This month gets off to a good start with Saturn stationing direct on 2 August.  He's been retrograde since March, a time when things seems to slow down due to obstacles, boundaries, delays and limitations.  Considering that he rules governments, corporations and authority figures of all varieties it's no surprise that these entities tend to move at glacial speed as a rule much less during the five month every year when he's doing the backstroke.  The station direct chart has a couple issues, however, that may inhibit immediate progress.  Before I get into that, however, just a reminder on what Saturn RX is all about.  Typically he operates at the subconscious level, stirring up something that needs to be restructured or rebuilt.  Once he goes direct, whatever this issue is surfaces in your conscious mind so you can get busy on it.  In most cases you'll be done by the time he exits the shadow period, which in this case is November.  He stationed at 4:55 Sagittarius, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status which squared your natal Sun if your birthday is right around February 24, giving it a little extra punch. 

Think about what has been going on in this part of your life for a while, then shift gears to your 9th house, fellow Water Sign, Scorpio, where he'll station direct at 28:17 degrees.  If your birthday is right around March 19 this will trine your natal Sun.  Your 9th house includes your philosophy of life, beliefs, expectations, higher learning, legal matters, higher learning, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation.  With the RX track involving parts of both your 9th and 10th house it's likely that this RX has a message for you that concerns both, such as your attitude toward your status or current career, the need to advance your education to get farther in your career, or something along those lines. 

Saturn's station direct chart, however, has a couple squares which could be a bit troublesome.  Jupiter and Venus retrograde in Leo are squaring Saturn from your 6th house of work, health, service, everyday activities and pets.  That house is highly occupied at this time with the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus retrograde congregated in that sign.  Jupiter is you traditional sign ruler and usually friendly but in this location it could be too much of a good thing or just too much.  If you're super-busy at work that doesn't give you much time to think about Saturn's message.  Venus, your exalted ruler, is retrograde which gives her energy an entirely different twist.  She rules your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel as well as your 8th house of transformations, intense experiences, death and rebirth, shared resources, debt and things you suppress.  Her usual message while RX is to focus on what you value enough to fight for.  Once she passes the Sun doing the backstroke she become the morning star which numerous ancient cultures considered the goddess of war as opposed to the goddess of love.  This is when she dons her armor and goes after what she wants, perhaps with a vengeance.  So you have Saturn messing with what your beliefs and expectations are of your career while Venus is RX in your house of work asking what you value enough to pursue.  And restructuring your attitude toward your career is going to depend on Venus' message.

Mars, however, is in fellow Water Sign, Cancer, your 5th house of creativity, self-expression, romance, children, entertainment and speculation and trining Saturn so getting in touch with your true self and this happy part of your life can help you find the answer, particularly if you're in a career field that is definitely not you.  Breaking away from your comfort zone could be the key coupled with getting the information you need to figure things out.  Inspiration and new insights are there as well as you see your job with new eyes which could nudge you in a different direction.

The New Moon on 14 August is also in Leo, making it a busy place this month.  This suggests something new coming to your house of work with quite a bit of innovative or potentially rebellious energy coming from Uranus in Aries, your house of income, finances, possessions, comforts, needs and pleasures.  Uranus is known for disruptions, disturbances, freedom, rebellion, innovation, originality, being unconventional and so forth which is probably not always a good thing in your money house.  In my experience I have found that Pisces tend to operate in a feast or famine type of financial situation anyway and Uranus will certainly contribute.  However, some surprises are good so this could even bring a new position with a raise, if that's what you're looking for.  Jupiter and Mercury have stepped over into Virgo, your 7th house of close relationships.  Jupiter suggests you'll be interacting with a lot of people over the next year and Mercury can help you converse with them clearly as you balance your often profound insights with logic others can understand.  Transforming your goals in likely to ultimately result.

The Full Moon on 29 August is in your sign and conjunct your natal Sun if your birthday is right around February 26.  The Moon is conjunct Neptune and the Sun conjunct Jupiter, which gives this a bit of additional flavoring.  Remember that this type of lunation often brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase.  Neptune is likely to provide either inspiration or confusion which has to be balanced with what could be too many details and information coming from someone close to you whether it's your significant other, close friend or relative, business partner, business professionals, cliental, competitors or open enemies.  Venus and Mars are conjunct in Leo, Venus still doing the backstroke.  This has relationship implications as well as more emphasis on taking action of what you really value.  Transforming your goals is likely to result as you sort things out.
