This month the first cosmic event worth noting is Saturn stationing direct on 2 August.  While retrograde Saturn tends to slow things down significantly to a crawl, present various obstacles, boundaries and limitations.  Considering that he's the natural ruler of government, corporations and authority figures generally, is it any wonder that these entities move at glacial speeds, particularly during the five months each year that Saturn is doing the backstroke?  Saturn, nonetheless, quite likes your sign, where he's exalted.  But I'm not sure that does you much good during these RX gigs.  So, the good news, is that this one is over on August 2.  This one began last March at 4:55 Sagittarius, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors, and local travel.  If your birthday is right around September 27, this sextiled your Sun and suggests an opportunity.  If you've been trying to get a new idea off the ground since then, how's that been working out for you?  I would bet very slowly.  Actually, this particularly opportunity is probably directed at rebuilding or restructuring one already in existence.  While RX, Saturn operates at the subconscious level.  Once he goes direct, these rumination come to the surface and you know what needs to be done. 

The station direct occurs at 28:17 Scorpio given that he backed up enough to go back into your 2nd house of possessions, finances, income, comforts, needs and pleasures.  The fact that his trek has involved both your 2nd and 3rd houses, some overlap of the two is likely to be involved.  Perhaps you had an idea but it now occurs to you that it would have a rather hard financial impact to pursue.  Give some thought to these parts of your life and see if anything rings the proverbial bell.  The station direct chart has a few obstacles of its own, however.  Jupiter and Venus retrograde in Leo are squaring Saturn from your 11th house of friends, groups, goals, hopes, wishes, networking an organizations.  This implies that perhaps you have a little too much going on in these areas which are hindering progress on that idea.  Venus retrograde tends to focus on your values.  It's also worth noting that once she passes the Sun she'll become the morning star which many cultures considered the goddess of war as opposed to the goddess of love.  I like to think of this time as when she dons her armor and goes after what she wants with a vengeance as opposed to sitting there waiting for it to come to her.  Venus RX can also indicate reversals in love or money. 

Mars, however, in fellow Cardinal sign, Cancer, is trying to give you a helpful push in the right direction from your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status.  In other words, whatever those obstacles happen to be, you simply need to deal with them and overcome them and not be deterred.  Uranus in Aries, your polar sign and 7th house of close relationships, is likewise providing some assistance, perhaps in the form of information or news or perhaps even just encouragement.  If things are a bit confusing at work, now is a time to address them with clear intent and set appropriate goals which will set you going in a slightly different but more effective direction.

The New Moon on 14 August is in Leo as well, making your 11th house quite busy this month.  This suggests something new coming your way in your house of friends and goals as defined earlier.  Venus RX is still there, perhaps helping you sort out priorities, while encouragement is still coming from someone close to you, perhaps someone who's a bit off the mainstream.  Jupiter and Mercury have slipped into Virgo where Mercury is particularly happy since that is the sign of his dignity as well as exaltation.  In detail-oriented Virgo he's at his best.  Jupiter's expansive effects will be in force for the coming year.  Virgo, however, is your 12th house which tends to operate behind the scenes if not entirely hidden.  This house includes spirituality, dreams, visions, enlightenment, inspiration, confinement, seclusion. institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing as well as your subconscious mind.  Mercury can be quite useful in that venue, even though you may not be consciously aware of it.  Pay close attention to what is going on at work or with your health and follow your intuition in that regard.  Confusion or deception could be issuing from your 6th due to the long-term presence of its ruler, Neptune.  Mercury in your 12th will help sort that out and perhaps set a new course as a result.

The Full Moon on August 29 is in Pisces, your 6th house of work and health as previously noted.  This type of lunation typically indicates an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  The Moon is conjunct Neptune and the Sun conjunct Jupiter which pulls in their energies.  This further reinforces a dialog between your subconscious and work or health issues.  Again, listen to your instincts because they're trying to tell you something.  Your sign ruler, Venus, is still retrograde and backing up sufficiently to be conjunct Mars in Leo.  This, of course, has relationships implications in your house of friends.  You might find yourself rethinking a friendship as having potential for the next level.  Venus is emphasizing what you value, however, so keep that in the forefront.  This could be important and serious business that brings a transformations shift and eventual new beginning.
