Lunations and Other Cosmic Events

This month there are less cosmic events worth noting but that is not to say that there isn't quite a bit going on with just the usual garden-variety lunations.  The New Moon on November 11 is in your nextdoor neighboring sign, Scorpio, your 12th house of spirituality, visions, dreams, seclusion, confinement, institutions, your subconscious mind, the collective consciousness, hidden enemies and self-undoing which suggests something new coming your way in this part of your life.  Mercury is hanging out with the lunation so that further helps any communications for another realm coming your way.  In addition, the lunation comprises one corner of the base of an aspect pattern known as a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God," which tends to operate as a fated nudge in a new direction.  The other half of the base is maintained by your sign ruler, Jupiter, who's in fellow Mutable Sign, Virgo, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status.  Jupiter is all about expansion but he's somewhat restricted in Virgo where the propensity for detail and criticism clashes with his nature.  This could induce you to take on too much.  If your birthday is right around December 11  He's squaring your natal Sun which makes these effects stronger.  The New Moon sextile Jupiter could be a subconscious nudge toward something to benefit your career and such. 

The eye of the yod and thus the focal point is Uranus in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation.  Uranus can be quite disruptive, disturbing or erratic.  He relates to technology, innovation, freedom, rebellion, sudden change and brilliant flashes of the figurative and literal variety including explosions.  In this particular house he can be a strong influence toward breaking away from others' expectations and being your authentic self, love it or leave it.  This could be a time when you quit your day job and strike out on your own or perhaps ditch the facades and find yourself doing better than ever in your existing job or career aspirations.  Jupiter is trining Pluto who's in Capricorn, your 2nd house of income, finances, possessions, needs, comforts and pleasures where his mission is to transform this part of your life.  This typically includes ridding yourself of anything you no longer need, taking control, and resolving issues from the past.  This trine could promote some lessons learned that will also benefit your status.

Saturn is in your sign and parked on your Natal Sun if your birthday is right around November 28.  Saturn is not particularly friendly and often has a dark, heavy, depressing feeling when he's on your case.  He's not known as the Lord of Karma for nothing.  On the positive side, he's sextile Venus in Libra, your 11th house of goals, hopes, wishes, friends, groups and organizations as well as networking, which suggests opportunities coming your way from your social circle.  Venus in that house is a great time to get out there and make new friends and such, too.  Saturn is also involved with Neptune in fellow Mutable Sign, Pisces, however, which is a much less friendly aspect.  Saturn is squaring Neptune which is a major clash of energies since these two planets are quite antithetical.  Saturn loves structure, ambition, hard work and responsibility while Neptune tends to be lazy, dreamy, and let everyone else deal with reality.  This combination has done a great job of creating unrealistic expectations for work done.  Being naturally optimistic, this would be an easy ploy to fall for.  Neptune has been retrograde for a while but stations direct on November 25 which might help a little.  Retrograde planets operate below the surface which makes it more difficult to detect.  Perhaps now any deception will be easier to identify.  You can always hope.

Especially since Neptune is involved with the Full Moon on November 25 which occurs in Gemini, your polar sign and 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, business professionals, cliental, competitors and open enemies suggesting an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of someone in this category.  Neptune, however, is forming a T-square with the lunation from your 4th house which could bring some delusions.  If your birthday is right around November 26 this lunation will have a stronger effect.  The main thing to remember is that things are not likely to be as they seem so turn up the gain on your radar.  Mars may provide some assistance from Libra, even though this is a sign where he's in debility.  Nonetheless, this goes back to your 11th house of friends and such which suggests someone in this domain might be able to help you sort things out in a more realistic manner and nudge you in a slightly more realistic direction.  Pluto continues to push for letting go of something, perhaps a bad habit or something associated with your sense of pride that is detrimental to your finances in some way.  If you have an expensive habit now is the time to get rid of it, though of course this won't be easy.  Freeing yourself to be authentic may also mean you need to downside your lifestyle.  Do the math and determine what will really make you happy and go for it, in a logical, methodical way, of course.
