FULL MOON A Full Moon, as noted above, tends to bring an ending, culmination, or shift to a new phase. Given how this year has gone so far, we can always hope that this will bring favorable news. At the least, there should be a few surprises and disruptions, though whether or not they'll be beneficial is open to debate. This hails from the T-square the lunation forms with Uranus, the planet that simply loves to keep things stirred up. Hopefully, the luminaries will carry enough punch to get this bad boy and his rebellious streak under control. With all parties in Fixed Signs, however, this shows considerable resistance. If you read the Daily Astrocasts, you've already heard how annoyances based on what you want versus the likelihood of receiving it, have been profuse. This is likewise a component of the Full Moon, with restructuring after a substantial delay the cosmic response. The caveat here is figuring out whether that means the delay is over, or entering a new phase of going back yet again to the drawing board. A change of course is recommended so that is likely to be what determines which way it goes. If you refuse to make a few adjustment, then you may, indeed, be stuck. Mars is the planet that rules action. He's in his home sign, Aries, which means his energy is strong and not hindered by his sign placement. That, however, doesn't mean that aspects from his fellow planets won't step in with some complications. This is, indeed, the situation, with Mars currently squaring Jupiter in Capricorn, which suggest there will be no expansion at this time. A square is also being thrown to Pluto and that nasty Wuhan asteroid. Will this stop them? Or the opposite, where efforts to combat the virus are thwarted? Which will prevail? A lot of energy is hanging out in Capricorn, but each of them is retrograde. To me, this looks promising since Mars in Aries is a powerful force while the Capricorn planets are not running on all cylinders. The semisextile between Mars and Neptune promises some friction or irritations along with confusion, which suggests more fake news or misinformation relative to resolution. Mercury is in partile opposition to Saturn retrograde in Capricorn. An opposition implies the need for balance. Mercury in Cancer tends to be rather emotional, but as the ruler of the natural 6th house of health, this could likewise bring positive change and more information. There have been numerous suspicious contradictions during this pandemic which deserve an explanation. Venus in logical Gemini is demanding data and a restructuring of the institutions that contributed to this mess that has ravaged peoples' lives, likelihoods, and the economy as well. NEW MOON The New Moon on 18 August is in Leo and part of a Course Adjustment Loop with numerous participants. This is the aspect pattern that usually denotes the need for a change of course when progress is being compromised. This stoppage is likely represented by the square between Mars and both Saturn and Pluto. Mars may be experiencing some pushback, but the Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Leo are making their wishes known in no uncertain terms and forcing an adjustment. With that trio helping Mars, a positive outcome looks like a reasonable expectation. Uranus and Venus are in partile sextile denoting an opportunity for sudden change that contributes to your comfort level. Neptune is in partile sextile with Wuhan, which isn't exactly encouraging. Neptune rules such things as viruses, so these two getting together isn't good, neither the sextile to Jupiter. At least Jupiter is retrograde, internalizing his energy to a philosophical vibe. We can always hope that this represents an opportunity for full disclosure on what this major disturbance to the world has been all about. OTHER COSMIC EVENTSA few days before the New Moon on 15 August, Uranus stations retrograde. This suggests the possibility that all hell could break loose. Uranus is unaspected, which makes this event even stronger because there is nothing else mitigating it. The Course Adjustment Loop described for the New Moon is already in place, i.e. the one that describes obstacles that need to be overcome and could relate to combatting the virus. Also in place for the station chart is a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God," which tends to have a fated flavor. Wuhan is at the base sextile Neptune with Jupiter conjunct that insidious asteroid. Mercury is at the eye and conjunct the Sun, which is quincunx Pluto. While a quincunx is hard to predict since it has a very Uranian energy that is unstable and can go either way, when two of them combine in a yod the direction of change is more defined. In this case, that's the Mercury/Sun eye in Leo, which is demanding full disclosure.I don't know about you, but I've smelled a rat with this pandemic situation from the start. The stink especially reeks with regard to the treatment and cure. Studies have shown that early treatment with a certain drug combined with two other components has been proved successful. Reputable doctors have witnessed the same, but have been silences or censored. Articles and denials, however, continue to come out. If you trust Big Pharma, then you might want to think again. The "cure" is an inexpensive drug from which little profit would be made, even if used to treat hundreds of thousands of cases. On the other hand, how much can be made from a vaccine, then make it mandatory on hundred of millions, even billions, of people? If you think that the pharmaceutical industry has any interest in your health you are sadly mistaken. Their raison d'etre is to be profitable, which only occurs with sickness, not health. "Healthcare" has got to be one of the most laughable misnomers of all time. It would be really easy for me to go off on a rant about this, but I'll spare you. I try to remain politically neutral, even though I definitely have some rather strong opinions about numerous matters and policies. My point here is that people's health should not be politicized or held for ransom. There is far more behind this pandemic (appropriately dubbed plandemic) and various other things going on in the world today than meet the eye. Astrologers, myself included, have known for years that Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn would expose corruption that would eventually be laid before the world. Remember that Pluto exposes and removes corruption while Saturn breaks down existing structure and rebuilds. This is not all about the virus, though it's a major component. And when what they unearthed is made known, don't expect the bad guys to go down without a fight. Neptune in Pisces has exacerbated fake news, confusion, and thrown a thick, impenetrable fog out there for everyone to stumble through. That said, "Seek and ye shall find" and "Ask and ye shall receive" are two promises that are always kept. Have the courage to accept the truth when it's revealed.
