This month includes two Full Moon, the usual New Moon and two planets stationing retrograde, making it a busy month astrologically.  The first Full Moon on July 1 is in your next door neighbor sign, Capricorn, which is your 2nd house of income, finances, possessions, needs, comforts and pleasures.  This suggests an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  Pluto has been creeping along in that sign for quite a while now and he's not leaving anytime soon.  During his transit he will transform something in this part of your life, motivate you to take better control in that area or to reinvent your budget so as to eliminate those things you no longer need.  Along those lines, he could also inspire various cleaning frenzies to do just that, dejunk your house, attic, garage, that hall closet or whatever.  The Sun is in Cancer, highlighting your 8th house which also includes transformations along with death and regeneration, shared resources, things you suppress, intense experiences and debt.  Mars is there as well, which throws a caution flag since this placement can sometimes predispose a person to accidents, possibly because they simply plunge forward on something that has an element of danger without paying attention.  With these two malefic planets involved with the lunation, it may have a bit more intensity than usual.

Neptune, however, is mitigating it somewhat from Pisces, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings which implies whatever goes on in your money houses can constitute an opportunity to start over.  There's also a nice sextile pattern which usually delivers an opportunity or other benefit.  It comprises Uranus in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, Mercury in Gemini and a conjunction between your sign ruler, Jupiter, and Venus in Leo, yet another Fire Sign.  Thus, if your birthday is right around December 14, this will form a Grand Fire Trine with your natal Sun which could kick-start something exciting. 

But back to the sextile pattern.  Uranus in your 5th house of creativity, ego definition, romance, children, entertainment and speculation suggests innovation in your creative endeavors, individuality, breaking free from anything keeping you from being your true self, as well as various surprises and unexpected events.  Mercury in Gemini, a sign he rules and thus where he's in dignity, suggests news or information regarding someone close to you.  Gemini is your 7th house of relationships which includes your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, cliental, competitors, business professionals and open enemies so anyone who fits one of those descriptions could be involved.  Jupiter and Venus are both benefic planets hanging out in conjunction in your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, philosophy of life, legal matters, higher learning, other cultures, long distance travel and relocation. Jupiter is all about expansion and optimism while Venus is the natural ruler of love and money, so factor this into your belief system.  This has the potential to bring some encouragement and perhaps even awards or some other benefit your way.  In the extreme, it could even signify something like winning a trip to some exotic faraway place.  I hope you've noticed Jupiter and Venus in the western sky after sunset, which has provided a beautiful celestial light show for the past several weeks.

The New Moon on July 15 is in Cancer, your 8th house of transformations and such as defined above.  This suggests something new coming your way in this part of your life.  Mercury and Mars are conjunct in that house, suggesting taking action on new or an idea which could have a life-changing effect.  That particularly conjunction is opposing Pluto in your house of money, so this could have financial implications as well and require balance.  Whatever it is could represent following your dreams in which case you need to weight the pros and cons carefully.  Saturn is working on something at the subconscious level which could tend to hold you back, perhaps with good reason.  Your best bet is to do your homework, weigh the benefits versus the potential downside and make the most intelligent decision possible with the information available.

Venus stations retrograde on July 25 shortly after setting foot in Virgo, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status.  This is her least favorite sign of the zodiac where she's in a condition known as fall.  It's almost like she stepped into icy cold water and decided she really didn't want to go swimming after all.  Venus rules your 11th house of friends, groups and goals as well as your 6th house of work, health and pets.  This suggests some possible reversals in those areas.  As Venus backs up (an illusion created as Earth passes her as you would a slower car on the freeway) she will eventually pass to the other side of the Sun and become the morning star as opposed to the evening star.  When she's the evening star she's the goddess of love but when she's the morning star she's the goddess of war.  It's been said that some public figure is highly likely to fall from grace during this time.  As she slips back into your 9th house you might want to rethink your beliefs and expectations about those 11th and 6th house issues.

The next day on July 26 Uranus stations retrograde as well.  He does so squaring Mars in your 8th so be especially careful about being too daring or overconfident.  Uranus retrograde in your 5th house could bring numerous surprises and possible upset in this part of your life.  Uranus is about freedom but perhaps while retrograde any freedom recently gained may be reversed or cause you to rethink the situation.  There is still activity rumbling around in your subconscious which is likely to conflict with your belief system in some manner.  If you're feeling uncomfortable about something lately it's a possible candidate.

The Full Moon on July 31 is in Aquarius, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel.  Keep an eye out for something in that part of your life to culminate or shift to a new phase.  All that activity in your house of beliefs may finally effect a few adjustments.  Continue to listen to your intuition and avoid taking unnecessary chances.  You're likely to express yourself freely during this time but it's possible this could get you in hot water with someone so try and keep a lid on it, at least a little.
