Lunations and Other Cosmic Events

This month is a bit quieter than the last two as far as cosmic events but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty going on out there.  The New Moon on November 11 is in fellow Fixed Sign, Scorpio, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings which suggests something new coming into you life in this area.  With Mercury just upstream from the lunation it's likely that new information will be involved as well, perhaps something related to the past, an unresolved issue or control issue related to work.  The New Moon is part of the base of a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God," an aspect pattern that tends to have a fated flavor.  The other side of the base comprises Jupiter in Virgo, your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs, comforts and pleasures.  Jupiter in this house is usually pretty good unless you are prone to over-spending. 

Jupiter rules your 5th house of creativity, children, romance, ego definition, speculation and entertainment as well as your 8th house of shared resources, intense experiences, things you suppress, debt, sex, death and regeneration so there are implications for these areas as well.  In other words you may be prone to overdo it in one of those 5th house areas and thus drive yourself into debt.  Jupiter in Virgo can get tied up in details or being excessively critical as well.  The eye of this yod and thus its focal point is Uranus in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, philosophy of life, other cultures, long-distance travel, legal matters and higher learning.  Uranus brings surprises, disruptions, freedom and rebellion so this suggests you may be changing or letting go of old beliefs based on changes to your financial situation or something along those lines.  Mars, traditional ruler of Scorpio, your 4th house, as well as Aries, your 9th house, is in the last degree of Virgo which implies what could be your last chance to take action. 

Venus is in Libra, a sign she rules where she is in dignity.  This is your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel so her influence here should be helpful in these areas.  Her sextile to Saturn in Sagittarius implies an opportunity to build something, perhaps a new creative idea or even engage in a speculative venture with a sibling.  Saturn is in a long-time square with Neptune which has been a rather bothersome aspect due to its propensity for creating unrealistic expectations.  Saturn in the 5th can have a damping effect on your ego, something that may be particularly uncomfortable for a Leo.  This could be due to some delusions or not seeing things clearly, something Neptune excels at.  His presence in Pisces, your 8th house of transformations, intense experience, debt and so forth as defined earlier could bring a lot of deception and unclear thinking with regard to these matters.  A square between to antithetical planets in your house of ego and transformation could definitely bring some difficulties your way so keep an eye on these areas and make sure you're seeing things clearly.  Neptune has been retrograde for a while which internalizes his energy and may make self-deception easier but he stations direct on November 18 which will hopefully bring his dealings more out into the open so they can be recognized more easily.  If your birthday is right around July 31 this station could give you a definite nudge in a slightly different direction.

The Full Moon on November 25 is in Gemini, your 11th house of friends, goals, networking, groups, hopes and wishes.  This suggests an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  The Sun opposing the Moon is accompanied by Mercury and Saturn, all in your 5th house of creativity and ego as noted earlier.  If your birthday is right around July 27 this lunation could bring an opportunity your way but Neptune is involved so make sure you see it clearly and gather the necessary facts plus avoid unrealistic expectations for what it may involve or deliver.  Mars has gone into Libra which will provide energy to pursue your ideas or deal with other issues that involve neighbors, siblings or local travel.  Seeing things more clearly may inspire a slight change of course.  Blasts from the past are possible as well, another aspect that will be out there for a while.  Annoyances when financial issues keep you from pursuing an idea are possible as well.
