in your best interest, no matter what level it's on. Now is the time to find out exactly what's going on and whether you agree with it or not. Mars is quincunx Neptune from Libra, saying it's time to turn off the fog machine. A semisextile between Jupiter and Neptune shows this will create friction. People don't like being lied to. The Moon is void of course, however, which often indicates nothing much will happen, at least immediately. Nonetheless, use this energy to identify anything in your belief system that is exacerbating other obstacles. MERCURY STATIONS DIRECT During the time between when Jupiter and Mercury station the moon changes signs from Pisces to Aries. She is forming an aspect pattern known as a Triangle of Potential with the Lunar Nodes. These often function as gateways, where something is left behind in favor of moving forward toward something new. With the North Node in logical Gemini, this bodes well for truth and accurate information coming out while the South Node in Sagittarius implies leaving some philosophy behind. Venus is still quincunx Uranus and her movement of about a half-degree has put her in range of a quincunx to that obnoxious asteroid, Wuhan. This creates a yod with Venus at the eye. This implies a change that addresses finding what you need to deal with the pandemic and all the ill-effects it had wrought. Uranus is the planet of rebellion and breaking free. Are all the restrictions working for you or your business? Why are governments using a disease that is 99.6% survivable with available cures to push a toxic vaccine and shut down society? If you haven't questioned this maybe it's time you did. Mercury stationing direct is when all the inaccurate information that was previously shoved down your throat is revealed. That Aries Moon is ready to rock and make things happen. If you've done your homework, you'll be ready. FULL MOON The Full Moon on 20 October is also in Aries. Remember the fundamental meaning of a Full Moon is a culmination, ending, or shift to a new phase. That yod with Uranus, Wuhan, and Venus is still in effect. The lunation is forming a T-square with Pluto, which stationed the same day as the New Moon. This indicates tension related to power and control. If at the personal level you're trying to take control of your life, this Aries Full Moon will give you some help. Mars is conjunct the Sun and also squaring Pluto, showing there's substantial push-back. Mars in Libra is not a happy camper. If he had a face, its expression would be the one your dog or cat gives you when you dress them up for Halloween. And speaking of Halloween, that's the day when he gets out of Libra debility jail and goes into Scorpio. He's the traditional ruler of that sign, so look out. That is where his rip-roaring passion will break loose. Mercury is trining Saturn, albeit a bit loosely and separating, but hopefully providing objective and accurate information with regard to rebuilding. One thing about all this Libra energy is that it does tend to be rather neutral and nonconfrontational. As these planets move into Scorpio, however, the fireworks is likely to begin. Stock up on food, water, firewood, and popcorn because things are going to get very interesting.
