Lunations and Other Cosmic Events

The Full Moon this month on June 2 is in fellow Fire Sign, Sagittarius, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, legal matters, philosophy of life, other cultures, politics, religion, long-distance travel and relocation which suggests an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  The Sun is in Gemini, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel, highlighting that part of your life.  You'll recognize that polar houses such as these relate to each other in some way.  In this case, the thoughts and data that come in through the 3rd may eventually find permanent residence as they're synthesized into your belief system.  This gets even more interesting when you consider that Saturn retrograde, which usually indicates a need to restructure or rebuild, is in your house of beliefs and Mercury retrograde, which indicates a need to rethink, reconsider or revise, is in your house of thoughts.  Mercury RX is also not a time to move forward, regardless of what your sign ruler, Mars, may be trying to tell you.  Doing research and rethinking any plans you have is appropriate and being poised to move out when the time is right is certainly okay.

The lunation forms a T-square with Neptune in Pisces, the sign he rules as well as your 12th house of spirituality, enlightenment, inspiration, institutions, confinement, your subconscious mind, seclusion, hidden enemies and self-undoing.  This can be favorable for this dreamy part of your life but Neptune can also be deceptive and confusing as well as inspirational.  What this T-square may be trying to convey is that you've had some delusions that need to be corrected through your conscious thoughts which, in turn, can adjust your belief system accordingly.

Also involved in this lunation is that Course Adjustment Loop that I mentioned last month.  It's in effect but not for long; by the end of the month it will be gone.  Thus, if you haven't figured out what it's trying to tell you yet, now is the time before that cosmic energy dissipates and leaves you on your own.  In a nutshell it looks as if there's a general conflict between your need for independence and freedom and your career where perhaps some authority figure is making your life a living hell or perhaps your own need for control and autonomy is causing some conflict.  Your individuality and creativity can partner to help out, however, and perhaps bring a change of direction with your career or whatever else is causing those control issues in your 10th house which not only includes your career but your public image, reputation and status as well.  Pluto relates to power, control, corruption, the past and actually purging and healing such matters as well.  For example, if you're being blackmailed, perhaps you can deal with the situation in a creative way to change the situation. 

Further emphasizing the adjustment loop is a yod that sneaked in there, courtesy of your buddy, Mars, who has linked up with two of the same planets that comprise it.  A yod, a.k.a. "finger of god," has a fated flavor to it and could be saying that it's time to take care of this now.  Mars in a sextile with Jupiter implies active thoughts stimulating your creativity which can be used to resolve the Pluto issue.

Mercury stations direct on June 11.  The adjustment loop is now gone other than the conflict between your personal freedom and that Plutonian matter, though you'll be happy to know that is starting to fade.  Mercury and Saturn are still calling for balance as noted earlier with your thoughts feeding your beliefs.  There are numerous opportunities out there, however, to work things through.  From this point on taking action on your thoughts and ideas can start to be fruitful though you may not see what constitutes true progress until the end of the month.

Neptune stations retrograde on June 12 which means he'll be in the same location for a long, long time.  If your birthday is right around March 31 you may feel some annoying periods where you can't focus and as much as your Aries nature wants to move forward, something in your brain won't cooperate.  On the positive side, it may help you to get well into your subconscious mind, which can often prove useful in a variety of ways.

The New Moon on June 16 is in Gemini, a very busy sign this month.  If your birthday is right around April 16 this will sextile your natal Sun which implies an opportunity, particularly with Mars conjunct the lunation.  Taking action on an idea is definitely implied but before you jump in make sure you have all your facts straight and aren't operating off wishful thinking alone.  With two benefic planets, i.e. Jupiter and Venus, in Leo, your 5th house of creativity, romance, children, entertainment, ego definition and speculation, however, there is bound to be some benefits from those two as well.
