Lunations and Other Cosmic Events

The Full Moon this month on April 4 is also a lunar eclipse which gives it a significant punch compared to the usual lunation.  It occurs in fellow Air Sign, Libra, your 5th house of ego definition, children, romance, creativity, entertainment and speculation and trines your natal Sun if your birthday is right around 5 June.  This suggests a change of direction perhaps toward a new goal involving something residing in your 5th house.  Saturn retrograde in your 7th house of relationships could be a bit troublesome and precipitate some obstacles and a slower pace toward something you want to accomplish such as a career goal.  Mars in your 12th house which includes hidden enemies as well as your subconscious mind suggests the need to watch your back and determine if those delays are deliberate.  Nonetheless, networking is favored so if necessary feel free to call in some favors, especially if what you have in mind is big enough to require so additional momentum.  Pluto moseying along in your 8th house suggests long-term transformations which may be required before you can attain what you want.  If that's the case, perhaps Mars represents your own subconscious sabotaging you in some way.

Jupiter stations direct on April 8 which may help get things going, at least as far as the thought process is concerned.  Uranus and Mercury are conjunct at that time which suggests innovative ideas or the use of mass media to connect with others.  Pluto is still holding things up, however, so take a close look at how you really feel about your goals and whether or not your heart is really into it.  Conferring with an older or more experienced person, perhaps even a counselor, may be useful if it's something you can't identify or overcome on your own.

The New Moon on April 18 is in Aries, your 11th house of friends, goals, hopes, wishes, groups, organizations and networking.  You may be on a roll as far as innovative ideas or perhaps connecting with others but you may still be undermining yourself and your efforts with a lack of confidence or disbelief that you can achieve what you want.  Not believing you can do it is the more subtle and dangerous kind of self-sabotage.  This is where the concept of "thoughts become things" comes into play and if your thoughts are negative you can bet dollars to donuts that it's not going to happen regardless of how much work you put into it.  I did this to myself numerous times over the years and it's a tough thing to overcome when you confidence is not as strong as it should be or you're surrounded by naysayers.  Make sure you have all the facts and reassess your plan, making any necessary modifications to get yourself on track.  You probably have more people behind you in your endeavors that you realize.
