The first cosmic event of note this month of many is Venus stationing direct in Leo, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel.  She's been doing the backstroke for the past month and a half and it will be good to have her moving forward again.  Venus RX typically directs ruminations toward what you value, perhaps enough to fight for.  Sometimes the things that mean the most to us get lost in the drudgery of everyday living and it's good to reassess how well we're staying in step with what we truly want from time to time.  Mars has spent quite a bit of the time in Leo as well, providing some relationship implications as well.  Venus stations quincunx Pluto in Capricorn, your 8th house of transformations, shared resources, debt, death and rebirth, things you suppress, and intense experiences where he is accidentally dignified as the modern ruler of the natural 8th house.  This suggests your ruminations facilitated by Venus could ultimately bring about a few adjustments with significant potential.  The Sun is in Virgo, your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories, endings and new beginnings, further highlighting the potential for change.  Jupiter is there as well, implying an expansion of activities in that part of your life as well. 

The New Moon on September 13 is a solar eclipse which gives it more strength and staying power.  If your birthday is right around June 12 you will be affected more strongly.  The eclipse will only be visible in the southernmost tip of Africa and parts of Antarctica plus it's annular as opposed to total since the Moon is too far away to entirely cover the Sun.  Eclipse guru, Bernadette Brady, notes this eclipse family is somewhat unfriendly in that it can be stressful and require a significant amount of effort as a result which can be tiring.  This is the last thing any of us want to hear and we can always hope that's not how it will be.  On the positive side, your creativity could encounter a boost which brings about a sudden change to your goals.  A change of course is likely with opportunities attached but balance will be required, perhaps in the form of having too many balls in the air, which is somewhat typical of Gemini. 

Your sign ruler, Mercury, goes retrograde on September 17 which is par for the course once you think you've figured out what you want to do.  On the other hand, it's a good thing because a change of direction should be done with a plan to get to your goal and this is the ideal time to go back to the drawing board and redefine your ambitions.  Mercury is in Libra, your 5th house of creativity, ego definition, children, romance, entertainment and speculation so rethinking and reconsidering matters in this part of your life will be brought to your attention.  Remember not to buy anything electronic or mechanical during this time.  Starting a new endeavor is usually an exercise in futility that will require going back to square one at some point, so use this time to finish up old projects, revise your plan and prepare.  Interruptions from friends or groups are likely so decide how to manage them, perhaps by learning to simply say "No."

The Sun enters fellow Air sign, Libra, on September 23, marking the vernal equinox in the Southern Hemisphere and autumnal equinox in the Northern.  Mercury retrograde suggests this season may see some reversals or little progress.  The ingress chart tends to define the coming season and is used heavily in mundane and geo-political astrology as well as weather prediction.

Pluto stations direct on September 25 which will help bring his influences to the surface so you can incorporate them.  Pluto does a great job helping you get rid of old baggage or other things you don't need as well as take control of your life.  If you've been too accommodating to others while neglecting your own work, now is the time to make a few changes.  You're likely to want to get moving on a few things but encounter resistance.  This is in addition to Mercury RX and stems from Saturn who has just gone into Sagittarius, your 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, business professionals, competitors and open enemies.  This implies responsibilities and obligations to these others may slow things down as well, though depending on the situation could be enjoyable and beneficial.

The Full Moon on September 27 is a lunar eclipse in Aries, your 11th house of friends, goals and so forth.  Innovative thoughts are still flowing but remember Mercury is also still retrograde, pushing them in a slightly different direction.  Inspiration can bring a few adjustments and you may be chomping at the bit to get moving but patience will payoff in the long-haul.  Caring for someone older is a possibility during Saturn's trek through your 7th house along with a focus on responsibilities.  These are likely to present a variety of obstacles, but this comes back full circle to Venus retrograde and her message with regard to what you value most.  It looks as if there are some challenges on the horizon and setting your priorities accordingly will be more important than ever.
