Lunations and Other Cosmic Events

The Full Moon on April 4 is also a Lunar Eclipse which gives it a bit more punch and staying power than the typical lunation.  In fact, it's effects can even come before the actual eclipse and linger for months afterwards with its degree "hot" and subsequently triggered by transits.  If your birthday is right around December 7 the Sun/Moon eclipse system forms an aspect pattern with your natal Sun known as a Triangle of Potential.  This suggests that you can leverage this energy to your advantage.  The eclipse occurs in Libra, your 11th house of goals, hopes, wishes, groups, organizations, friends and networking while the Sun is in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, your 5th house of romance, children, creativity, ego definition, entertainment and speculation.  This suggests an excellent opportunity to set some goals that relate to one or more of these areas.  Your sign ruler, Jupiter, is in Leo, another Fire Sign, and trining your natal Sun if your birthday is right around December 5.  Leo is your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, legal matters, politics, religion, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation where Jupiter is accidentally dignified, enhancing his influence.  He's tied into the eclipse as well suggesting the eclipse will impact this part of your life as well.

A somewhat less enchanting transit is in effect for those of your born right around November 27 which comprises Saturn parked on your natal Sun.  Saturn transits are seldom much fun and you might want to read a previous blog I posted on such things here.  Saturn tends to be quite a wet blanket of gloom and doom who is the Lord of Karma and also a stern task master.  In other words, any mistakes you may have made in life could be coming back to haunt and/or bite you at this time.  Mars is quincunx Saturn from Taurus, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets which suggests a change of direction in this part of your life.  This could very well relate to that creative endeavor noted earlier.  Saturn is all about practicality and you may be encountering some resistance if this idea is somewhat off-the-wall and highly speculative.  All that energy in Aries, the house that rules such things, could be helpful, however, so just make sure you appraise things carefully and logically such that Saturn is satisfied with the prognosis.  Pluto in Capricorn, your 2nd house of income, possessions, needs, comforts and pleasures, is probably not particularly enchanting, either, and may be holding you back as well and this may be the major challenge holding you back.

On April 8 Jupiter stations direct which should further expand your confidence and belief in your idea which may have further developed by becoming more innovative or perhaps with some surprising information.  Pluto is still not particularly happy about it but if you manage to satisfy Saturn of the feasibility of your intent then Pluto should relent.  Make sure you're basing things on fact, however, and not delusions or wishful thinking.  There's a difference between visualizing the end result and moving toward it while believing you'll achieve it and wishful thinking which can sometimes have negativity lurking behind it, i.e. thinking it probably won't happen.  Belief is essential and the more solid evidence supporting your plan you have the easier it will be for you to believe it yourself.

The New Moon on April 18 is in Aries, bringing even more energy to your house of creativity and such.  Favorable news at work is possible, but don't be over-confident or arrogant because it is likely to work against you.  Someone close to you may be compromising your confidence as well, perhaps because they don't understand well enough.  Explaining is likely to be somewhat annoying but it's also an opportunity to bring them around to your side of the story.
