The first cosmic event this month of many is Venus stationing direct on September 6.  This occurs in fellow Fire Sign, Leo, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, legal matters, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation.  Her sojourn in this house probably related to an examination of this part of your life for what's most important enough to value the most.  Her station degree quincunxes Pluto in your 2nd house of income, possessions, comforts, needs and pleasures where he may have a similar agenda in getting you to transform this part of your life perhaps by eliminating things you no longer need.  This could bring a change of direction, perhaps as you decide something you value in the 9th, be it travel or education, is more important than income from a job you don't like, which, by the way, is part of the 6th house which is ruled by Venus.  The Sun and Jupiter are in your 10th house of status, reputation, and public image which suggest an expansion in that area as you deal with these issues.  A friend or associate may be a naysayer in this regard and it's up to you to determine whether the advice is sound or not.  You're optimistic by nature but too much can lead you down a path that is filled with delusions and unrealistic expectations.  Taking action and breaking away from anything keeping you from being your authentic self is favored at this time as well.

The New Moon in Virgo on September 13 is also a solar eclipse, adding to its strength and staying power, which can last for months.  This is your 10th house again as defined earlier.  An adjustment or Catch-22 is possible but what you've redefined as far as your belief system or attitude is concerned can help you head in the right direction as you follow the lessons provided by Venus retrograde and Pluto.  While a friend or associate may be able to help you sort things out, this may not be through agreement but by pointing out something you don't like or agree with in such a way that it's clarified as contrasting views often do.

Of course, just as you're starting to figure things out, Mercury goes retrograde on September 17 in Libra, your 11th house of goals, friends, networking, groups and organizations.  It's also possible that this is when you start to put the pieces together from these other transits and decide to change course, which will require a plan of action.  A few annoyances related to your career may infuse some tension and perhaps precipitate a confrontation where you adamantly express yourself.  If you work in an industry that has ethical issues at the forefront, this could be one of the things you decide to address.  Authenticity continues to be emphasized but remember to be realistic but without being over-critical, either; seek balance.

The Sun goes into Libra on September 23 marking the vernal equinox in the Southern Hemisphere and autumnal equinox in the Northern and thus the start of a new season.  This occurs whenever the Sun goes into a Cardinal sign and sets the tone for the coming three months.  The ingress chart itself is important for mundane and geo-political astrology as well as weather prediction.  Mercury retrograde in the ingress chart suggests a lack of progress but more of a time when reviewing and revising will occur with some rebuilding as well.

Pluto stations direct on September 25 which will help bring the past few months' ruminations to the surface.  You may finally be figuring out what you want to do, but there are likely to be some obstacles and of course Mercury RX is not a time conducive to new endeavors.  I hope you already know that buying anything mechanical or electronic during this time is a bad idea.  Continue to incorporate your new insights into your action plan and gather the information you need to do it right.

The Full Moon on September 27 in fellow Fire sign, Aries, is a lunar eclipse.  This is your 5th house of creativity, ego definition, children, romance, entertainment and speculation.  As an eclipse, this lunation also has more punch and will form an aspect pattern known as a Triangle of Potential with your natal Sun if your birthday is right around November 27, giving you some additional leverage for defining your goals.  Expressing yourself and any newly defined beliefs is favored but you may be a bit on your own and lack support from those above you.  It's still a time of redefining, review and reconsideration, especially if you've been a bit over-confident or pushy in which case that resistance is likely to increase.  However, this can reinforce your resolve and be beneficial in the long run as you pursue your developing agenda.
