This month the first astrological event worth noting is Mercury stationing direct in your sign on October 9.  This will occur on top of your natal Sun if your birthday is right around September 24 and thus have more significance, particularly for formulating an idea and bringing it to fruition.  Something in your subconscious may be holding you back, however.  Virgo is loaded with your sign ruler, Venus, Mars, the Moon and Jupiter, all hanging out in your 12th house of dreams, visions, your subconscious mind, the collective consciousness, seclusion, confinement, hidden enemies, institutions and self-defeating behaviors.  This brings a lot of energy to this venue and all of them are opposing Neptune in Pisces, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. 

Neptune in your 6th house suggests confusion, deception, idealism or involvement with something that could be nothing more than an illusion.  If this is the case, all those planets in Virgo can help you sort things out.  Since they're operating in the house that includes your subconscious mind, you may not even be aware of what's going on other than feeling as if you're missing something, which you probably are.  Three members of that quartet are trining Pluto in Capricorn, your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories, endings and new beginnings which suggests a transformation, dealing with something from the past, or getting rid of something you no longer need, can be helpful. 

The New Moon on October 12 is also in your Sign and parked on your natal Sun if your birthday is October 13, give or take a day.  This suggests something new coming your way, though the opposition with Uranus in your 7th house of relationships implies a few surprises and possible issues from someone in that part of your life.  The 7th includes not only your significant other but also business partners, close friends and relatives, business professionals, cliental, competitors and open enemies.  Much of the influence from Mercury's station is still in effect as well, so you'll still be dealing with that at this time.

The Full Moon on October 27 is in Taurus, your 8th house of transformations, intense experiences, debt, shared resources and things you suppress implying an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase.  You may have a break-through with regard to that subconscious issue which brings about a change of direction that could also constitute a new beginning.  If you've been working on a particular idea or something that involves any siblings, neighbors, or local travel a shift of direction is likely there as well.  This looks like a time of change that won't be easy but necessary.
