The first cosmic event of note this month is Saturn stationing direct on 2 August at 18:17 Scorpio, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets.  Saturn stationed retrograde back in March at 4:55 Sagittarius, your 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, cliental, competitors, business professionals and open enemies.  Saturn RX tends to draw attention to something that needs to be restructured or rebuilt which ruminates at the subconscious level until he goes direct.  Once you realize what needs to be done it's usually complete by the time Saturn comes out of the shadow period, which in this case is November.  Since he's stationing direct in Scorpio, a different sign and house, this suggests that both of these houses are involved.  What you want to consider is whether you have a proper distribution of priorities between these two areas?  Which is being neglected for the other?  The station direct chart shows a few obstacles in your way, even though once Saturn goes direct things do tend to move forward with less obstacles, delays, and boundaries.  The ones you're likely to encounter will hail from your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel.  Since you're most likely a mentally active person, this is not too much of a surprise.

The planets in Leo, your aforementioned 3rd house, include the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus, who's retrograde.  The latter two are squaring Saturn and thus the potential challenges.  Jupiter rules your 7th house of relationships so it looks as if balancing things will encounter some resistance.  In other words, if someone in your life has been keeping you so occupied that you can't tend to your work and projects, they are not going to let go gracefully.  Venus rules your 5th house of creativity, self-expression, ego definition, romance, children, entertainment and speculation as well as your 12th house which includes your subconscious mind, spirituality, enlightenment, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing.  With Venus retrograde, this is a time for you to ponder what you value the most, what you need and what you might need to do to attain it.  Eventually Venus will become the morning star at which time several ancient cultures considered her to be the warrior goddess whereas when she's the evening star she's the love goddess.  Thus, she puts on her armor and goes after what she wants.  This should help you sort things out into their proper order.  Mars is trining Saturn thus giving things a bit of a push from your 2nd house of income, finances, possessions, comforts, needs and pleasures which look as if they could be a good motivator.  Information that is unique, innovative or original could be available from friends or group associations and bring needed information your way.  Inspiration relative to your career is possible but following it will probably require a change of course, which more than likely relates to Saturn's message.

The New Moon on August 14 is in Leo, which isn't particularly surprising.  This implies something new coming to your 3rd house of thoughts and ideas, which fits nicely with what Saturn was trying to say.  Uranus is helping out with more innovation and excitement from your friends and groups but it's possible that this is also a distraction that you should cut-off.  If whatever is coming from that direction isn't helpful, then focus on what you need to do and break free.  Jupiter and Mercury, your sign ruler, have moved into Virgo, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings.  These could be huge endeavors that will continue to expand so bear that in mind.  Inspiration is probably profuse but be sure to balance it with logic.  Transformations are likely which will change how you see the world and approach your accomplishments.

The Full Moon on August 29 is in fellow Mutable Sign, Pisces, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status.  This type of lunation suggests an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  The Moon is conjunct Neptune and the Sun conjunct Jupiter which brings their energies into the effects.  This could bring additional attention to Saturn's message with the possibility that your dreams for your career will have to be balanced with your home life and responsibilities.  Venus, who's still retrograde, is conjunct Mars in Leo, which suggests thinking about relationships some more and perhaps effecting a transformational shift as a result.  Your sign ruler in Libra, the sign that rules relationships, should help you sort things out in a fair and balanced manner while maintaining your own personal goals and needs.
