The first cosmic event this month of note is Saturn stationing direct on 2 August in Scorpio, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel.  Saturn stationed retrograde last March in Sagittarius, you 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings, suggesting something in that part of your life has been undergoing the process of being restructured.  This was probably going on at the subconscious level so now you can be more aware of what needs to be done in this area.  If your birthday is right around August 28 the RX station squared your Sun, giving it more impact.  The direct station will sextile your Sun if your birthday is right around September 22, which indicates an opportunity could be out there, right in your neighborhood or simply an idea regarding what needs to be done.  There is quite a line-up of planets in Leo, however, your 12th house of spirituality, enlightenment, dreams, visions, seclusion, confinement, institutions, your subconscious mind, hidden enemies and self-undoing which could present an obstacle or two.  So if you know what needs to be done but are hesitant to go there that is probably where the hang-up lies.  Determination and setting a clear goal will help you get a grip on things, which is usually pretty easy for Virgo who is typically organized, loves lists and is practical by nature.  Inspiration coupled with compassion may be in order as well, particularly if a relationship is involved, with a change of direction in that department likely.

The New Moon on 14 August is also in Leo, your 12th house, as defined earlier suggesting something new coming your way.  Uranus, modern ruler of your 6th house of work and health is in Aries, your 8th house of transformations, from which he's trining the lunation, suggesting some unexpected changes relative to your job which may influence how you perceive its place in your life.  Venus, ruler of you 2nd house of income, possessions, needs, comforts and pleasures is retrograde in your 12th which suggests some subconscious rumblings about that part of your life.  For example, if you have a good paying job but you hate it, you might start to rethink whether it's all about money or not.  Your sign ruler, Mercury, has come home to your sign where he's trining Pluto in your 5th house of creativity, children and romance as well as entertainment and speculation.  Jupiter, ruler of the 4th, is in Virgo now as well, which can bring a variety of influences your way.  If your birthday is right around September 4 your ponderings and conversations at this time could have a deep and lasting effect on your self-expression or something else that resides in the 5th as noted earlier. 

The Full Moon on 29 August is in your polar sign, Pisces, your 7th house of relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, business professionals, cliental, competitors and open enemies, suggesting an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase with regard to one or more individuals in that category.  The Sun is on your natal Sun if your birthday is right around August 30, which could place this lunation in your solar return as well and thus linger the coming year.  With Jupiter conjunct the Sun and Neptune conjunct the Moon, these two planets will have a bearing on the lunation as well.  This could bring some confusion or misunderstandings to which you are considerably resistant.  Mercury, natal ruler of communications, has gone into Libra which should be useful for seeing both sides of the issue. 

Retrograde Venus and Mars are conjunct in Leo, putting the focus on relationship issues at the subconscious level as well.  you might have so interesting dreams during this time.  This pair is quincunx Pluto in your 5th, implying a change of direction or adjustment which is likely to involve a relationship.  Venus is retrograde and now the morning star along with Mars, which should be a lovely sight if you're up early enough to see them rise before the Sun.  When Venus is the morning star she was considered the goddess of war by some cultures as opposed to the goddess of love which she represents as the evening star.  This is when she puts on her armor and goes after what she wants as opposed to trying to attract it.  You may come up with a new definition of your expectations and attitudes during this time, particularly as they involve your work or the people in your life.
