Lunations and Other Cosmic Events

This month is a little quieter as far as cosmic events are concerned but that doesn't mean there is nothing going on out there.  The New Moon on November 11 is in your sign and parked on your natal Sun if your birthday is right around the day of the lunation.  If this is part of your solar return then its effects will be in force for the entire year.  The New Moon is accompanied by Mercury which suggests news or ideas will be involved, perhaps related to a goal, group or friend and likely to have an important impact on your life.  The lunation holds down one side of the base of a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God," with the other side held down by Jupiter in Virgo, your 11th house of goals, friends, organizations, groups, hopes and wishes.  Jupiter typically has an expansive effect which implies you've had some rather big or perhaps simply inflated goals the past year or so.  Jupiter can really stir things up in Virgo, a sign that promotes details and criticism for you to obsess upon.  The eye of the yod is Uranus in Aries, your 6th house of work, health, service, employees and pets.  Uranus is hard to predict but he can relate to disruptions, breaking away, rebellion, technology, disturbances, explosions and all sorts of things.  One way this could manifest would be for news to come your way that motivates you to expand your goals and perhaps leave your current job.  There's also a possibility something will happen at work that facilitates the other.  Either way, expect a change of direction that is likely to be life-changing.

Your traditional sign ruler, Mars, is in Virgo just a sneeze away from Libra.  This suggests a last ditch attempt at a certain goal or action related to a friend or group.  Soon he will be in your 12th house which requires a bit of caution since that is the house of self-undoing and hidden enemies.  Fortunately that is the sign of his debility which slows him down a bit with other considerations.  Be particularly cautious of actions that could result in self-defeating behavior.  Venus is already in Libra where she is in dignity as its ruler.  She is sextile Saturn in Sagittarius, your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs, comforts and pleasures, which implies an opportunity in this area, perhaps as the result of a dream or vision.  This is all well and good except Saturn is in a long-term square with Neptune in Pisces, your 5th house of creative expression, ego development, children, romance, entertainment and speculation.  This aspect has the ability to cause unrealistic expectations or believe your creativity or perhaps simply you, period, has superpowers of some sort to make this happen which might be a rather large stretch.  Make sure you have one of your practical Earth Sign friends or perhaps an Air Sign heavy on logic assist you so you don't get carried away in a detrimental way.

Neptune stations direct on November 18 which may help bring some of his illusionary vibes to the surface.  He will trine your natal Sun if your birthday is right around October 31.  This could be inspirational as far as your creativity is concerned but if it inspires you to believe in fairy tales I'd proceed with caution.

The Full Moon on November 25 is in Gemini, your 8th house of transformations, death and rebirth, intense experiences, things you suppress, debt, sex and shared resources suggesting an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in that part of your life.  Also opposing the Moon along with the Sun are Saturn and Mercury, all in your 2nd house of income, possessions and so forth as defined earlier.  An opposition calls for balance and Saturn in your 2nd house will usually bring a time of restrictions, delays and obstacles relative to your finances.  Mercury may bring news of the same, so if you were planning to borrow money this is not a good sign.  Furthermore, Neptune has his finger in the pie, too, so delusions could be a factor as well.  Now is a time to deal with cold, hard facts and not even trust your usually astute intuition unless it's to be more practical and frugal toward spending.  This is where Mars in the 12th could induce you to do something you'll regret later.  There may be some way to compromise, but proceed with caution.
