The first cosmic event to report on this month is Saturn stationing direct on 2 August.  When Saturn is RX events seems to unfold in slow motion, at least those you want to facilitate.  There are boundaries, obstacles, delays and problems.  Since Saturn rules governments, corporations and authority figure and is retrograde an average of five months per year is it any wonder they move like molasses in January?  So, the good news is that things should start to improve a move a bit better, kind of like taking a cosmic laxative.  Saturn stationed retrograde back in March at 4:55 Sagittarius, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets.  He eventually made it back into Scorpio, a fellow Water Sign, and your 5th house of ego definition, self-expression, creativity. children, romance, entertainment and speculation.  This suggests that perhaps you've been working too hard and need to restructure your schedule such that you can attain better balance. 

The station chart has a few issues, however, such as all those planets hanging out in your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs, comforts and pleasures.  These include the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus, the latter two of which are squaring Saturn.  Jupiter rules your 6th house so this implies that work is going to increase, making this more difficult.  Venus is retrograde and ruler of your 4th house of home environment as well as your 11th of friends, groups and goals.  That sounds like some more things to keep you from a little R&R but Venus RX points toward the areas to look where you might be able to cut back your activities or obligations to find more time to relax and have fun with the kids, your romantic interest or simply doing something you enjoy.  Ironically, the 2nd house includes your finances, needs, comforts and pleasures.  This house also needs adequate attention but of course money can be an issue.  Mars is in your sign trining Saturn, suggesting you can do this if you put your heart into it.  A change of status, perhaps an unexpected raise or promotion, may help out as well.  Take a look at your beliefs and expectations as well, which may be a bit too idealistic and need a nudge or two to make sure your priorities are properly set.

The New Moon on 14 August is also in your 2nd house, Leo.  This suggests something new coming your way which is likely to come as a surprise.  Mars has gone into that sign, throwing plenty of drive and energy to go after it.  Venus is retrograde, a time when she eventually becomes the warrior goddess who dons her armor and goes after what she wants.  Continue to examine your expectations to see if they're unrealistic.  This is best done by looking at cold, hard facts, which are out there profusely if you take a look around.  Someone close to you may be able to help as well and thus transform your thoughts and ideas to ways to sort things out to a more balanced proportion.

The Full Moon on 29 August is in fellow Water Sign, Pisces, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, philosophy of life, other cultures, long-distance travel, legal matters and relocation suggesting an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  With the Moon conjunct Neptune and the Sun conjunct Jupiter, those two planets will be influencing the lunation's energy as well.  If your expectations have been out of whack, this could bring such to your attention while Jupiter throws plenty of logic and practicality into the mix.  Ideas related to home may cause some irritations but these can be resolved favorably with some effort.  Mars and Venus, who's still retrograde, are conjunct in your 2nd house of income and such.  This implies that perhaps you could have more fun at home but it may require some adjustments regarding someone close to you, perhaps your partner or someone else who likes to maintain control.  A conjunction between Venus and Mars has some relationship implications as well with the quincunx to Pluto implying that some transformations are in order to make it more pleasurable.  Whatever obstacles are before you at this time it looks as if they can be navigated with some thought and effort.
