Lunations and Other Cosmic Events

This month is quite a bit less active than the past few have been as far as cosmic events are concerned but that doesn't mean there isn't quite a bit going on.  The New Moon on November 11 is in your neighboring sign, Scorpio, your 2nd house of income, finances, possessions, needs, comforts and pleasures which suggests bringing something new you way in this part of your life.  Interestingly enough, the lunation forms half of the base of a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God," an aspect pattern that tends to have a fated nature.  The other half of the base sextile the Moon is Jupiter in Virgo, your other neighbor and your 12th house of spirituality, dreams, visions, seclusion, confinement, institutions, your subconscious mind, the collective consciousness, hidden enemies and self-undoing.  Jupiter isn't at his best in Virgo due to its propensity for detail and criticism versus his expansive nature but nonetheless he could have a generally favorable influence for connecting with your higher self.  Since the 2nd house where the lunation occurs is your house of needs and comforts, these could work together nicely, i.e. giving yourself a break with a peaceful environment could conceivably lift you to a higher plane of existence that could be beneficial.

The eye of the yod, which looks like an arrowhead, is Uranus who's positioned in your polar sign, Aries, your 7th house of relationships including your significant other, business partners, business professionals, competitors, open enemies, and close friends and relatives.  Uranus brings surprises, disturbances, disruptions, freedom and rebellion which all have interesting implications when it comes to the people in your life.  Perhaps you will break away from someone who is bad for you, which is a huge challenge for Librans who usually would rather be in a bad relationship than none at all; you do not like to be alone.  However, if there is someone in your life who repeatedly brings you down and you only tolerate, getting in touch with your spiritual center may provide the strength you need to make a break for freedom.

Pluto in your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings, is helping you resolve old issues which can further assist in your onward trek.  Remember if you keep on doing what you've always done, you'll keep on getting what you've always got.  Ideas on how you can take better care of yourself by avoiding dysfunctional relationships can help as well.  Your sign ruler, Venus, is in your sign and helping you define and build such ideas with Saturn.  Saturn and Neptune are in a long-term square, however, which has been quite bothersome when it comes to creating unrealistic expectations, so keep them under control with a huge dose of logic.  Neptune stations direct on November 18 which should provide at least a little help.  Retrograde planets internalize their energy which makes it more likely to produce self-deception than when it's out in the open for conscious scrutiny.

The Full Moon on November 25 is in fellow Air Sign, Gemini, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, legal matters, philosophy of life, religion, politics, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation.  This suggests an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  If your birthday is right around September 27 you should be able to leverage this lunation in your favor, perhaps by discovering new information that changes your belief system in some way.  Besides the Sun, Saturn and Mercury are also opposing the lunation, which may be useful for getting rid of any beliefs that need to go.  It's not easy to let go of opinions and attitudes but enough solid information coming in to get your attention and re-examine them is the first step.  Jupiter in your 12th house could exaggerate your self-defeating behaviors enough to recognize and eradicate them.

This lunation forms a T-square with Neptune, however, so it could come loaded with deception, particularly as it relates to your job, health, service or pets.  This also implies that your beliefs and expectations of your work may be delusional.  If anyone promises you something like a raise, it's best to take it with the proverbial grain of salt.  Pluto and Uranus are in a long-term square as well which suggest challenges unloading the past and breaking free from them.  Use this energy to ponder anyone in your life you'd be better off without.
